They
requested
that
I
leave
a
review,
so
I
do
so,
albeit
with
some
hesitation.
I
arrived
in
Florence
with
a
cracked
crown
and
they
were
very
kind
in
seeing
me,
extremely
quick
and
accommodating.
The
office
was
clean,
and
their
staff
was
always
kind,
communicative,
and
reassuring,
for
which
I
am
grateful.
They
were
patient
when
I
was
indecisive
(they
convinced
me
that
in
paying
more
for
a
root
canal,
I
would
avoid
future
pain
and
sensitivity
in
the
damaged
area,
and
I
did
ultimately
opt
to
do
so,
for
a
total
of
€1300).
Fitting
the
crown
was
difficult,
as
I
suspect
is
the
norm,
but
at
some
point
it
seems
they
nicked
on
one
of
my
neighboring
teeth
(or,
hopefully,
perhaps
they
left
a
dab
of
cement
that
remains
there
after
over
a
month),
and
it
required
3-4
different
visits
to
adjust
it.
Anyway,
the
crown
remained
high
enough
where
my
other
teeth
wouldn't
touch
when
I
closed
my
mouth,
which
was
so
maddening.
The
dentist
seemed
like
she
didn't
really
believe
me,
and
I
left
each
time
thinking,
"OK,
maybe
I'm
just
being
too
sensitive
and
I'll
get
used
to
it."
Finally,
upon
my
last
visit,
the
"main"
dentist
took
over
with
great
fanfare,
and
he
was
much
more
thorough,
even
polishing
the
surface
of
the
crown,
which
made
it
much
more
comfortable
in
my
mouth
(which,
by
the
way,
I'm
surprised
the
other
dentist
never
did).
Unfortunately,
while
the
fit
is
better
than
before,
it
still
does
stick
out
every-so-slightly
when
I
close
my
mouth,
and
now
hurts
when
I
eat.
I'm
hoping
eventually
I
will
get
used
to
it
and
the
soreness
will
go
away,
and
I
know
that
they
would
offer
to
try
to
help
adjust
it
again,
but
after
so
many
tries
I
just
don't
see
the
point
anymore.
Perhaps
I
should
have
articulated
myself
better
when
I
was
there
--
I
guess
it
speaks
to
the
limitations
of
my
Italian,
or
to
me
not
wanting
to
complain
too
much
--
but
at
this
point
after
two
months,
my
time
in
Italy
is
ending,
and
will
have
to
visit
my
old
dentist
in
the
USA
to
see
what's
up.
I
wish
I
didn't
have
to
do
so,
as
it's
going
to
end
up
costing
much
more
in
time
and
money
in
the
long
run,
but
that
was
the
risk
I
took.
Anyway,
I
hate
to
leave
a
negative
review,
but
that's
where
I
stand
now.
