Last week I was at the “Instabul Göz Hastanesi” in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul and had my eyes lasered. This private clinic was founded by ophthalmologists and therefore specializes only in ophthalmology. I made my appointment via WhatsApp and was able to make an examination appointment at short notice and have my eyes lasered on the same day. The examination and operation were carried out by Doz. Dr. Özgürhan carried out. His professional manner left me with no question as to whether I should get rid of my glasses here :) The Intralase-Femto-Lasik method was used and my operation was finished after 10-15 minutes. After the operation I was supposed to come in early the next day for a check-up. I was offered the opportunity to spend the night in the clinic so that I wouldn't have to endure Istanbul's morning traffic for the check-up at 8 a.m. the next morning. The carer for laser surgery patients, Tugba Hanim, makes every effort to provide the patients with the best possible care and support. Many thanks to the entire clinic team. After the operation I was just annoyed as to why I hadn't had this laser treatment earlier. I can therefore recommend everyone to have their eyes lasered here. Price-performance is unbeatably good here. And the result can be seen with the naked eye the next day ;)

Yesterday, I went to a well-known eye hospital in Etiler due to my severe eye dryness and the doctor wasn't helpful to come up with solutions for me. In fact, the consultation was a waste of time and extremely disappointing. He merely prescribed me with eye drops. Today, I had a consultation with Dr Ozgur Gozpinar from Istanbul Goz Hastanesi for the same issue which I have been dealing with for 4 years that no doctor so far, could help me with. Dr Ozgur was a true gem! He was very well-knowledged and thorough, making sure appropriate test was carried out to determine the severity of my condition. It turned out that my condition was indeed unusually severe and he explained all the possible solutions for me. For the first time in 4 years after seeing couple of doctors from so called prominent hospitals, a doctor finally addressed and diagnosed my medical issue seriously and accurately. I will NEVER go to another hospital for any eye issue again except Istanbul Goz Hastanesi. They are true professionals and an expert in the field. Don't be fooled by fancy hospitals etc. Look for true experts in the related field, don't risk your health especially when it comes to your sight! Complaint About Eye Examination Experience! Op. to learn my new glasses prescriptions. Dr. I made an appointment with Özgür Gözpınar. Since I did not have insurance, I was asked to pay 1,400 YTL (approximately $45 USD) as an examination fee. I live abroad and I can get the same service for $50~$60. My examination is Op. Dr. ÖZGUR Gözpınar completed it very quickly and sent me to the scanning room to have an OCT scan to look at the veins behind the pupil, without asking me, without explaining to me, or without discussing the issue with me. There was a cashier right at the entrance of the scanning room and when I went there, a fee of 1,500 YTL was requested from me. I thought this service was included in the initial fee I paid, but I was wrong.Op. Dr. I went back to OZGUR Gözpınar and reminded him how necessary this scan was and that it was done for an extra fee. He said to me - "Oh! I understand, you don't have money for this service and you can't afford it, I understand. You don't mind" - and gave me only my eye number prescription. ! ! ! I call out to the owners and managers of this hospital: It is unacceptable for you to treat your customers like a number and serve them with unnecessary speed and disrespect, accompanied by sullen assistants. If you do not teach your employees, who have the title of Doctor in front of their names, with arrogant and disrespectful attitudes, how to serve customers and the rules of ethics (so, At first, I can promise you that you will lose me and, thanks to me, you will lose dozens or even hundreds of customers. Of course, it is important to open your establishments, make investments and make a profit. However, while earning these profits, it is also your duty to serve your customers with dignity, respect and decency within the framework of ethical rules. My advice is to train your staff on customer relations and communication skills and to adopt a respectful, friendly and warm and helpful approach towards patients.

We were super satisfied from the start. Istanbul Göz Hastanesi in Istanbul is very professionally set up and the location in Bahçelievler is also easy to reach by public transport. My wife had her eyes operated on by Prof. Dr. Engin Bilge Özgürhan. He took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. Also a big thank you to Ms. Tugba Altun Kocalar. My wife was very scared at the beginning but she was able to calm us down and took great care of us from A to Z. I wear glasses because I have myopia and astigmatism problems in my eyes. I made an appointment with Doctor Enver Cicekdagi for a spectacle examination and went for a checkup. The doctor performed the examination very well and informed me about the changes in my eyes. Since I live in Turkey for work, it was very important to get service from a doctor who speaks English. Also the best part was that the hospital was very well maintained and clean.

I had an eye surgery in this hospital under supervision of Dr Engin. It was all smooth and quick. After 4 hours I was able to watch tv and after 4 days I just need to use eye drops. My eyes were lasered using No Touch Laser (TransPRK). My aunt had surgery here (laser eye surgery) about 20 years ago. That's why I chose Istanbul Göz. The operation went very well. I was not afraid. Yesterday I went to Istanbulgöz Hospital in the Bahçelievler district to see Prof. Dr. Engin Özgurhan Bey. The operation was over quickly, you were warmly welcomed and everything was explained several times. After the operation I had pain in one eye and a lot of water flowed out of the eye, which is normal. The first few days are a bit blurry. All in all it was very successful. My glasses are finally gone. I can recommend it to everyone so far. They also make a difference in terms of price if you stick with it.
