We had a 5 night stay here and LOVED the hotel, easily one of the best we have stayed in. Pros -Modern, updated design -Rooms were large, nice bathroom and really nice bed -location is awesome, near the main sites but a little outside so it isn't too crowded -Service was really helpful -Overall feel was like a ~$400+ night even though the price was a lot less Cons -Only con was the room we had was street side and we could hear noises outside at night. Not a huge real but something for them to improve. Overall this was an awesome hotel and would highly recommend others to stay here.

We booked an apartment outside of city center and weren't happy with it so we moved to this BEAUTIFUL hotel. We have enjoyed a five star stay. The service is exceptional from the quick email responses, printing our train tickets, giving us maps, calling us taxis, handing us an umbrella, bringing us room service, and so much more. The bed was the MOST comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. We also loved the turn down service at night and enjoyed the chocolates placed upon our pillows. The room also stays cool which we have very much appreciated since we are used to AC at home. If we return to Florence, this hotel will be our very first choice for all of the reasons listed above and also because it is short walk to every attraction, restaurant and shop we wanted to visit.

Phenomenal service, nice finishes, good location. All around a great experience for those looking for an elevated hotel experience but not in need for a complete blow out like the 4 seasons. Staff was incredibly helpful even with things they didn’t need to be. Highly recommend!

This is the place to be! Absolutely loved the clean well stocked and lovely room. They literally thought of everything and it was available for us. They registered our car that we brought in knowingly of the charges, they got my garments ironed for me very fast. They iron 3 garments for free. We got breakfast included package and there were plenty of choices and it was very chic. All the staff was outstanding. The front office ladies, our sweet server for breakfast, thank you to everyone! Absolute wonderful and memorable stay, if we are ever in Florence we will be back. Also the location is just perfect!

Hotel staff was very nice and welcoming, Location was great. However, the room had a very strong perfume smell. Breakfast was also good and fresh.

The hotel was very accommodating and responsive. We had requested a room with a bathtub through Expedia. Unfortunately the hotel didn’t get the request directly, but they accommodated us right away! We were able to get the room we asked for 24 hours later and honestly it was the best. Breakfast included: it was good and made upon request. (Not buffet style-the problem for us is we like options)The food was good though. The toiletries were very nice- including a Parisian company Diptyque that has very nice products. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning was welcomed. We loved the decor. We did not use the spa or gym (gym was included but Spa was 25€ extra per person) The location was convenient for the train station and the center of town. We utilized it more than we realized we would.

This is a magical place of pure beauty and poetry. The hotel owner will take you on a journey where everything is thought out to the smallest detail between design and art. Don't miss the gym, the spa where between staff and unique products you will find yourself in another dimension and finally the bar - restaurant accompanied by concerts of the highest level. In short, this is the place to be when you come to Florence, don't miss it!

A wonderful stay at this hotel!!! Room is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable, especially the bedding. Best location for visiting the city as it’s right in the city center. Staff are helpful and welcoming. I will definitely come back again!

The turn down service was wonderful, always had a clean room waiting for us. The wait staff for breakfast was not very friendly or attentive. The rooms were very centrally located, nice and roomy.

Lovely hotel with very nice, polite and helpful staff. The location is good as is very center but at the same time very quite. Our room was excellent and always well presented. A place you can truly relax after a long day sightseeing.

Our room was beautiful and always prepared perfectly. The breakfast package had wonderful options. The service was the best! You must visit Alessandro at the bar especially if you enjoy wine. He was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Very good location, close to everything! Very sad we did not take advantage of the spa. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 5 nights just a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is in a great location, near everything. You can walk to the train station (albeit, cobblestone and rough roads but you will be fine). The staff is so very nice, and the breakfast is awesome. It is not buffet, but made to order. Coffee was great as well, and cappuccinos were also (they do have almond milk). The bath products were ok--not top notch. And the air conditioner was controlled by the hotel--so don't get too excited that it will be nice and cool for you. We had it set for what would be 70 degrees F (US), and it didn't get below 75 or 76. We talked with the hotel and they did what they could- but just something to be aware of. Also, if you are on the 3rd floor, don't stay in 315 unless you want to hear LOUD clunking over you. They do have a 4th floor room, and it is directly above this one. You can hear people stomping and walking all day or night long, depending on the guests staying up there. It was not pleasant. The part that I really was disappointed with was the spa. It was HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money. We spend $240 for a couples massage. The girls picked us up from the room (late), took us down there, and they literally lathered oil all over us and rubbed back and forth like they were making fire. It was NOT like a normal spa massage or a US massage! They didn't get knots out, applied ZERO pressure, and after the massage was over, that was it. They didn't give us water, nothing. We were escorted "either up to our rooms or the spa." We chose the spa to check it out, but it was not good. They just left us there. We had no idea how to get out or where anything was. We walked around the tiny spa (in the basement) and they had a rocky path (for foot massages where you literally walk along back and forth), a small hot tub that was lukewarm, a sauna, and some sort of a steam room. But we literally were just left there. So after a horrible massage and waste of $240, we ended up in a worthless spa--we just went to our room to shower off all of the oil everywhere. I told the hotel at check-out, and they didn't seem too phased that we just spent $240 for nothing. Very disappointing.

We stayed for 3 nights. It is a very lovely boutique hotel in a superb location in the heart of Florence. The rooms are modern, well appointed, spacious and very quiet given the location of the hotel. The service is very professional and friendly. The front desk manager Luisa was accommodating and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Beautiful 5* modern but classy hotel in the middle of it all. Very friendly staff. The Nine suite is absolutely beautiful and had 2 full bathrooms (was not that clear when I booked, but a nice suprise). Totally recommended

With my friends we stopped for a drink in this exceptional location. We were warmly welcomed by Federico, the receptionist, who escorted us to the bar. Guido did wonderfully his job as a bartender and suggested us special drinks that we enjoyed really much: we'd love to come back and try more!!

The bed was comfortable, and the location is very convenient. However, if you’re planning on using the amenities that are advertised here think again! The gym hours are terrible! Opening at 10am while on vacation is not ideal. The communication about the gym times is terrible, as the sign in the elevator said open until 10pm, and it was closed by 5 or 7 every night I was staying. I was given the shuttle times to the pool, arrived 10 minutes before shuttle, and was informed I needed to book the shuttle so be aware if you are planning on using the pool. I would have to say do not waste your time staying here.

A very special hotel ***** I was supposed to stay in this hotel in June 2020 but because of covid19, my trip was cancelled. The hotel staff understood and let me rearrange at my convenience. In the end, we stayed on the 17 Dec 2021 for two nights. On arrival we were greeted with a huge warm welcome and felt completely cared for from beginning to end. Our room was decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. Our breakfast was lovingly made and served so quickly and attentively with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble and I felt the hotel staff were genuinely happy to help. I never go back to the same hotel twice but on this occasion, I will make an exception to my usual rule. I feel very lucky to have stayed in this hotel. Grazie Mille Hotel Firenze Number Nine

Well overall is ok but as a five stars hotel, it is a big no-no. The service varies even though it is a busy summer. One of the guys was nice about the gym access and offer a bottle of water which is nice but the next day the lady at the desk seems like she doesn't know anything about the access to the gym and also a bottle of water she just said got to the bar. I have to indicate to myself that I am a hotel guest. The location is great no doubt. But just some tiny things like the refills on shampoo, soap, conditioners, lotions, etc. The SPA indicate that there are towels but there weren't any and also no soap for showering in the SPA which is unusual. If the hotel wants to be the selected boutique hotel there is a long way to go on inconsistent services. Even when staying at the nine suites all guests are pretty much treated the same.

What a superb stay! From the kindness of the greeting, the welcome sparkling wine in a quiet, comfortable lounge, to the daily assistance and suggestions, we felt marvelously taken care. The gym is excellently outfitted, though not open early. Walking 10-12 miles/day seeing the city suited most of our fitness needs for a few days. The location is fantastic if you are in Florence to see the old city and the art. You can get to more places than you can possibly visit in a 10-15 walk. Get breakfast included. The indoor service area is quite and comfortable. The outdoor area is bright and pleasant. The India Bowl is the most magnificent assortment of fresh fruits on yogurt. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his daily omelet. I do hope Francesco and Lela are there when you visit. These two are true professionals, keeping an eye on their guests should any need arise. We will choose this hotel on a return trip.

A lovely hotel with fantastic STAFF and Management. My luggage was delayed by 53 hours and the hotel went out of their way to make phone calls, give me information and showed an extremely caring attitude! The location is perfect, rooms are well equipped with nice amenities and public areas are lovely. While the physical attributes are meaningful, again the Staff and Management are outstanding. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again when I am in Florence. Thank you for all of your help during my September stay! Lucinda Borchard Avila Beach, CA. USA

Central location but on a quiet street. The staff is fantastic they make you feel so welcome and stop and about your day what they can do for you etc. It was great, felt like coming back to close friends each day. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and modern with high ceilings. Great wifi. If you are a quiet sleeper ask for room on top floor since floors are wooden. Otherwise it's a gem and my preferred Firenze hotel at my next visit.

Amazing hotel. Kind and considerate service. Very welcoming. Room was comfortable and the shower was amazing (room 109). Spa very nice as well. Big and lovely jacuzzi, hamam incredibly hot and nice dry sauna. Massages are nice. Breakfast tasty as well. Nice lobby with cold water, pastries. They also make excellent coffee, no extra charge. We had a late flight so after checkout they kept our luggage and let us use the shower in the gym. Very recommended for a romantic vacation. A bit of a waste to come with kids...

The location of the hotel is fantastic, walking distance from train station, main attractions and many brilliant restaurants. The staff in the hotel was very friendly and the check-in was done very quickly. The room was very neat! The bed was very comfortable. Toilet was kept very clean and modern – I think the fixture and fittings in this hotel are of high standard. Breakfast was excellent. I’ve not been to their spa/gym as I spent whole day walking in this charming city. I will not hesitate to come back to this hotel if I’m given a chance!

Lovely hotel! We loved that the hotel was connected to a gym/spa and we had free access. Breakfast was delicious and in a lovely contemporary space. Our room was a very generous size. Even brought Deliveroo straight to your door. In a good location too!
