I’ve known the owners of the gym for a few years now and something happened to me this past year that robbed me of my mobility and strength. I first met with one of their chiropractors (Emily) who had set me up with a fairly easy to follow but excellent program to get my muscles working again and after meeting with her for about over a month I started getting back into Personal Training with Sam, one of the personal trainers there. I think the best quality of a Trainer is that they understand your limits and make you challenge them. A month ago I had to use a resistance band and inclined blocks to do an assisted squat. Thanks to Sam’s dedication to my wellness I can do a squat fully unassisted and we’re ready to start adding weight onto my squat as well. I feel stronger (pun intended) everyday thanks to the work we’ve put in. And finally everyone I’ve met here is so friendly. They’re all here to see you succeed no matter what walk of life you’re from and they’re also there to let you know if you’re wrong. If you were considering even a consult with them I’d say go for it. I promise you won’t regret it.

I’ve been working out with Zach at Strong for over a year and am so thankful for the care he’s put into my workouts. Because of previous physical ailments and injuries he’s tailored my workouts. Am happy to say I’m getting stronger without triggering these previous injuries. I’ve learned a lot about myself and the community at Strong is so encouraging!

I've been training and rehabbing at Strong. for 5 months and my experience has been exceptional. The team and how they work together for their clients is amazing. Sam J. has been a wonderful trainer, his programming is always thoughtful and targeted to my needs, he's fun, friendly and encouraging. He's helped me achieve my strength goals while rehabbing my adductor and shoulder one week at time. I love going to my workouts for the exercise and the chats. Alex St. Pierre has been the absolute BEST chiropractor I have ever been to and the only practitioner who has been able to solve my "bad" shoulder in the past 4 years. I've seen a handful of chiro's, physios, trainers etc., and no one has been able to do anything permanent. Within the first session I already saw improvements and now at session 4, my shoulder is almost back to new. Combined with the weekly work I am doing in my training sessions, I feel great. I would never hesitate to go back to Strong. if I have another injury or training plateau to work through. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I’ve been training with John for a year and half and it's been a great experience. I’ve seen big improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall muscle tone. After years of working office jobs, it definitely took a toll on my body, and started limiting what I could do. Going into my 30s, I really wanted to focus on building my strength and finding the fun in working out so it wasn’t something I had to do but that I wanted to. John is very welcoming and encouraging in the gym space. He’s adaptable to any injuries, great at making modifications, and modelling/explaining the correct form and technique for each exercise. John is great at gently pushing me to try new things and reach new goals. He always infuses some humour into the workouts which I always appreciate. He knows how to match his client’s energy to help them feel at ease and succeed.

I had spent over 13 years at my previous gym, then immediately upon leaving I tried two new ones. Neither felt like my next “forever gym”. In some ways, they were just a bit sterile and formulaic. I knew something was missing. I remember sitting down with Ari, one of the owners of Strong back last February. We were trying to decide which trainer I should try. He said, “I think Meagan would be a good fit… she’s kind of quirky but I think you’ll like her”. Well, 8 months later I can confirm that Meagan is a phenomenal trainer as well as a lovely person… and yes, a bit quirky but in a very good way. In the last 8 months I’ve been going to Strong 3x per week and I truly love it. Other reviews mention how friendly the people are and without exception this is a great team of people. And I have learned so much in the past year about my body, my strengths as well as my weaknesses. Having personal training is not for the faint of heart or the faint of wallet. If you’re the sort of person that isn’t looking for the average “cookie cutter” gym I can whole heartedly recommend Strong Toronto. It may in fact be your “forever gym”, I know it’s mine.

Alex and the team at strong are a great group of clinicians who provide a top notch service. They are consummate professionals who make you feel welcome & take a collaborative approach to your needs. Highly recommend, especially if this is your first go at chiropractic or physiotherapy. Thanks for keeping me strong over the 10+ years!

Really great experience with STRONG. The team are highly knowledgable, friendly, and unpretentious. Zero "gym-bro" energy. Everyone I encountered made me feel totally welcome and comfortable as a fitness newbie with some anxiety about signing up. I actually enjoy going to the gym now. Fees feel very fair for the level of flexibility and personalized service they provide. Shoutout to Sam for being a great trainer 🙏 🙏

I can't say enough good things about Strong Gym and their exceptional staff. The coaches, especially Ari, are incredibly knowledgeable and have helped me achieve my fitness goals. Jyoti, the physiotherapist, played a crucial role in my recovery when I injured my back. Her expertise and guidance were instrumental in getting me back on my feet. The dedication of the entire team at Strong Gym is truly commendable. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to improve their fitness and receive top-notch care. Absolute Legends!

I love working with Coach Ari @ STRONG. He came highly recommended by a good friend and I could immediately see why. From day-1, he's worked to build a training routine that pushes, educates, and encourages me all while making it fun. In fact, all of the staff at the gym have a great mix of positivity, enthusiasm, and dedication. I happily recommend STRONG to anyone looking to improve their fitness and general wellbeing.

I have been working out at Strong with Rob for about 2 months now. I went there because I wanted to change up my fitness routine and get more comfortable with barbell lifting. I can honestly say I've been making a lot of progress in a short period of time and remained injury-free. Rob is a great trainer and pushes me but not so much so that I get hurt but enough so that I make steady progress week on week. It certainly isn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

Coach Ari is THE best! I've been working with him for almost two years and have seen amazing improvements. He knows just how to push you while still having fun. Love Strong Gym so much!

I’ve been working out at Strong for just over a year, and I’m so glad that I joined this personal training gym. It’s an incredibly fun and welcoming space to work out, and I truly look forward to the days that I get to spend time here. Before joining Strong, I always felt really awkward while working out on my own. I was unsure of what I was doing, I lacked confidence, and I was getting frustrated with my lack of progress. My personal training sessions with John have been life-changing. It has felt amazing to get stronger over the past 12 months. I could never have imagined myself doing deadlifts and bench presses, but John patiently taught me. We gradually increased the weights, and he encouraged me to keep pushing myself. I’ve learned some amazing exercise skills and techniques that will benefit me for life. Plus, John is just a lot of fun to talk to between sets! I can’t thank John enough for everything he’s done for me.

Went here before my 2 knee replacements and then went for physiotherapy after. I can’t say enough about how much Strong has helped in my recovery. All of the trainers I have worked with have been knowledgeable, listened to my input and most of all - they make working out fun !! I’m 63 and out of shape but I’ve never felt embarrassed or self conscious at Strong. I highly recommend this gym for anybody wanting to work out with a trainer or help recover from injuries or operations !! Just try it once and you’ll see what I mean !

I live in New York and had the pleasure of working out at Strong on a recent visit to Toronto. Calum was amazing, fun to workout with and super motivating. Our hour session together helped me get out of a fitness funk. I realized I've going to random workout classes without the individual care needed to get something out of it. Strong provided that 1-on-1 attention that ensures you get the most out of your workout and time. I will be back!

Alex has been by far the best chiropractor I've ever seen! I was originally seeing a physiotherapist for my back who never seemed quite capable of getting to the root cause of my issues. As soon as I started seeing Alex, his ability to look at problems holistically across the body, his consideration to take the time to really understand my feedback, and his patience to address all my questions and ensure I had a thorough understanding has made all the difference in the world. My back pain is completely gone! He is always willing to go above and beyond for his clients and makes sure there's a focus on sustainability which has been the most impactful parts of his treatments. I 100% will always recommend Alex to anyone who needs some help. I even recommended my own boyfriend start seeing him as well!

Dr. Alex St. Pierre listens, TRULY listens! His is not a one-size-fits-all approach. After a thorough exam he tailors exercises that suit the individual, and then prescribes a recommended number of repetitions and days to perform them. There are also follow-up emails. Refreshing! Feedback is encouraged to make sure that doctor and patient are in sync. If an exercise needs to be tweaked, he does that, sometimes via video. The physical work he has done with me has given me more flexibility and brought me relief. For the first time in five years, I feel as though someone is offering a targeted approach, and I am finally feeling some relief from chronic pain.

👍👍 I’ve been to many goodlifes and this was by far one of my favorite. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and I had a great time working out with my friend.
