I've just finished my meal at Levent Borek, I have to say that it was a total disappointment. prices are extremely high, esp. for tourists; as for the size of the portions, were shockingly small!! a couple of bites each not even enough for a small kid. Talking about the service and the waiting time, it was the worst. table was dirty took forever to get cleaned, tea was not freshly brewed nor warm, and on top of that some items we did not order yet were magically added to the bill.

TOTAL SCAM Super expensive and they don’t tell you the price and then they screw you over…what an experience Would never come again! He wanted 2200 for the picture

Sooooo tasty, I’m glad we randomly entered this place without much expectations. Their boreks are all very tasty, ask for a mixed plate to try different options. It’s quite rich and will probably be more than enough for breakfast. Their salad is also very fresh and tasty.

They gave us bill… 960 lira!!! At bill they added extra plate what we not ordered!!! My husband starting talking with them… but they not have menu…not show prices!!!After a lot of talking … they removed a extra plate but bill become 880 lira🙄 31.07.2022 we went other restaurant for breakfast for 2 persons. Restaurant located in 1 min from this bad one and breakfast for 2 - only 215 lira!!! Compare 960 and 215!!!!

Be extra careful when eating here! The users giving 1 star are perfectly right, they scam people badly, especially tourists! I would highly recommend NOT to risk being charged astronomically high prices and just go and eat somewhere around the corner.

Basically a scam! Cheese borek is nice but they won’t tell you the prices or show you a menu and you’ll get ripped off at the end when asking for a bill (you won’t get a proper bill, just a random sum). They’ll bring you random extra dishes that you haven’t ordered and of course they’ll add those too to your bill (I naively thought that they were so nice and offered us some cherries 🍒). Stay away from this place - there are loads of better ones!

The börek here is perfect very delicious, multiple choices the best is the cheese and pastırma. The gozlme was ok but too much oily. The mantı wasn't good. They didn't mix the sauce as well. The service was good. Average prices.

Not recommend! Average food for a costly price! Everything was written in Turkish, and the cashier was not very friendly/in the mood to explain what I could eat, so I took only the spinach and meat pie, two small pieces each and an orange juice. The food was ok, but nothing special but the biggest surprise was the price, the girl asked me the equivalent of 13€, which is just unacceptable, she just profited from the fact that I was not aware of the price before.

If none of you noticed they'll rip you off at the counter based off the banner price they have outside. The dish is actually bland compared to what an authentic version is supposed to taste like. Stop supporting bad businesses. This business is lucky it's in a location where tourists only go by once.

This place is a scam. Do not eat here. No menu prices anywhere and when it's time to pay, the card machine is broken and was charged a crazy amount. €80 for 2 coffees 2 eggs a cheese and olive plate and borek. Based on the other reviews I have now seen, this is a common occurrence. Beware! Also probably not paying taxes so maybe the local area government want to check them out.

SCAM! They tell you to pay when you are finished so not to walk away when they tell you the price. Paid the equivalent of what a three course meal would cost for a couple of pastries.

We took Gözleme for 140 TL (5.5$) I think it was very expensive. I liked Gözleme, but after eating, a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, possibly individual intolerance.

Feel free to eat somwhere else. Like a small börek shop. This is a tourist trap. Looks clean but it's not. We got hair in our food. Prices way way higher than they should be.

Most of the comments are fake. Horrible coffee. Rude staff. If you order one borek they will bring you 2 and make you pay for them. Best part is like the food is tasteless and at a very expansive price. AVOID!!!

Dishonest place - they tried to charge us for 3 portions of borek even though we ordered one. We thought it was a mistake until we talked to others and found out it happened to them too.

Everything on the menu was overpriced They charge 40 TL only for service It was very dissaponting , quality of olives and burek was also below standarts. 9 tea , 2 coffee ve 6 portion burek cost us 334 TL which is shockingly expensive. This would be an average price for 4 person in a steakhouse.

At the beginning is a little confusing because at the counter they they only offer to you the “lasagna type” dishes which by the way we tried the cheese, cheese with meat and Nutella ones and they were delicious. I took a photo of the dish I wanted from the menu and then all went well. Orange juice is very fresh and they bring with with ease anything you ask. The tomato & eggs were amazing, coffee as well delicious. I recommend this place very much!

Loved the börek. Nice Location - next to Bosphorus but not Facing it. I've ordered regular Borek with cheese. The portion is just enough. But it's a bit overpriced. Customer service is moderate.

This is by far the best Borekci in Istanbul. They do fresh borek and also nice breakfast. Affordable prices. Location is in the centre of Istanbul looking at the Bosporus.

Stay far away unless you like getting scammed/ripped off. Extremely high prices for simple borek and tea. I paid 450TL for one portion cheese and one portion meat borek not to mention they tasted terrible and also one tea. Absolute rip off. There are much better places with way better prices.

I started my day and wanted a nice Turkish Breakfast, no price indicated but I trust the service to advice me something good.(Never do this), at the end I had to much to eat and the bill was matching with 4 stars Michelin... prices in Europe are cheaper. How to have bad experience and not possible to pay by cart. For the next tourist, who want a nice breakfast, please avoid this place.
