Our favorite italian pizza in town! Quattro fromage is good but I always go with the basic, Margherita or buffalo - basically little portion of buffalo mozzarella on Margherita, if i want extra cheese. Staffs are very kind. highly recommend!

I am a pizza aficionado. Mokodo serves a Napoleon style pizza with quality ingredients. Really enjoyed it. I am confident there is no better pizza spot in Addis Ababa. Coming from someone who’s had the pizzas of Napoli (considered best in the world), this is a great pizza. I highly recommend giving Mokodo a visit.

Finally I went to this most talked about pizza house and it was just...amaaazing! First bite and I was all emotional. To watch the chef cook your pizza right in front of you calmly and professionally ❤ I wish to see a lot of this in most pizza houses & restaurants in Addis. The place is small yet I liked it very much its quiet and calming. While everything was on point I only gave it 4 stars because First I think the service could improve a little. There was only 1 woman serving everybody and wasn't a professional one(in my opinion). Second because the place is closed every Tuesdays and on Sundays it isn't open till 6 which is sad, I mean c'mon...let us enjoy it all day, all week 😊. 👏🏼 Absolutely recommended!

Their pizza is so great. Their service is just as good. The place is always clean. Love coming here because I know I’ll never leave disappointed. If you haven’t been you totally should. I went there a few times during the Easter fast, and there was tasty vegan dishes for you to enjoy. Only thing is the place is quite small, so you can’t really have intimate conversations (this is not a place for you to meet ppl and try to discuss some drama).. hopefully everyone’s goes to Mokodo’s so they get an even bigger place (so we can discuss the drama)🙂

Didn't know a simple fasting vegetable pizza could taste this light and delicious. Loved the sauce too, I would suggest having a spicier option for spice lovers though. Overall, very nice, I recommend!👍

If I could give Mokodo Pizza 10 stars, I sure would!! 😋 It's the best pizza you will find in Addis Ababa! I picked the Quattro Formaggi or Four Cheese with additional buffalo mozarella topping. It had a crispy crust and was baked to perfection ! The chef, Mr. Tesfaye is utterly kind and generous and goes out of his way to treat you like family! They have an extensive selection of pizzas and accept only cash. Whether you're visiting Addis or live here, Mokodo Pizza should be your next stop!

Had many Pizzas in Italy, this one was even better than half of them. Can only recommend! The Restaurant is nice, the prices are ok and you have to try the Nutella Pizza

We LOVE Mokodo! We’ve only been in Addis Ababa for about 5 weeks and we already had Mokodo 4 times. It’s authentically made in an Italian brick oven. They have fasting/vegan options. Friendly services and to the point! We will be back for as long as we live here! Side note: we ordered via deliver Addis twice and it arrived 2 hours later and of course cold. We realize that it’s not the pizzeria’s issue so we recommend you head over there and have super fresh pizza!

Best pizza in addis by a landslide. Excellent crust, sauce, and cheese. Tastes like very authentic Italian style pizza here in addis, definitely worth the visit.

Mokodo pizza’s quality ingredients and taste on a level from 1 -10 is an easy double 20. One of the best pizzas hands down. I ordered the veggie fasting kind- but you can choose your own custom ingredients with cheese. Do not miss out!!👌

I’m sorry to write the review but I’m hoping someone will read it and do better. I’ve been ordering form here consistently for a while and the pizza keep getting worse. Today will be my last order. The pizza is flat as a ground. It looked like it’s been rolled but a roller. Italian pizza is stretched out by hand. It’s so flat that when they cook it it becomes dry and crunchy. The mozzarella instead of sprinkled is placed so much the pizza is completely covered in cheese you can’t even taste there tomato sauce. To the point that you feel like you’re chewing on dry cheese. How hard is it to make food pizza??? I don’t even think they take the dough through the proper fermentation processes. I think at this point they just mix the flour water yeast and just roll out it. Disappointed

Simply, the most authentic pizza in Ethiopia. Not even a question. I am from NY, and this is the closest I have had in East Africa! Even the chilly sauce was fire! Five Stars++

This place has the best pizza in Ethiopia easily, it reminds you of the proper Italian pizzas you get in Italy with the thin crust and what makes their pizza nicer is the homemade tomato base, you can really taste the difference compared to other pizza places in Addis Ababa

OMG it wouldn't be exaggerating if i say they have the best pizza in AA. So delicious. I recommend everyone to try it.
