We went there around 13 30 Sunday. There were 3 occupied tables, however the service was very slow. Food was great and delicious, with big portions (we couldn't finish everything). The terrace is ordinary, no atmosphere music and nothing special. The interior seems very nice. We will come again for the food.

Very pleasant Greek Taverna style eatery. Nice ambiance to enjoy food and drinks. Nice selection on a moderately priced menu. Food was nicely prepared and presented.

Arrived here with a friend that recommend the restaurant and we were just partially disappointed. Prawns were tasty and properly cooked, even by mediteranean standards, even if scarce in the praw-pan, the saganaki a delight, but the Galaktobureto a disappointment due to the cream that lacked consistency and taste, being surely just sprayed from a can. Staff was cheerful and the vibe of the rich in history neighborhood helped raise the experience to an above average one.

One of the best if not THE BEST greek restaurant in Bucharest, we are looking forward to coming back for some more! We ordered Bouiourdi, kalamari & kalamari gemisto. They were all very very good, better than in many places in Greece. For those not drinking alcohol, i recommend the lemonade as it was very tasty as well.

Pretty good Greek - international place, kind of rustic and in the same time contemporary, serving among other good Greek dishes and wines. Excellent for a chill dinner with friends

Kvala is located in one of the beautiful and (still) unaltered areas of Bucharest. And that's a good thing. The place itself offers a nice garden, but there are to many plastic plants and decorations - and this is spoiling a little bit the ambiance. When I was there the restaurant was almost empty, just one more table with 2 clients. So I can't say to much about the atmosphere and neither about the promptness of the service at a peak hour. In the given conditions the service was very good and prompt, with a polite and efficient waiter (and very careful with our requirements too). The food itself was ok, but nothing special. Honestly, my expectation were higher. Maybe in a day with more clients things are staying better.

One of the best Greek restaurants I tried in Romania. The meals are great, loved their tzatziki, gyros and portokalopita. Will def visit again and recommend to all of you. The service is perfect, the guys are behaving great, speaking English and all.

Great food and cozy place. Traditional Greek dishes, I highly recommend. We ordered: as starters chips+ tzatziki+ olives mix, then as main course: Kalamari gemisto and Saganaki.- Everything perfect. The location is great, city center- Cotroceni area.

Delicious food high quality salad

We enjoyed a dinner here with friends. The food was excellent and wine was decent. The serving was good. Unfortunately they had a poor assortment of non-alcoholic drinks and limonade could have been better. They did not have enough blankets for everyone outside who wanted one so make sure you dress appropriately when you want to spend the evening on their terrace. All in all a nice autumn evening out. 4 stars out of 5. I recommend it.

It was a wonderful Valetine's date after a tiring day for both of us. It was very nice that we were offered 2 glasses of Prosecco because of the special day. The tzatziki, tirokafteri and saganaki appetisers were very tasy and we also shared a greek chicken platter. The portokalopita desert was a perfect way to end the evening. To not forget, the waiter was very kind and nice to us.

The restaurant room is smelling very bad and there are a lot of flies all over the place. I asked for invoice and they told me that will send it by email. I call for 5 times asking for the invoice and every time the guy told me that it is not his task, he is busy and that he transmitted the info but the accountant is responsible. Very very bad services and I would not recommended this place. Also, the food is not very tasty.

Very beautiful restaurant with terrace, very friendly service, tasty food. Greek flavor in Bucharest. All sea food was properly cooked, pita very tasty, greek salad amazing. Definetly to try out. Good choice of beverages.

Overall a good experience, portions are a bit small compared to a greek tavern or specific restaurant but it's ok. Also one of the few places that serve no ouzo before the meal or appetizer (yes, one glass on the house, that's how it usually works)? Kind of misses on Greek authenticity with that.

My girlfriend brought some food from this restaurant (to go service). I never been inside this place, but it seems like a greek restaurant. Here are my thoughts about the food: Musaca: not a bad taste, but not so tasty, also. They use rucola for this dish (bleah)! Fries: the most basic chips you can get and no taste at all! Tigaie greceasca de pui: No taste. Just chicken with a sauce and some vegetables. Lot of prasley. NO TZTZIKI FOR US! Incredible! I would not recommend this place to anyone.. maybe the beer is good...

Kvala is my new favourite place to eat in Bucharest! Amazing service and tasty food! Also, the atmosphere was great! Gyros pork, choriatiki, feta saganaki, and galactoboureko were super tasty!

Small greek restaurant. Used to have tasty food in big portions and fair prices before the pandemic. The food is still tasty but the the prices are relatively high, compared to similar dishes we ate in Greece. The terrace was almost full when we served dinner and there was a single waiter for 8 tables so we had to wait a long time between orders. We will definetely return because we are in love with greek food, not just as regurarly as we used to.

Very nice place to have a nice quiet dinner. I did get sick from the lamb that I had here, also had some Tzatziki; the combination from that may have been too much for my stomach so take that into account when ordering.

The place is lovely and, importantly, it is authentic Greek in style: both interior design and cuisine / dishes served. The food is great and very tasty; all major greek recipes are present in the menu and the prices are not high. I truly recommend this restaurant for a Greek experience!

They have a strange...pretty dark tattooed Chef...but his food - great taste and even better than what I had in Greece! Awesome!
