We ate Chicken Karahi and Chicken Madras with Naan and Halwa Puri nashta three times during our stay in Istanbul. The food was very tasty and desi style. We were served absolutely fine by someone a Pakistani sister manager. Recommend if you are really looking for a good desi style food

SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Worst restaurant experience I have had in Istanbul. Went with my family of 5 to have an Indian dinner when we were looking at the menu of this restaurant from outside and called in by the owner. Not sure why he bothered calling us in when there was only 2 other groups there and they didn’t bring our food out until after 40 minutes. When the food did come I was shocked to see the small portion size. We paid 200 lira for 2 small finger length pieces of a so called chicken seekh kebab (as you can see in the pic it looks like they took 1 kebab and cut it in half). I was extremely shocked considering the neighbouring desi restaurants were giving such large portions (multiple kebabs) for the same price. The food tasted average and was not worth the horrible customer service. The waitress/manager didn’t even check in during the long wait and we had to keep asking when the food would come. In the end when concerns were brought up again the manager refused to make any amends. It seems this is a common theme for this restaurant as the couple next to us ordered chicken biryani but received plain rice and were also overcharged in the end. If you end up going to this nightmare double check ur bill.

Great pakistani/ indian flavoured. We ordered one pani puri which was just awsome, 1 chicken tikka masala and 1 biryani rice. The biryani rice was served hot and very flavourful with raita. The restaurant is moderatly price and portions are enough for two. Definetely worth a try.

Super kudos! Being far away mostly from my country Pakistan, one thing I miss the most is our food. Spicy and delectable; food is one thing which makes up for one’s happiness. Aladdin did a fantastic job in maintaining the high standards. Exquisitely cooked, chic ambience plus the guy Aqib helped a lot to convince me that I should give it a try. And convinced now I am with the taste! Great experience and will definitely come again. 🙌

Summary: Total waste of Money. Please beware, there is a Pakistani guy standing on the street just outside this restaurant. He will talk sweet and reassure you that the food would be amazing. Please dont be fooled by him. Full Review: 1. Mix Grill.... The chicken was off and had bad smells. Not fresh at all. The so called mixed grill only had one smelly chk leg, 3 smelly wings and 4 smelly pieces of tikka. Terrible. 2. Lamb Karahi...Karahi is only called karahi because the meat is boiled and prepared from raw but we were served with a pre-pared stuff which was not karahi at all. It can be called Meat Balti but certainly not Karahi. 3. Chick Achari....Chicken achari is called achari because pickle is used in it to give a nice khatta khatta taste. We received a pre-cooked chk balti type stuff. It certainly didn't taste like chk achari. 4. Naans..Horrible.. Horrible.. . this place does not even know what a true naan looks like..at the time of placing order we specially requested that we like our naans fresh and hot....they gave us 5 naans with our order. By the time we finished the smelly mixed grill ( kids didn't even eat it. I was feeling bad about wasting money so i stuffed it in my stomach) the naans were rock solid like paapers. We then ordered one extra naans that cane after 15 mins and it was horrible too. 5. Pakistani doodh waali Chai ( Pakistani mix tea). They gave us tea when we were eating food. By the time we finished the smelly food. Tea was cold. I had to just drink it like a cold drink Payment: The prices shown on the menu are not the actual prices. They add service charge and tax on top of your bill. According to ny calculations our bill should have been 730 Lira but they charge me 880 Lira after adding service charge and tax. Prices on menu should be fully transparent including tax, so the customers should know what they will pay.

Great food, not crazy prices, and best they were flexible and gave me a special of a 3 curry set, and spicy as I asked for. Staff and owner were nice and it was a good experience.

Overall an excellent experience. Food was amazing. Nicely presented and taste was awesome. Would love to visit again. Staff was very polite specially the manager. The food was horrible. The food was old leftovers, the chicken in the food smelled bad. Mango lassi was disgusting. The salad was old and dry. They lied to us at the entrance that that they were cheaper than other neighboring restaurants. The prices on the menu are lower what they really charge, I felt robbed. I don't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant if you don't want to spoil your mood.

We have ordered their Special Aladin Biryani which according to them was their most special and trust me it wass sooooo dry, tasteless, hardly any chicken in it and they added fries on the too which were terribly hard and dry! Asked for mixed grill platter and after 30 mins they said they dont have it all and they can only provide chicken tikka which was again horrible in taste! Not fresh food at all, no taste, our bad luck that we went there and wasted our time and money! Please don't go in this Restaurant. They're greedy scammers. We were charged a mandatory service of more than 20% (100 Lira / ~6€) and even worse: the prices on the bill are not the prices on the menue (which were already recently overwritten). In total we paid twice the expected prices of the menue...

Have a habit of trying out Indian food in different countries since I am a big fan. I was very disappointed this place. Initially the spot it lead me to on Google was not even correct and was actually in a different hotel. Ordered a chicken biryani, butter chicken and a plain naan. My usual orders everywhere. Biryani was very bland and even if it was a Pakistani style biryani this was lacking flavour. Next the butter chicken was full of bones and chopped bones so many small pieces in it that ruined the experience of butter chicken as it should be boneless. The sauce as well was not good nor tasty. The naan was not that good and did not seem it was cooked in a tandoor but it’s fine was better than the biryani. But was too heavy and not fluffy enough. My service was fine had no complaints but was disappointed as there should be more love put into the food they cook as there was a decent amount of people in the restaurant too.

Onion bhaji - too salty Chicken pakora - flavourless No proper sauces - have bottled tomato ketchup! Which world are we in ? It's chutney ... always chutney green mint chilly chutney Chicken biryani - cold. 3 small chunks of chicken bone, just rice! Meat curry - cold. 6 pieces of meat Chapati- lovely Tea - lovely Bill - why add tax (???) And service charge on top ? Don't lure customers in on the pretence that you're cheap. You're not cheap. Be transparent. The experience left me disappointed. I wish I'd googled first, or at least followed my usual instinct- the restaurant was empty for a reason. We were the only customers there. A wonderful place to dine in. Courteous staff with a permenant friendly smile on their faces. Delicious food and the best part of the menus was Pakistani tea. The only place in taskim square known to me where your taste buds can get a bit satisfaction of the carving of tea of Pakistani hotel. Always visit this restaurant when in Istanbul

This is my favourite Indo-Pak restaurant. Their curries are amazing, the naan bread is particularly good. Service is great and the restaurant people are lovely. The price is also very fair for what you get served.

This restaurant is on a street very close to Taksim Sq and there is many Indian places to choose from. The food is really bad. and I would not go back as well as suggest you avoid. Also when you pass this place on the street they stand in front of you and block your way on the small path. So rude!!Asking people to visit your restaurant is ok but blocking people is not. Avoid Aladdin Indian Restaurant. Also I have tried all the places and they are just expensive tourist traps with sub-par food.

Best Indian restaurant in Taksim, after trying all other indian/pakistani restaurants here we found aladdin to be the best. Head chef Ali and manager Parminder Singh were cooperative, and made sure we are satisfied with the food.

The food (Butter chicken, Lamb Karahi and Dhal Makhani) was excellent with goodsozed portions - and the service was great. We had not planned on coming to this restaurant, but luckily for us the one that we had planned to eat at was closed for a function. We are in Istanbul for a few more days and now plan on having another meal here.
