Lincoln Park Playground

Park Playground

🫤 Decent park for the kids, but it’s not accessible for those we a disability. No disability parking, no lowered curbs, and no clear footpath to the park from the street or parking. Even when the park is completely empty, there still is no parking available because of the flats across the street. People often mention park, play, equipment,

With plenty of play equipment, public toilets and heaps of open space, this park is an excellent oasis in the centre of north Essendon. You can kick the footy and play on the children’s play equipment. You might find the park opens it self too much to the main Lincoln Road so be careful with the kids. There is a regular “Farmers market” held here. It’s just a short walk upLeake Street to the well serviced North Essendon shopping strip. Great opportunity to grab some takeaway and enjoy the park like our family did.

Very basic suburban park. Limited entertainment for children. All metal play equipment that is not sun friendly which makes it unsuitable for children as it gets very hot in sunny days. Timber and plastic would be s better option.

Kids play area a bit limited for equipment but they can run free or kick a ball around in the large field. Has 1 Pokestop & 2 Pokegyms.

The Farmers Market here is a great place to go. You get a variety of stuff including fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, handmade goods etc. There are also a lot of eating options available including dimsums, fresh smoothies etc. Good to support Australian produce and farmers.

Better than what it was, still needs more landscaping and play equipment needs an upgrade. Latest round of tree planting has improved the overall aesthetic

Fresh fruit, vegetables. Cheeses, Wine, flowers. and varied crafted goods. Add in live music which created a festive atmosphere .
