If you fancy eating top-class authentic tapas right in front of the historic remains of an ancient fortress, then this is for you. One street back from the hustle and bustle of the main pedestrian street, it's close enough to try, but far enough to ensure an authentic, historic and very memorable meal. The food is as amazing as the staff are friendly. Definitely try it!

Lovely terrace next to the castillo of Estepona. This is a great neighbourhood to spend your evenings. The tapas were very good and you can get 6 for 10 euros so that is a fair deal!

Hidden away a couple of streets back from the main drag but worth the detour. Great food, amazing value.

Good value tapas and a nice place to sit outside on a sunny day, next to the remaining wall from the old castle which gives this restaurant its name.

Hidden gem for a few drinks and Tapas. I had Pampers and Chicken Livers which were the best I’ve ever had! Great location too.

Had Tapas yesterday. 6 tapas for 10€ and Plato del diablo for 4.50€. Didn't know what to expect. Portions were generous but more importantly the food was excellent. Can recommend this place and will difindefin visit again.

For the price La Muralla is exceptionally good. Right now they're doing a full portion of grilled, freshly caught Estepona sardines for €4, it's incredible. Family owned (great people too). It's about a minute walk off Plaza del Flores and well worth that walk. Lovely location too - under the old castle walls, great atmosphere in the evenings

We visit La Muralla every time we’re in Estepona and are never disappointed. Beautiful location by the Roman wall, delicious tapas (6 plates for just 10 Euros) and friendly staff. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely place outside the main street and beside the ruin of louis castle, the food is good and cheap but the best is the lovely waitress very kind and helpful tho she was very busy

Situated in front of the old castle wall, the seating area offers a great, sheltered place to sit with a cerveza or vino tinto and a few tapas. They frequently offer 4 tapas and cervezas/sangria for circa €10-€12; nothing fancy, just good honest tapas.

Wouldn’t recommend. We had dinner here and were told we couldn’t order the tapas and had to order plates. The food was very average and over priced. It’s also cash only. Maybe it’s better as a lunch spot?
