Great park to take a walk with my dog. A good place for kids, tennis courts, soccer fields.Big attraction is the lake and small waterfall .

Would give it higher rating, but this place needs a clean up. Quiet times catching fish in a cloudy, stained pond is most relaxing. Too many water fowl, but what can you do about that?

Park was decent. There were geese and they hissed at me as I walked past. Also I ran for a mile and a half because there were mile markers.

We recently moved out of Evanston. Our baby and we are missing this park. Chasing the ducks to the pond and feeding them grapes were our baby's favorite activities, not to mention the play areas equipped with slides, swings etc.

Only caught some bullhead. Read online article from 2015 stating it was stocked with Bass and Bluegills too, didn't see any of those. Has bathroom facilities. Catch & Release only

Lovely park, clean bathroom wonderful tennis and pickle ball courts. It does have a picnic area and is dog friendly.

Great place for a toddler birthday party. Nice shaded section in beautiful park. 30 seconds to walk to lovely lagoon...so I'd advise an appropriate adult:toddler ratio. Geese make it even more lovely...but less advisable to wear nice shoes. Brick and mortar bathroom is spotless.

Good place for sledding, taking a walk. Tennis courts, small pond that you can fish in, but only catch and release. Lots of duck and geese in the pond so there is a huge amount of geese poop in the summer around the pond.

It's a peaceful park with lots of green space, a pavilion, and a decent medium sized playground. We go there for some kids races and the parking isn't really adequate for larger events like that.

Great park for kids to play. Has a nice snow sledding hill in winter. Basketball courts. Soccer fields. Tennis or pickle courts. Fishing pond. Nice walk path too.

This park tucked away on the edge of town is one of the best secrets in Evanston. Lovelace has it all. Soccer fields, tennis courts, large pavilions, and a great duck pond with newly updated path. Plus the biggest "hills" in town outside Mt. Trashmore! Parking lot is nice but will get full for soccer games.I hope the city is planning to continue with the modernization and update the on-site facilities. More trashcans are needed as well as new drinking fountains with dog bowls.

A gorgeous park with a nice pond, fountain, ducks flying about and very hilly. Good for a jog and plenty of grass to lie around. A little creepy at nighttime.

Nice park in north Evanston area. Has a lot, but street parking is a few blocks away. Good kiddie playground.

A great place to sit for lunch in the covered picnic area, then go for a nice walk on the path around the pond teeming with ducks and geese. A very Family-friendly place to enjoy a sunny Summer afternoon. Lovelace Park...Lovely park!

For the money that is surrounding this neighborhood, this neighborhood park is in need of mass repair everywhere. It needs a total redo of all the kids areas that's all the way true. Honestly, even though I live 5 minutes away, I never frequent this place, ever. My son takes me there to drop them off for sledding and that's about it.... Great location, dilapidated all the way though.
