Dined here due to previous good reviews but experience was unfortunately very disappointing. Service was exceptionally slow and attention from waiting staff was poor. They made excuses re lack of staff but it was not terribly busy. Took 45 mins before food order was taken and about an hour before any food arrived. Had to ask 3 times before water was brought. Gambas pil pil arrived with no bread and when we asked for bread it was literally thrown onto the table 10 minutes later. One of the starters never arrived. The main courses were nice enough but it was so dark by this time we couldn’t see what we were eating! Wouldn’t return as there are many other places to eat around the port. Sadly one of my worst dining experiences in a long time.

This is some of the best food I’ve ever had. The sea bass was unreal and the tomato garlic salad blew my freaking mind. Get there early for seating as it fills up. Also just go, stop thinking about where to go and just go! Don’t even think about anything else! “Oh but I don’t know... what if I want some TAPAS somewhere else....” NO! I MADE UP YOUR MIND FOR YOU! THIS IS DELICIOUS AND FANCY AND ROMANTIC AND REASONABLY PRICED! SO STOP BEING LIKE “BUT RICK, WHAT IF I WANT SOMETHING WITH CHEESE? MAMMA WANTS SOME “QUESO!”” NO! YOU DONT WANT CHEESE! ONLY SEA BASS! GO TO AMURA AND FEEL👏THE👏MAGIC👏!!! LOOK AT MY PICTURES! SEE THE BASS? SEE, BASS? SEA BASS!!!! Sorry I called you a bass.

It was a highlight meal of ours back in May, so naturally we decided to return this visit in September. The food will not disappoint and the fresh fish specials of the day are just that landed on the day. We had a fish to share, but this time it was cooked then taken away for preparing off the bone, unsure why this time it was not done at the table as before, but it was delicious just took a bit of the theatre away from the meal! We were promised new potatoes which we were looking forward to but unfortunately it came out with fries. It is extremely popular so you need to accept that service can be slow and just chill out and relax. The fish was quite expensive but in these times of fuel prices etc I am sure it reflects the rising cost of supply. Unfortunately this time it did not meet or exceed expectations based upon our previous visit. But hey it was still one of the best meals we have had this visit so far and I suppose you can excuse a few rough edges after they have endured such a long tourist season I am sure.

By far the best restaurant in town if you want to eat fish. The have a large combination of species fresh from the sea. Next to the menu, you can ask for the daily specialties. The owner then explains which he has with a lot of passion. Desserts are freshly prepared and worth the extra calories. Staff is super friendly. I asked if I could keep some shells for my kids and they washed and packaged them immediately, without questions and with a smile. When they bill comes we were offered a drink from the house to finalize a perfect evening. We were so delighted that we went back a few times. Don't forget to reserve! It's the first en last restaurant at the port to have full tables.

Very nice, the owner specifies the menu at your table and suggests you for your choice. The salmon was delicious, perfectly made in a bag in cooked water. Thanks for all.

Every time we go to Marbella (at least 3 times a year) can't miss a visit to Amura, we are really looking forward to it. Definitely one of the best in fresh fish for very good and honest price at the Harbour of Estapona. Very kind hardworking owner and waitress! Highly recommend clams and also fresh fish like sea bass.

Delicious food in the Estepona harbor. The mussels from Galicia were epic. Kind service (speaking Spanish, English, French and some Italian... Bravo!). All the fish I tried was outstanding.

Had lunch here twice, what a wonderful find. We came with friends the first time and very much enjoyed it. Three days later we tried to book a table for the following Sunday but they were fully booked. We returned today with other friends, and had an equally warm welcome, the food was utterly delicious, the owners were as charming and helpful as previously. The husband is French and his wife is Polish and speak perfect English and Spanish. This is a gem, the food is fresh - presumably caught that day by the fishermen who sell their catches at the other end of the marina. Also everything is reasonably priced. My husband and I both highly recommend this delightful restaurant

The owner is very passionate about every single dish he serves. We’ve been here twice in a week and both times none of the dishes we’ve ordered disappointed. Highly recommend this place for the BEST seafood in Estepona!!!

👍 Nice spot "on" the beach literally. Very quick service and all very decent. Do like the Spanish...eat fancy late and you will enjoy. Oh, I am used to spicy (believe me, just check my profile and my whereabouts of the last 20 years)...but spicy was spicy!! Great !
