😠 THIS SURGERY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!! Lack of empathy, they are VERY neglectful and have a lot to answer for. I urge you to transfer if you are with them. Rude receptionists if you don’t like your job then change or just create one for yourselves. We do not come to the GP for fun, we come there for... THIS SURGERY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!! Lack of empathy, they are VERY neglectful and have a lot to answer for. I urge you to transfer if you are with them. Rude receptionists if you don’t like your job then change or just create one for yourselves. We do not come to the GP for fun, we come there for help. Get some training and know how and when to really help someone when they are desperately asking for it. Unfortunately there’s no option for ZERO stars!

I have never experienced such a terrible experience from a supposed NHS service. I have been waiting almost 2 months for important test results which I was told I would receive by post. When I received nothing after a month I called for them to tell me that they’ve had my test results but nobody had thought to inform me? I booked an appointment with the nurse to discuss these over the phone, yet nobody called me on my appointment time and when I tried to call the surgery they had already closed by this time so why was I given an appointment when they weren’t there?!!! I called back the next morning for them just to say ‘the nurse wasn’t actually in that day’ so why did nobody bother to call me and tell me to reschedule? I am STILL trying to get a telephone appointment to discuss these results 6 weeks later and I can’t even explain how beyond distressing this whole experience has been for me. A full formal complaint has been submitted, nobody should ever be treated by this by a doctors surgery.

customer service has dramitically declined. They happen to be texting non stop which is annoying to the max. Problem with hospital appointment found out they had not received any referral last week..Why do your admin team tell us to call the hospital if you have not done your job?

Awful. Patients are not important at all. Very slow and unhelpful reception staff. Very long waiting time on the phone, you will typically be on hold for 40 mins as a standard starting time. Leave this GP if you can. Do not waste your health depending on this GP practice. I can't say it enough please leave if you can!!

Horrific service. Waited an hour to book a telephone appointment and doctor refused to treat me fully, saying he had an influx of other people to see (probably because he made the same patients call back for different issues) and implied he didn’t care and was looking forward to going home. After I gave him aid to help identify the issue from symptoms since he could not label the problem independently, he then proceeded to give the the wrong medicine. I took all of it. I have the worst side effects possible and now can’t book an appointment until Friday. Not only was I not treated I was given something worse .

The millionth time I’ve been Number 1-3 in the call queue yet have literally been on hold for 2+ hours- told to call back at 12, exactly the same. Last time I was on hold all afternoon until the gp closed. Not blaming the staff but it’s incredibly frustrating especially as I’ve been off my meds for 3 weeks because I can literally never get through to reception let alone to book an appointment - of which is also seemingly impossible

Customer service is poor. Staff are not helpful, they drag their feet when you make request. When you call, after 2 mins the automated machine tells you you've been waiting for more than 15mins, which is incorrect, it then tells you to call back later, if you continue to hold, you wait for 30-45 minutes for them to answer.

Trying for days for my hubby to get through! He needs a repeat prescription urgently and cannot get through! On hold for 2hrs + then cuts off! Tried to order online only to be told the online system doesn’t work! It’s ridiculous!

My experience is only good 👍. Be kind to them, they are kind to you. Maybe you need to wait for a while on the phone, but everyone should have a bit of patience. Thank you to all the team 🙂

I have been a registered patient of Mitcham Medical Centre for nearly a decade. I booked an telephonic appointment with GP for Friday 24/06/2022. It was a simple appointment booked to request my annual blood tests. Every year, I get my blood tests. They were schedule to be done this year May 2022. When I didn’t receive any notification, I booked a telephonic appointment. GP gave me a call at 1028am. Somehow, as soon as I picked the call, it went to voice mail. I returned the call immediately at 1029am. Surely, all GP book 10 mins time slot for every patient. I called back in 1 minute! The receptionist told me that GP will give me a call back. No one called. I waited whole day for the call to get my blood test requests done. The 10 mins for telephonic call was booked for me. If I have called back in that minute, why was I not entertained? Is my health not important? Do you think I called for a chit chat with GP? If you have a lot of patient load, hire more GP or get a Locum one. You are responsible for all the patients registered to your GP service and we all deserve to avail the GP service. Not to be told off on telephone by a receptionist. The worst ever customer service. This is gross negligence. Firstly the blood tests were not done by GP annually. When I remind them, no one calls back! I called in today again. Waited 1 hour to speak to someone. Only to be told call back again tomorrow at 8am to book an appointment and if you miss the call from GP, GP will not call back. What sort of poor customer service is that? No one cares for our health? Who will be responsible if there is something medically wrong with me and it only got delayed because GP forgot to schedule a blood test, delayed my treatment and I ended up in hospital. Let me tell you, I have paid NHS surcharge annually of about £600 per year for 10 years to avail NHS service as an immigrant. I am availing paid NHS service. Not a free one. I expect better. Never Ever I have seen such an appalling behaviour from both GP and receptionist. I am not sure if you ever read the google reviews your clients are putting for Mitcham Medical Centre (Haselmere). Your rating is 1.8 only. That’s the worst. It does depicts that something major is going wrong with your GP practice. Firstly, the well recorded voice message which says that we can book our appointments online is a complete lie. Your GP systems doesn’t work for any appointments. I requested access, I was granted access a year ago. And Now, When I want to book online appointment, I cant. The message appears on screen “ there is a problem with your GP system. Secondly, do you think people who need GP services should wait for 1 hour on phone to get through the telephonic system, only to be told to call back tomorrow. You really think, someone health can hold for another 24 hours? Do you think people want to see GP for entertainment? If you cannot manage the GP services specially IT system and telephonic system, do something about it. Rather than ignoring it. These are the 2 main channel of communication and these are worst for Mitcham Medical Centre.

I think this practice has improved quite a lot. The receptionists & nurses always do a great job, the doctors however - has anyone ever seen one? The only other thing is, whoever is doing all the texting needs to chill, they text all the time even at weekends, give it at rest.

I am writing this on behalf of my mum, she was due a call from the nurse this afternoon but was called by Nicole who I believe is a receptionist to say that unfortunately the nurse had an emergency and wouldnt be available but should should there be a cancellation she would call my mum back, my mum was worried that she wouldn't receive a call back but she did get a call from a doctor a couple of hrs later and I was able to collect her prescription up for her. So thank you Nicole

I’m normally a patient of the Tooting branch, but attended Mitcham for a diabetic review with Nurse Yvonne this morning. She was fantastic - from the moment she called me in with a warm smile to when I left feeling lighter and less stressed. While she was most empathetic to my current situation of my father being in hospital, she was also very professional - teaching me a couple things along the way. Unlike another nurse from this practice, I was not made to feel like I was wasting her time, and there was eye contact throughout. I just wish she was at Tooting instead. What a wonderful soul! I hope that she is appreciated and valued by her colleagues and patients. 5 stars given to her without hesitation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ⭐️

I had a urine infection couple of weeks back, doctor gave me antibiotics, so I made a statement why I keep getting them,so now done bloods and sending me to urologist, cut a long story short ,I also complained pain on my right bum,hip and Back so I told them it was sciatica ,I was booked an appointment for Monday 3rd to see doctor Patel ,well what a waste of my time that was ,when I arrives she asked why I was there ? I said you tell me I was booked to come here ,didn't look st my notes before I went into the room ,so had to explain to myself to her everything which does get tiring keep repeating when she should just read the notes ,I was also told to self refer myself for physio ,the Doctor was not interested at all, I'll either find another surgery or make sure I only see 2 doctors there as the rest ain't got s clue or bloody students !!!

I choose to visit this Medical Centre instead of the annex branch which is my local GP surgery. The GP I have chosen to see there Dr Beneditch is a GP that listens, has empathy, with a humanity of care for her patients. Her overriding quality which is self evident when you meet her is that she provides patient care and not an individual who talks at you with an inference you are wasting there time. You leave her practice feeling invigorated by her advice. Dr Beneditch epitomises what a General Practitioner should be.

*GPs are slow and lazy as for correspondance to consultant regarding patient's updates . * Lack of regular nurse and cancelling of appointments. *Wrong guidance.

👍👍 I cannot recommend heartily enough this surgery, I left my previous surgery of 20 years due to them going down hill. From the moment you enter, all staff are polite, helpful and listen to you. 👍 Was made to feel very comfortable and at ease when I visited a couple of weeks ago. The dates I was given were spot on with what the hospital have just told me.
