Well I don't even know what to say, except all 3 of our MINDS ARE OFFICIALLY BLOWN! Today was our first time here. The flavors, the tastes, the aromas, the textures, the shapes, the crew, the presentation, the prices, the environment! How does one even begin to describe, the extreme pleasure of the exquisitely prepared food here? One doesn't describe it! SO, get yer doggone selves over here & support local, support quality and support your deserving palate! I have one word: Phenomenal ♡

Have driven by this establishment numerous times but every time my husband and I go out to eat it just falls off my radar. As I've stated before in another review my MIL is part of the foodies group on Facebook and she saw a few posts where this establishment was being recommended. So one day my husband, MIL, and me decided to eat here. Menus are available at the front upon entry and you choose where you want to sit. There is seating inside and outside. No smoking inside or outside, which we appreciated very much. Upon sitting after looking over the menu you head back inside to place your order at the counter. They have a taplist, cocktail list, and whiskey list as well as other options that are non-alcoholic. We just chose water and there is a self serve water station inside. After looking over the menu, everything literally sounds amazing but I had never had a Reuben before, always wanted to try but never did. Elkhorn's Brewhaus Reuben is mouth watering goodness. House smoked and cured pastrami on toasted caraway bread, with melted Swiss, remoulade, and purple stout kraut with a side of smoked pickles. All burgers and sandwiches are served with house chips but I wanted fries which is an upcharge of $2. For sauce I got ranch and I don't know what they put in it, but I want a bottle of it, it's amazing! My MIL got a side of their stout BBQ sauce and it's amazing too, reminded me of my father's homemade BBQ sauce. Please come here; bring your family, kids, friends, a date, or yourself. Great service and amazing food that will leave you full and satisfied. Came back on 8/5/22 and got the Maker's Mark Bacon & Blue burger. Amazing food both times!

This place has so much potential! I looks really cool on the outside and the inside is almost just as cool. A few things were bad though. The staff was really nice and explained what to do when we got in. Take a menu, find a seat, come to the window to order. Most of the menus I picked up were filthy, so I settled for the best I could find. The ordering process was smooth and they gave good beer samples to help me select. However, after ordering we waited probably 30 minutes to get the food. Enough time to play some phone games lol. We were a group of two with only another group of 4 who hadn't ordered food yet. As we waited, we enjoyed the music and vibes in the space. The game shelf and arcade games seemed a bit of an eye sore, but I'm sure the owner gets some players in order to make enough money to incentivise keeping them. As we were listening to music, the audio suddenly changed to very loud football color commentary. Unnecessarily loud for probably the 1 person who wanted to watch in the restaurant at that moment (a worker?). We had to talk very loudly to hear each other. I didn't care about the game so it was pretty annoying lol. Those who want to watch should be able to by watching it muted with subtitles. That's what most places do. Again, that's just my preference. When we got our food, it was all cold to the touch. Burgers, cold. Fries, cold. Chips, cold (you'd think fresh house made chips would be warm). I assume it took 30 minutes to get our food to help let our food cool down. Unfortunately, I like my food warm. The elk burger I got was also pretty pink. I don't mind, but when the menu says medium rare, I don't want rare. In their defense, it was only half the burger (which I'm not sure how that is possible). We also had no napkins and no water. The water was probably my fault as I ordered beer at the counter. You'd think they'd ask if they saw someone at the table without a drink as they drop off the food though. Getting a water and napkins meant I had to stand in line for 10 minutes in line (now long) for simple items. Most breweries where you get up and order at the counter have big water jug to help ourselves. Sometimes napkins are out as well. Just some little things. All-in-all, this could be a fantastic place. I probably won't be returning unless it's a good daily deal and the food is warm!

Had ordered a burger with dirty fries an got a huge plate of dirty fries I was wondering why my bill was $65. The owner needs to get this taken care of. I have eaten here before and ordered this burger before and never has it came with two patties that were not even cooked right.

A great locally owned brewpub that serves up great southern dishes. I had the Tri tip sandwich with okra. My wife had the BLAT ( bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) sandwich and beer cheese soup. Both meals were delicious 😋. We both had the lemon lavender 💜 soda as well.

Atmosphere was fun and boisterous with a lot of college kids. The beer and food was delicious!!! We had the trio of sliders and the moo & blue salad with a flight of five different beers. Our favorite beers were Sasquatch's Shadow, an oatmeal stout, and Velvet Antler, an Irish red. Would love to go back and have the same meal 😋

Meh. There were literally five servers and it still took over 30 minutes to get a fried pickle appetizer. When's we walked in, two servers were in break but they went back to work soon after. I think they only had one cook!? It took forever to get A FREAKING APPETIZER. I pretty much was just ready to leave at that point. That's just sad imo, and they want you to pre-tip when you pay, before you don't know how slow the service is . Not impressed at all. It's also very expensive here, a cocktail is $12. That's nuts. We came around 3pm on a Sunday. They obviously don't have enough cooks. This place looks great inside and is clean. The cocktail we ordered was decent and came within five minutes. However, it appears to be all show, no go. Don't order food you will wait forever. The food we got was not even great. We only got fried pickles. It took about 30 minutes and they weren't even battered enough or crunchy. I've included a picture.

Awesome place and a must visit if you're in the area! The layout and decor is awesome and feels welcoming and the menu has a wide variety of options. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They even checked on us several times to make sure we had what we needed. The food came out very fast and was AMAAAAZING! So delicious! Fries, lava curds fried pickles, sliders and Elk burger were unbeatable! Great flavor and tasted fresh. They also have a good variety of places to sit and the outdoor area was perfect today. We had met the owners last year on vacation and they told us about their brewery so since we were in Eugene we finally got to try it and will definitely be eating here every time we come to town. You have to give them a try, they do not disappoint!

We decided to give this local business another chance. Last time we were in we waited for our food for an hour and five minutes. The catfish was good and the employees were apologetic. This last Saturday night we decided to try again because we love catfish and there aren't many places in Eugene that serve it. We got there around 7pm. There was one other person in line ahead of us and the restaurant didn't seem extremely business for a Saturday game-day. We ordered our catfish and waited...and waited. We asked about it 40 minutes later and we were told that our ticket was next. We waited another 10 minutes and I went up to the window to find out if our food was ready. I was told "they are just plating it". After another 10 minutes I asked another employee and she said " we are just waiting on the catfish" So clearly they were not "plating it". At that point we had waited one hour for our food. The employee said they could refund our money. I asked them to do that and she immediately rolled her eyes. When we asked to talk to the manager, we recognized her as the employee standing in front of the register talking to customers (her friends) while the line behind us grew. She came over and offered to box our food up to go but we said we just wanted our money back. I suggested that the employees let customers know if there is going to be an hour and fifteen minute wait for food. Another man there was clearly just as frustrated as we were. Needless to say, as much as we liked the catfish, we will not be back and we will not be able to recommend this locally owned restaurant to others. Very disappointing.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and best of all reasonably priced food. They have a friendly wait staff so I would recommend this place to just about anyone. Can't wait to go back.

Stopped by to eat before Jeff Dunham show. What a great atmosphere and wonderful cocktail and beer list. The wife and I got the Cajun sandwich and I got the Nashville hot chicken. Both meals tasted great but the Nashville hot chicken wasn’t spicy at all.

We love Elk Horn Brewery. it's a great family friendly brewery with fantastic beer and cocktails and food to go along with it. Downstairs is perfect for families with a small play area, pinball machine, board games, and shuffle board. Every time we go to Eugene we have to go to Elk Horn!

Nicely decorated brew pub near the U of O campus. Friendly service. We had the catfish po boy with fried pickles and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. Both were excellent. Be warned, though, the chicken is hot, hot, hot! The beers were good too.

We really enjoyed Elk Horn Brewery. If you are in Eugene, or doing anything on campus, this is a great place to catch a brew, food or the game. Great food and drink, cool atmosphere! The beer selection is quality, endless IPA options, porters and Wheat beers. They have a super creative mixed drink menu also which comes in handy on a hot day. The food we had was really delicious. With Cajun inspiration across the board, the PoBoy and Cajun Chicken are amazing. I had the Reuben with tots and wish I bought two to take home with me. Incredibly good. Also, I had the Fried Pickle Frickles. Awesome! They also have a great outdoor patio. But if you are looking for more peace and quiet, be warned a multi story building is being built next door across the street. Lots of hammering and noise. Just order an additional beer and you will be fine! ;-)

Great food, awesome vibe, and the beer was on point. Different set up by you order at the counter and find your seat. Food was quick to come out and the waitstaff did check on us which was great since our table needed more beer of course. You can pay or start a tab which is convenient. The only thing that was not a table favorite was the fries. They were shoe string fries which We love but were very short, really thin, and cold. 100% will come here again!

We stopped by here on the way home for a quick beer. We both had the Baywatch hefe which was super light and easy to drink. Very refreshing on such a hot day! We sat outside on the patio which was dog friendly. It was well shaded and cool.

We were visiting from out of state and decided to meet up with family here. The atmosphere is really nice and the food was amazing. We used to live in the area and my burger was probably the best burger I’ve had in the Eugene area. It was delicious and this will be a go to when we are back to visit again. Beers were also great.
