The bar has live bands on weekends. Has a dance floor. They have good drinks with reasonable prices. The cocktail waitresses and bartender are friendly. The Embers bar has been there for decades and has a loyal following of patrons. Everybody there was extremely friendly and welcoming. The parking lot is shot and needs to be replaced but there's lots of space. The door into the bar is not handicapped accessible unless someone opens and holds the door for you which someone did every time-the people of Eugene are extremely helpful and friendly. Was not impressed with Embers health standards when I went there for dinner Saturday 29th. As I was waiting for my broasted chicken dinner, a guy in street clothes had his mutt wandering around in the bar from front to back, THEN he decides to take his dog with him to the back kitchen and hang out with his buddies! That did it for me, a dog allowed to hang out back in the kitchen and cooks petting him while cooking my food. I talked with the nice young lady waiting on me about it and she agreed, she said she noticed him going back with his dog too and SAID she would discuss this with the owner. Just sayin, comon - I pay a good price for bar meal there and I don't appreciate the compromise of dog licks or hair potentially touching my high priced food at a restaurant. Wont be eating there again.

Place was good, bigger than it looks. It looks like they have a couple signature dishes, see pictures and get the emberized. Menu is big. Taps are Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, Widmer hef, Sweet As, Boneyard RPM, Citrus Misstress, and a Cider. Looks like they do live music here but I don't know what days. Cheers.

Good breakfast place, poor dinner choice if you want to eat in the diner during nights with live entertainment. The wait staff leans towards the bar crowd because that's where the tips are. My service was slow and once I received my meal I never saw my waitress until I got the ticket.

We had an awesome experience here, we drove 13 hours from Boise Idaho on vacation when United Airlines grounded us and we ended up driving straight to get home. We found this gem when the roads iced over, the wood paneling and old school atmosphere was just what we needed after a 20 hour day. The 'regulars' were cool and invited us right in. Great food and a great atmosphere. Our server/bartender was Leyleh was great and always kept the drinks coming and always checked on us. I highly recommend this for anyone 21 and up

The Embers is a good bar. This bar has always gotten lively, and fun. I believe they have live music once a week, and they have karaoke tonite as well. The food is always good at The Embers.

Everything you'd expect from a low key bar. The service was good, the omelette was fantastic, the coffee was terrible. Would definitely go back:)

As I dig through the map on my sales trips, I’m always on the lookout for something different. The fact that this place had finger steaks and I haven’t had them in…. Forever sure helped my decision. The place looks rundown from the outside but it was kept clean inside. It wasn’t anything special regarding decor but it is a bar / diner, so I wasn’t expecting a lot. Their menu had a lot more on it than I would have figured considering the kind of place that it is. Usually they are limited. But they had a large variety. I did of course order the finger steaks and TOTS (duh) LOL. TOTS, we’re cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The finger steaks were tender and not tough or chewy. The flavor was good but I kept using this chipotle or pepper aioli that they had which was delicious. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Though they had a light staff as she had to keep going back to wash dishes. I was there during the day, so I can’t speak to any of the nightlife or evening entertainment. But they had a chalk calendar that seemed full for the month.

I have been going here for years and love the people that have become regular fixtures here. Live music and karaoke weekly creates a fun place to go and hang out. This is mostly a older group of people ranging from 49 - 99 years young.

We love to dance and Red Thunder provides great music! The food is good. My only negative was the last bartender did not make a good drink. I will return. Perhaps it was a new bartender or he was having an off day. I recommend this establishment!

It's a good place to have a drink and some food.. Service was friendly. Prices were good. Food was really good. And good portions. Try the sidewinder fries. They're delicious. Will definitely be going back again, soon.

We had lots of fun playing the trivia game. Although we came in last place, we didn't necessarily lose, because last place gets to pick the category for the next trivia game night. Our server was very good and really friendly, she always had a smile and was attentive and punctual to everything. The food was good and filling, my girlfriend and I shared a "Fish & Chips" and still had some leftovers 🤤 My only reason for the 4 ⭐ is because of the "obviously homeless" person who came in to get out of the rain and decided to come over to our table and slyly made his way into the conversation and "in my opinion" was hoping to look like he was with us so he wouldn't be kicked back out into the rain. (🤷🏼‍♂️ That's the vibe I was getting from him anyway). All in all, I would recommend Embers and I do plan on going back.

I was listening to people sitting at the bar complaining about the service. I have no complaints about the service I had. Didn't eat here so I have no idea about the food.

I love to go here and have a breakfast and lunch. I'm not much for the night time crowds anymore but I love the the good down home cooking. Nice chunky sausage gravy and the chicken fried steak. And the liver and onions with bacon on top is some of the best I've ever had.

Great food! Big portions, breakfast served all day. Good alcoholic drinks, gaming. Sometimes the music is too loud, but they are good about lowering the decibal level on the speaker near you if you ask.

Red Thunder band is FIRE ! My first visit I walked into a room full of friends I didn't know existed. From the staff to the patrons, and the house band "Red Thunder" I ain't no spring chicken, so I know a good thing when I see it. And this place and the fine folks in it is the real deal. You owe it to yourself to check it out.

I love this place! I cannot say anything bad at all. Parking I thought was going to be an issue, but it's not. There's more parking along the side & back of Embers. They have live music which is the best. I know "The Survivors" that play at Embers every 3rd weekend of the month & they are just about as spectacular as you could imagine & I'm not just saying that cause I know them. I say that cause they really are the best band I've heard & they play at Embers which has the BEST food EVER!!!

Found some sugar in a tiny plastic baggie on hwy 99. I put that ground score in my morning coffee. Stuff made me want to touch video lottery machines. like i had magic fingers.. That were gonna help me hit the big one. So, i decided to check out the embers. And i lost my entire social security check. Should have known it was a bad idea when i walked in and all i could smell was goldbond and vicks vapor rub.

The staff is super friendly and the food was pretty good. The place seems very worn and needs to be updated.

Friendly energetic ladies keep the place drinking. Good crowd kept the energy flowing Serve food I didn't indulge myself but seemed popular with the regulars. I left with more than I came in with remember gamble responsible.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it makes up for it inside with good food good people and a HomeTown atmosphere. I usually get the same thing every time I'm there and it's the chicken fried steak dinner which always satisfies and leaves me full and thankful for choosing that entree. Sometimes I try the special and have never been disappointed anything from enchiladas to ribs they always seem to put together a nice meal that reminds me of a wholesome dinner from home. Sometimes there is karaoke or live entertainment which is never overbearing and oftentimes a draw for a good crowd. The staff is always been very friendly and attentive and good at their duties. I wouldn't expect something fancy when going to the embers but I never leave there thinking that I've done anything but pay for a good time and food. Drinks are strong and they'll keep coming as long as you're sober enough to order one which is just about right

Breakfast was very good. Large portions. Layout is very 60's or 70's. Needs some tlc in the dining room. Service was super friendly and fast. Big sign out front says breakfast all day long, starting at 7AM. Got there at 7 and they don't open until 8. Need to take the 7 AM sign down.

Super sad about this. But waited way way to long to get our order. Which never came. Waited over 30mins. So we left. They weren’t even busy. Barely anyone there. Then the lady that gave us our seats and menu was acting crazy high. Going back and forth not even doing anything. Just walked around not even trying to take our order. We even tried to get her attention and just ignored us. She was high on something and it was very obvious.

It's a cool place to hangout and listen to a live band. The only thing that gets me is the price for food there. Super spendy for ok food in my opinion.
