Only 10€/day for drop-in. Cheapest rate in town! Great gym offering everything you need for a proper workout. Very clean and spacious. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. If your passing through Florence and need a local gym, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Good gym. Equipment is older and it's pretty small. Go early! Friendly owner. Good rates - 10/session or 30/week. No A/C.

Great value for money. Frank (owner) is super helpful and friendly as well which certainly adds to the experience. Perfect for people passing by like myself where one can pay 30€ for a week (cheap vs other options in Florence)

This gym serves this area of Florence well. It is small, but has a couple racks and all the essential machines and equipment. Gyms are expensive here in Florence, but this gym is on the more affordable end compared to the other gyms in town, which can be far away for you anyways if you reside in the oltrarno. Besides having to pay 170 for a 3 month pass, I have no other complaints. It is a great option for people needing a gym for a day or a few months.

If you enjoy working out a few days while youre on vacation, this gym is great. It was only 10 euros for a day pass and had all of the equipment you need. We went at 5 pm and there were only two other people there.

Small but great gym

Small gym in the heart of San Frediano equipped with everything you need to train without frills, courteous and helpful owner.

i looked all over town for a place to stretch, do cardio, and, most importantly, keep up on weight training during vacation. There are nicer looking and newer looking gyms in town, for much more money, but gym n tonic is a friendly, clean space where you will instantly feel relaxed. Some of the equipment is a little older than you may find elsewhere, but it is clean and well looked after. There is a really nice kettlebell studio that i did not try, but i used everything else for 5 days, for only 30 euro. i would have had to pay 75 anywhere else. They have nice shower and locker rooms, separate by gender. They have exercise classes in the mornings. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and little shops, good places but not as fancy or expensive as much of Oltrearno area. I highly recommend this gym!

I really like this gym! As an international student I found Gym and Tonic to be extremely friendly and cheap which is most of what I look for in a gym. The equipment is solid but some machines are outdated, overall a really clean facility with a great staff. I would prefer if they were more accessible though, as trying to find information on pricing and other basic questions were difficult to find online.

I have been a member of this gym for a bit now and have found the place to get the job done in terms of what I need. However, one of the biggest reasons I was willing to join this gym was that they offer Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes. However, when I signed up and asked about the lessons they said no. Which made me believe that it is reserved for locals. Aside from that, they have minimal social media presence, making it hard to understand how the environment at the gym is. There are a lot of reviews saying that this gym is one of the better options in Florence but, in terms of price and location I think otherwise. Nonetheless, if you are a student who is studying abroad and you want to maintain a routine, this place isn't terrible, you'll always get a bench, and it's pretty quiet usually around 5 pm.
