I'm not a burger person, too many disappointments, but that was fantastic! Every mouthful was as delicious as the first. The local cheese complements the meat perfectly, and the bbq sauce rounded it off wonderfully. It's definitely the best burger I've ever had. The burger sauce was amazing too.

The food is good. The reason for the 3 stars for food is because they are severely lacking in vegetarian options. They used to have 2 sandwiches a couple of months ago and had only one left for vegetarians the last time I went. Other than this, further improvements can be made to keep the food more consistent. The taste of food and the quality seems to differ a little each time we visit. The service is ok. Everyone does seem a bit morose but other than that, it's all ok. They take your order and bring it within a reasonable amount of time. But, they could improve on this of course. Atmosphere is great! I love the setting and the decor and think it is a huge positive for this place.

It is one of the best burger I ever tried in Africa. Their fries are unique, not oily, almost no salt. It is open kitchen, unique, full services and clean . I have tried most of their burgers and loved it. Fyi... the washroom extremely unique and above western standard.

Went to Sishu for a business lunch with my local IT vendor. We had to ask a construction worker for directions to the entrance. Fun spot for an American style burger with fries made with fresh ingredients in the open kitchen. I tried the vegan sandwich made with perfectly seasoned tofu filling including fresh avocado. Buy some fresh bread to take home with you to make your own sandwiches for lunch the next day!

I love Moyos, the food is great and the place is nice. Especially their Greek Burger & Zouvlaki are amazing. They also have great Lasagna and variety of Juice. I am deducting one star just for the fact that they also provide Keto meal program and if you go at lunch time and are not a member of the Keto diet program you may have to wait too long to get your orders. Went there more than 6 times within a month, Sishu's a unique place as its name is! My daughter gets excited every time we plan to go to Sishu, their burger is what she always looks forward to. Sishu apart from the food, your eyes will wander around looking at the artifacts and the best vintage materials exhibited there. Most of all the ambiance is spectacular! This is the best gourmet burgers joint in Addis, the sandwiches are exquisite. The atmosphere is authentic i.e it has a grunge warehouse feel to it. The place is creatively decorated, and although it's an open space each seating station is well positioned so you enjoy your privacy while still being part of the open ambience.. They have a couple of book corners which are not just for decoration; they are done seriously good books.

It is a very Nice and Ambient Place, the meat is fresh and halal while the bread is made fresh in house overall the taste is very nice. The prices are a little on the higher side but for the over all experience i will say its justified.

There is a massive construction going on right now, which makes access difficult. If you're willing to walk some blocks to get there you're up for a really cool atmosphere, sweet burger buns, with not so sweet ice tea 🍹

I haven't eaten at the restaurant but this is the place in Addis to buy your hamburger buns, ciabatta buns, and baguettes. In fact, I haven't had such a spot on baguette since we were in Paris...just the right ratio of crust to fluffy soft interior. They are closed Mondays. Edit: the hamburgers and service are great!

Steak sandwich, BBQ Burger, Butter Burger, Cheese Burger, and fries are all excellent. The bread is fresh baked and delicious. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. The atmosphere and furnishings are cool. The use of recycled and repurposed materials is inspiring. One of my favorite "foreige" spots.

It is very clean, the staff are very professional and their food is great. I had breakfast to try their food and it exceeded expectations and I went back the next day for a light meal and I was equally impressed with their food. I would definitely visit again when I'm in Addis Ababa and would recommend. The have a tiny balcony for one table which is great on a sunny day!!

Papaya juice was served warm and the foul was almost water and the pancakes took 50 minutes to arrive and the server just spent the whole time folding napkins and looking angry. It's not really advised specially if you are in a hurry!!!

I recently went to this restaurant after seeing/hearing multiple positive reviews about it online. I was really excited to try the “best burger in town”. I ordered the BBQ Burger while my boyfriend ordered the Sishu one. The waitress informed us that they’re not serving their burgers with cheese on that specific day, cause they run out (I guess). We said it was fine because we went all the way there to try their burger but in retrospect it wasn’t a good decision on our part since the total price for a burger without cheese, a beef patty served with only BBQ sauce and onions (my order); a beef patty with lettuce and tomatoes (my boyfriend’s order) with a side of a single bottle of sprite amounted to a staggering 1,340 birr. My disappointment with this place didn’t end with just the overpriced burger though…my boyfriend brought me cheesecake from my favorite spot in a takeaway box, the waitress that gave us our bill saw it and said “this is fine for today I won’t ask you to pay but normally we charge people with an extra service charge for meals brought in takeaway box from another cafe/restaurant” I thought this was unbelievable. In conclusion I though the burger was mediocre and small, you can find a very similar burger at Hibir at a way cheaper price.
