Has long been my go-to place for fresh (key word... and it's even in the name) for fast, well made food. The Coburg Rd store has, however, repeatedly failed us... from order errors (they happen, but here, a lot) to bad food. One order was missing an entire platter, which we noticed when we got home. We called the "manager" (turns out she's not), who spent a LOT of energy insisting I got everything I ordered (all in one large bag, receipt shows one order set, containers unpacked show another. Magic?). But she was adamant that the order was correct (her rationale was because she had packed it herself... so, infallible?). Eventually she agreed to refund the missing $8 item. That never happened. So, I used the corporate website to share my concerns, but the online form just throws it over the wall to the local store-- I suppose that keeps corporate hands clean as their franchisees damage their brand. Weird business model, for sure. Anyway, I did have a phone conversation with Luis Flores, the franchise owner, who said all the right things (the words), but never followed through on the refund, or the offer to remake the order from my original receipt by presenting to store staff (the deeds) for his part, he wasn't actually at the store when I tried to do this but was turned away like I had a 3rd eye in the middle of my head. I followed up with him by phone with all the info above... and a picture of some guacamole I received at next (paying) visit. I've shared it with the world here to get your taste buds going.

Used to love this place...until I witnessed the most unsanitary and disgusting food handling practice with an order I placed. In the end they refunded my money for my tainted steak quesadilla which I would not eat but not before the lady at the counter with the inappropriate red shirt that read "Naughty" on it said " I don't know how to do a refund and my Manager is busy"....Ruse and ghetto. The manager was very passive when refunding me. He gave no apology whatsoever for the inconvenience and didn't at all care to save the experience. Very disappointing. I won't be coming back to this location.

One thing that has absolutely exploded in the PNW within recent years (without a doubt) is the food scene. And while there is nothing particularly wrong with Baja Fresh... The chain just has a hard time standing up against local favorites which usually have them beat on both cost, flavor, and value. That being said, the staff is very very polite and the restaurant itself is kept clean & tidy. 2.8 out of 3 Stars.

The food is always great, but recently, I have had really bad experiences with the customer service. Before a few weeks ago, I had never had any problems, everybody was always kind and attentive. Now, I always get the same girl that acts as if I am an annoyance and is never kind. I think I’ll stay away for a while.

Food was just fair. The chicken was dry the ingredients were pretty bland. Definitely not anything special. The girl at thw counter was very pleasant and helpful in helping me decide what i was going to try. I took my food to go as it was super cold in there. They dont have heat and it seems as its been that way for a while. The staff was bundled up and obviously cold.

Worst experience ever. We froze from the minute we walked in and was told the heat was broke. Customers told us, that is how it always is anymore. They take their food to go on purpose. Wow. The food was cold before we could even eat it. And wasn’t as good as I remember. The fish in my dish was hard like it been frozen for a while…won’t be going back soon.

We used to love this place. Now, rats. We ate outside and they were crawling in the fountain and climbing through the vines. One stared at us longer than normal. Inside looked dirty, some flies, filthy floor, unkept bathroom. The employees were friendly. The food is overpriced, but it tasted good until the guy sitting in the corner table pointed out to his wife that there was a rodent problem. Will never go back.

I like baja fresh! Its clean, fresh and consistently reliable food. It definitely has its place for our quick dining meals for aure.

Had to give back sons food because his burrito was cold, the only way that could happened if they used an old burrito. But sent it back they remade it and it was hot. There machine wasn't accepting promos so I couldn't use my discount.

the amazing food is the only thing keeping this place alive. Outside, every single chair has bird sh*t on them.

Yummy chicken tacos! We had Baja Fresh cater our company lunch today, and it was delish! Thank you for the great lunch.

The cashier was friendly however this place has gotten ridiculously overpriced. I remember when I could get a plate of 3 tacos for like 12 bucks. Now it’s almost 20. The food is tasty but not worth it tbh

Food was really good. Could've had more meat in the orders that had it. But was great food. The floor didn't seem like they had swept it in awhile. Bathrooms have codes only open to customers. Sauces were great. Awesome serving size portions.

Just saw someone post on Facebook about finding a Razor blade in their food from Bajas apple slicer. The food was served to a TWO YEAR OLD CHILD with a razor blade in it!!!! Ridiculous.

Very disappointing. The food was not very tasty and none of the Salsas had much flavor. I would choose Chipotle over this place any day!

We ordered our food, received it, sat down, and were eating before anyone mentioned that there was no eating inside. We were trying to have a night out and due to health cannot eat outside. No one even apologized. They were just rude. I felt very cheated.

We always stop here while in town. Great service and fresh food. Great salsa bar. Staff is always friendly.

Tried to go in for my birthday reward since I couldn’t do it online, when I asked for it the person at the register was a bit rude about it and said there was nothing, I told them that I tried online and couldn’t and they still said there’s nothing and continued to say the total, very disappointing to see the lack of initiative, the reward is in my account but somehow can’t use it. I loved Baja Fresh but this has just turned me away.

Fresh is a great description! You can hear the chef making your guacamole to order with the mortar and pestle! Big filling portions you can take home for lunch the next day. Chicken is seasoned well and juicy. Amazing selection of fresh handmade salsas! Price wise they are more expensive then you might expect. About $50 for two people to get a meal each, an appetizer to share, and two drinks, plus tip.

Free Birthday Burrito! I ate it all gone, sorry folks. I'll do better next time & get photos. Lol. Such nice folks, very large menu, generous portions & fabulous food. Oh, did I mention the best Mango Salsa in the World? Yep!

Haven't had access to a Baja Fresh in 14 years. My visit didn't disappoint. Carnitas Baja burrito was my choice with roasted salsa. Yummy memories.

Very very disappointing. Didn't get what I ordered. Couldn't eat what I got. Cook was already yelling at the staff for messing up orders. Been a customer for a long time but no more. Not that difficult. Understand that it happens but seems to be a pattern.

SO. GOOD. Took my daughters, husband, and 90 year old mother in law, who has never been here. We ate every single bite, and MIL can't stop raving about how it's her favorite Mexican restaurant EVER. Clean, friendly, with a beautiful vine covered outdoor eating area. So glad we stopped in.

Always reliable. The best chain Mexican restaurant. If you've never been, check it out. I recommend either the Baja or Ultimo Burrito with grilled wahoo. Make sure to try all of their salsas.

The menu has changed since I last went to this place but they still had my fajita burrito in their register. As always it was very tasty! The salsas are now in prefilled cups but are still available and the fountain drinks are open with a sign to use sanitizer before dispensing. I miss the salsa bar...hoping it returns in the future.

Got food here for the first time with my girlfriend. The service was friendly, but the food was not good. Got the Mexicano burrito. It was probably 80% rice. The steak tasted gross like it was soaked in fat, could only take a couple bites. The burrito was dry and didn't come with sour cream. Had to pay 1.50 extra for it. Probably won't be going to this place again.
