I
wanted
to
shop
in
this
store
and
asked
my
two
daughters
to
wait
at
the
door
as
they
were
eating.
I
told
the
security
guard
at
the
door
and
he
directed
them
where
to
stand
as
they
waited
for
me
to
return.
Whilst
I
was
shopping,
another
security
guard
who
was
standing
at
another
entrance
to
the
store,
walked
approximately
100
metres
towards
my
daughters
and
spoke
to
them
in
Italian.
When
my
eldest
daughter
said
they
didn’t
speak
Italian,
they
were
rudely
told
in
English
that
they
couldn’t
stand
in
front
of
the
store
eating
and
were
ushered
around
a
corner
into
a
dark
area,
away
from
everyone.
My
daughters
tried
to
resist,
insisting
they
were
waiting
for
their
mother
and
as
they
felt
they
were
being
lured
away
to
a
dangerous
location,
were
quite
uncomfortable.
When
I
returned,
my
daughters
explained
the
treatment
they
had
received
and
indicated
which
security
guard
had
attempted
to
lure
them
away.
I
immediately
approached
the
guard
and
asked
him
why
he
had
acted
in
this
manner.
He
was
suddenly
unable
to
speak
English
and
he
and
another
guard
began
to
speak
and
laugh
amongst
themselves.
I
entered
the
entrance
to
the
food
section
from
where
the
abrupt
guard
was
stationed
in
order
to
find
a
manager
and
voice
my
concerns.
I
explained
that
for
safety
I
had
asked
my
daughters,
who
are
visiting
a
foreign
country
and
do
not
speak
the
language,
to
wait
safely
for
me
where
I
had
left
them.
The
manager
scoffed
at
me,
ridiculed
me
and
proceeded
to
walk
away
from
me
whilst
speaking
derogatively
about
me
in
Italian,
which
I
understand.
I
am
completely
disgusted
with
every
aspect
of
this
interaction
but
more
concerned
about
the
possible
undesirable
intentions
of
the
man
who
was
determined
to
remove
my
daughters
from
their
safe
environment.
