We'd thought we'd give Lebanese food a try (something different) and we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is well themed, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food arrived quickly and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! Quality food that's worth every cent, a must-try if you're in the area.

Authentic Lebanese dishes. Highly recommend the eggplant fatteh. The chicken wrap with special sauce was good. Chicken was juicy, wrapped in warm soft flatbread. Service was a little sleepy. Probably because it was after lunch hour and a gloomy rainy day.

my friend and I ordered the chicken 1 & 2 menu, but unfortunately it was sold out because we came a bit late. then a staff named Rabia offered a vegan menu and surprisingly it was very delicious! my friend really likes his crunchy and delicious felafel. i ordered the sambousak which was also very tasty. Rabia's service is very satisfying and makes us want to come back!

Tahin you out did yourself today. First time customer and surely will be trying all your other locations and this venue in the future. You have a life long customer . Ordered the chicken wings and was amazingly flavourful. Service was excellent, welcoming and helpful. WC was clean and neat. Overall great food and experience.

My experience here is getting worse every time I visit. It was the service quality that we weren’t happy with, at the beginning. However, the food is just disappointing than ever. Oil they fry the food with turned absolute black and there is a horrible smell on the falafels. Yet, they reject your feedback and claim that “it is how it supposed to smell like”. Grills were as tasty as any other kebab house. There isn’t anything special about here anymore.

I wish I could eat here every day! If you are a fan of Lebanese food (crazy if not) and you have found yourself in Istanbul, I am highly recommending this place! I had Lebanese vegetarian menu. Great thing is they have meat, vegan and vegetarian menu variants!

This site was recommended as one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Istanbul. I cannot say that it did not meet our expectations. Smiling service, perfect food, in general - enjoyable place. I'd like to find a beer in their menu... Anyway - visit, don't doubt! Menu as per Feb 25, 2022.

Do not think this Tahin is as good as it’s other restaurants. The service was pretty slow and the food wasn’t as tasty. The fattoush salad didn’t have any tomatoes and had the wrong type of lettuce and the falafel wrap took a very long time to arrive.

Nice vibes located on a vibrant pedestrian street in Karakoy serving libanese food. Very long menu with plenty of options including vegetarian dishes, we tried the the flalfel and kebab dorums they were average nothing special.

Nice addition to enriching food scene in Karakoy. Great place to get to taste Lebanese cuisine at a neat and comfortable setting. Mezes such as hummus were great, falafel was good but the meat could be better. The yoghurt soup with dumpling like filling inside was tasty as well. I wouldn’t mind coming back to try other remaining things on the menu.

Eating Lebanese food across the world, I expected to have more tastier version here in Turkey compare to some countries like Canada. the food was just fine. Such that for one time try is good. I will never back there again.

Nice Lebanese cuisine in the heart of Istanbul, rates are above the average a bit, but still good.

Busy, central location with a stylish, modern interior. It's a smart idea to serve the set menus in bento-boxes! The food itself was okay, well-balanced. Just the tabouleh was too heavy on parsley as you can see on the picture. The service could have been much friendlier and pro-active. Overall good value for money in a popular tourist-location.

Aamazing fresh Arabic cuisine, though modified a bit for all tastes. The kafte and chicken kabob are really good. They have a meal option were you get a couple sides like hummus and tabbouleh, but the portion iof the main meal is smaller. Prices are a bit expensive given the smaller portions, but everything is fresh and the restaurant is clean. I think its the best Arabic/Mediterranean food in the area. And you can stroll in the neighborhood afterwards!

Food was very good as expected. The only reason I gave 3 star is the service. Not really friendly staff, plus while having dinner when I asked to order additional dish they said it's closing time. If it's near to closing time you shouldn't accept new customers. We were literally like 30 mins there and it was closing time.

We ordered Lebanese vegan 1 menu and Lebanese vegan 2 menu.. both are delicious and the potato little bit spicy in menu 1 .. the boxes are really good if you want to take them with you and sit outside . Another day I sat there and ordered Tabolah, fettah with eggplant, lentil soup and lemon with mint juice, everything was tasted really good! So much variety for vegans and vegetarians in this restaurant

After many days of eating meat kebabs, we were looking for falafels and Tahin hit the spot. The menu is varied with plenty of salads, dips & nibbley food. We ordered the spicy hummus, mutabal, lentil soup & falafels. The hummus (smooth but not spicy) and mutabal were ok but the falafels were the best by far! They were lovely and crispy on the outside, with a nice fluffy inside and came with some salad & a lovely tahini dip. The lentil soup was nice but came last and was missing crispy pitta bits on top. It got quite busy so if you're a large group, you'll probably need to book or go early .

Came for our last lunch in Istanbul before heading home. I’m glad we stopped here. The food was very good. Sit inside if you want air conditioning. Thankfully no smoking is allowed inside. Our server spoke perfect English which made it easy to order. I would come back again and try something else if we weren’t heading home tonight.

I recently visited Tahin restaurant in Istanbul and was impressed by the variety of vegan options available on the menu. As a vegan myself, I was delighted to find such a wide selection of dishes to choose from. I ordered the vegan deluxe box meal, which came with a variety of tasty treats. The hummus was the highlight of the meal for me, with a deliciously creamy texture and just the right amount of seasoning. Although the restaurant was a bit late in serving our food, the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience at Tahin and would recommend it to anyone looking for delicious vegan food in Istanbul.

The place has a nice vibe and the food was really nice. Although, the service could be improved. We went on a Friday night so perhaps the late arrival of our order was because the restaurant was super busy.

Love the food and staff here. We had the set and it is tasty and plenty for one person. You get a mix of different dishes all in a bento box. Sorry didn't take a picture of my food but will best time for sure. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating w heaters. The staff here are very friendly. The place is along from loads of other great restaurants and bars. Pop down and have a wonder along if you get a chance.

Simple cafe with Lebanese street food classics, meze set is really good, it consists of muhammara, mutabal, hummus and yogurt with mint. All of them a really good, especially muhammara, red pepper paste, it’s just slightly spicy and sweet and it has walnuts in it, which gives an extra boos to the flavors. Falafel is okay, I would like more spices to be in it, though it is served with nice tahini sauce. The service however is not very attentive, after finishing with the food I was waiting for a while for the waiter to notice my desperate attempts to get his attention.

We got the vegan menu option one which came with falafel and potatoes. Unfortunately the hummus ran out and we got baba ganoush instead. The food was amazing, especially the tabbouleh. The lemonade was just okay and the service can be described as okay. Would come again!

The hummus was very very good and overall the food had a very good taste. You can see everything what they prepare because of the open kitchen and the place is clean.

Tahin is a small outlet in a quaint street full of coffee houses and cafes. A must visit for a quick bite or just to satisfy a craving for lebanese food. Tried the hot, crisp felafel accompanied by a variety of flavored hummus. Excellently prepared and quickly served! They lose a star just for closing early! (10 pm)

I liked this place, in the menu you can take a tray that contains different type of food. the price for one of these was about 100. the portions are very generous and the price quality seemed good. there are many vegetarian and vegan alternatives. It is not the best falafel that i have tasted. The humus is high quality, but not the best.
