We ordered delivery through the restaurants website on my phone. It was very easy to order. I got the lunch special with two spicy tuna rolls. They were very tasty/ The salad was very small. The miso soup was good. My wife got the pad thai. She said it was very good. Overall a very pleasant experience and the food was very good. Will definitely order from again.

Came highly recommended. Though the first time I went to grab some take out the strip mall it is in looked a little suspect, it turns out Onsen easily is the best sushi I have come across on the south shore since I started eating sushi 4 years ago. They are always friendly, give you a warm welcome and sometimes surprise you with something super delicious when you’re dining in. I go there for take out and to sit and eat. Place is amazing. Make sure you try the Joey Roll and Crazy Tuna roll!!

Yes it's in a 1980s looking brick strip mall. The Ambiance is okay inside. Neither of those things matter at all because from the minute you sit down at your table the service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. Full disclosure I'm the only person in my family with a seafood allergy and not only does Onsen work around that, but they have never served me a single item that's triggered and allergic reaction which I cannot say for other restaurants. This speaks to their cleaning as well as food maintenance and looking out for cross-contamination Personal favorite for me has always been the fried sweet potato roll. The rest of my family who can consume Seafood with no concern tells me that their Sushi is fantastic

Friendly place, as soon as you walk through the "Onsen" front doors, the entire staff greets you with a big "hello". Even the men making the sushi stop to give you a big hello from behind the sushi bar. Ken the server is a BLAST, lots of laughs…I've walked in on two occasions to place my “take out” order and they fed me a sushi appetizer and tea while I shortly waited. I really enjoy their food, the atmosphere, and the staff who is very kind and attentive. Their food is AMAZING! Try the delicious crazy white tuna appetizer. A great sushi place with lots of great options. The service is excellent and the complimentary pieces were so good we ordered a whole plate extra. It was a shrimp covered crab meat with smattering of onions on top. Prices are great and this is definitely a hidden gem.

So I learned something about myself. I don't like raw food. I went with my friend who loves it and he said it was excellent. I love the fact that it was a new experience. The waitress was lovely. I tried some kind of Asian beer and a martini. I didn't like the martini. The seaweed salad was good. I also liked the fried sushi. All the sushi I choose in my main dish were cooked. The salad was all raw I couldn't finish it but my friend found pleasure in helping me. The atmosphere is cosy and family or couple oriented plus u can see the cooks making ur meal. Another thing I liked was the fact that the waitress and the cooks kept us updated on how long your meals will be.

Friends brought us here, personable and friendly staff, excellent food and service - I really enjoyed this place! For desert, try their special green tea ice cream with chocolate syrup, whip cream, and rainbow sprinkles, where East meets West in a surprising finish to an enjoyable meal and very warm atmosphere.

Best sushi I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is so friendly too. I haven’t been to an establishment with such friendly servers in as long as I can remember. It really elevates the experience. I can’t wait to go back!

The food was really good! Actually might be the best tempura I’ve had. The batter is perfectly fried and light with the shrimp/vegetables being moist/tender. The bento boxes are extremely filling. Will come back with friends to try their sushi! But regardless of the food I’d give them 5 stars just for their hospitality and service. Super kind to our table but also greeting every new customer with a genuine smile. Makes you feel like you’re coming back to a restaurant that you’ve already been going to for years! 😊
