One of the best pubs in Negombo.. Now they have renovated and it looks much better.. Bit more spacious.. Well there is nothing wow about the ambience other than it giving an English pub look.. But it's atmosphere is awesome.. A mixture of local and foreign guests.. You can have a wonderful time.. Food is also very decent and they have a good collection of beer.. If you are at Negombo.. Looking for a pub.. This is a can't miss..

The ambiance of this place is really nice. There are screens showing the latest sporting events and there is a good selection of music. The food and drinks here are great but I’d give this place most of the credit for the ambiance. Must visit.

By far one of the most exciting places in Negambo. What really struck me was how friendly this establishment was towards stray dogs. I saw a couple of dogs just casually making their way across the dance floor and in between tables. The fact that no chased them away on a busy night really filled my heart. The service was superb to say the least, no matter how busy it was, the waiters did above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time. The food was also really good. I would like to recommend honey glazed pork with mashed potatoes as a good choice.

This place is famous as a pub and restaurant. Visited a couple of times. But this time, I visited around 30th December. Pre booking is also available. It may be helpful. It's not a big space.but average space has. But the experience was bad We have ordered some food. Hot butter cuttlefish and mixed fried rice overcooked. Fried pork was good. Have a good beverage menu. But some items were out of the stock. Also, have a kid menu. But it's not ideal for kids. Music and dance floor there. The menu price is average, and service chargers apply. This place is ideal for friends' gatherings, but the atmosphere is not calm. Too much noisy.

I visit the rodeo pub for their 25th anniversary celebration. They had nicely organized the event. Their customer service is very good. I must say the food is very delicious. Overall we had a very good experience. Tbh... the reason I went there is because of Jaya Sri... As usual they gave a superb performance. Went there on 27th June 2022. It was not crowded as usual. Because of the crisis in Sri Lanka they had very few of the food items and the liquor which they have mentioned in their menu. Customer service is good but food was not as expected. I felt like there was no liquor in the cocktail. Prices were considerable to the situation in the country.

Me and my friends went to Rodeo to have a chilled Saturday eve and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was really good with locals and foreigners. Music wad the best. Their staff were really friendly a interactive. We had variety of food and one of their signature drinks “The Flaming Lamborghini” which was a new experience. Good place to hangout with your friends.

They do have wide range of beer, hard liquor, cocktails and mocking menu but some were not available on the day I visited. Atmosphere is great with live music and DJ. Crowd is decent with many foreigners and locals. There is no dedicated Parking so side of the road is the option. Service also good they check on you always. Food is maybe not the top notch and there are so much areas to grow.

What an awesome bar in Negombo. Service was excellent and the food was so good that we kept ordering. Reasonably priced menu and great atmosphere. Also a very safe environment to anyone who would walk in. Specially women ✌🏽

Yesterday we came and they were out of beef. That's fine, it happens. Today we called 20 minutes beforehand to check they had beef burgers and it was explicitly confirmed in good English that they had beef burgers, so we make our way here and they told us again that they were out of beef 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ . (Plus they still had beef burgers marked as available in delivery apps as well) Point is: they have a mess.

Chilled and vibrant at the same time. Food was decent. Call them prior and inquire about the happy hour or offers. If you wish to have hookah I recommend you go upstairs. If you wont to vibe with the band then stay downstairs. Price was relatively reasonable.

This pub is one of Best places to hangout with friends. The atmosphere in the pub is awesome since it's crowded and the music. This place is popular with tourists. They have the best seafood I have tried. We took a seafood platter with lobsters and Crabs. That was the surprisingly good comparing to other places. If u are visiting this place try this seafood platter with the drinks

Rodeo is such an awesome place to hangout with your friends, Both Band and DJ doing a great job when it comes to entertaining. and food is beyond delicious level & portion is worth for money. I'm highly recommending the place. just go and have a visit.

One of the oldest Pubs on the Hotel Road, Negombo. Nice interior with high benches. They have a DJ and a small dancing floor. Service is quite good and the prices are on the high side. As the seating capacity is limited, prior reservation is recommended. Road side parking available.

The food was really good and they took less time to serve. Also, they got soft and hard liquor as well. The vibe is good, they have two floors, and you can go upstairs if you wanna have your meal in a less noisy place as the DJ is on the ground floor.

Greatly disappointed with the seafood platter. The ingredients were not fresh, specially the lobster. One of my colleague got food poisoning after the meal. Pepper chicken was okay, served with mashed potato. You can get hookah here. Visited on a Sunday but the atmosphere was also dull. Will not recommended for a good time 😕

I've heard it's a great place for drinks, but it wasn't my favorite for lunch. The staff was nice. But the day was hot and without a breeze left us pretty steamy in there. We went for lunch time so it was pretty hot outside. I'd go back for a beer and hookha but maybe eat first.

Rodeos Pub is located in the Negombo beach road and very convenient to find the place. I would recommend the fresh seafood platter and their signature cocktails. The staff is very friendly and very professional. You see a lot of foreigners and locals with different ethnicities and supports diversity and the place is a must to visit. Love the live music and the DJ. This place is the best to party hard and dance in the area.

The DJ rolls out some nice tracks. Been there on a weekday, was a complete men's night!!! Cocktails are nice and potent. Food also was good. Other reviews speak of a tourist meet locals spot, but it was just a locals only night.

It is a good place to go and chill with some friends. Food is very tasty and they are worth the money. Compared to a lot of restaurants these days this place has cheaper food and beverages especially cocktails. Chicken wings and Roasted bread with pol sambal and pork curry are some dishes we have everytime we go there. However they lack vegetarian items in their menu which need to be considered if you are going here. They don't even have mushroom for vegetarians. Also their Rodeo special fries are not like French fries, they are too fat and we didn't enjoy it.

I faced a little issue there. I went on 28th of February 2020. i ordered 2 Savanna Cider. In the bottle they have cut off the best before day. Anyways the best before day was 201#. Most probably 2019 i guess not sure. I asked about that from an employee he didn't give me a clear answer on that

First time to Negombo Recommended to us by our Sri Lankan family. We didn't eat here just had drinks which were ice cold and watched our first sun set from the seating area upstairs. Attentive staff, would go back.

Pub like no others

The best crab curry i ever had in srilanka. Rs 1500/= the portion and enough for 2 people. 2 medium size crabs cooked in srilankan spices, coconut sambol and about 8 slices of bread are included in a portion . Highly recommended .

It's bar and restaurant. They have many kinds of wisky and other alcohole. And the price is not expensive if it's in the other developed countries. If it's compared to the local, then very expensive. Anyway the chilli crab was tasty but it's very difficult to eat, so it make your hand chilli hands Lol.

This is kind of like the most happening places in the beach road. People from all over the world can be seen any time. They are the first to introduce pub type concepts to Negombo. 1st time went after they refurbished. The place is super cool. The staff is very friendly and most of them have been there since the beginning, which indicates the quality of management. The food quality has never changed. A bit too loud and crowded as for me. And in cocktail that I got there was very few of alcohol, it seemed like I was drinking juice. Food is pretty good, we didn't wait for too long.The place is pricy as expected for touristy area. They have a huge screen for watching sports. It's very hot indoors.

this is one of the best bar around the area that you can hang out with your friends and even by yourself, good liqor and reasonable good food, prices are ok, nice stuff, very nice athmosphere and there is a small dancing area

Actually I can't give review to this place to be honest because when you are pretty much high, you feel the surrounding is really ok. Also, I have never been to many places like this like clubs or pubs what ever you want to call them, so it's not fare for me to review this. But this is little place where you can hang out with your friends in a long night in Negombo. Clauses around 3 a.m. and it's enough to have a good time there. I have no idea about the surroundings because we went there at about 12 midnight. Most of the people were locals but I saw some foreigners enjoying the time too. So I think it's up to you to make it your place. We really enjoy the time with the drinks, food and the dance floor.

The place is not chic and friendly. A disaster that is not worth of going. Manager is like really unfriendly and rude. I was honestly disappointed with his unprofessional behavior. The owner must be really desperate to let someone like that to manage his business. Will definitely put a complain with the tourist board of Sri Lanka.

Awesome upbeat change. The cowboy decor is festive, yet savvy. Wide array of menu selections, cocktails and drink specials. Chose the Thai red curry prawns with pol sambola. Outlandish, delicious spicy. Husband enjoyed a filet, medium rare, which melted in his mouth. This was my 41st day in Sri Lanka, and it was a wholesome change up. Staff is super friendly and sincerely want you to enjoy the experience.
