The room was stunning. We stayed in Alis (the room's name) and we felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. The decoration is stunning, from the wallpaper to the furniture. The location is great, minutes away from the cathedral (you can see part of it from the street) and it's close to every main attraction in Florence. The accommodation doesn't offer breakfast but they leave a basket of goodies for breakfast/snacks in the room, which is really nice. The host was very warm and welcoming and gave us loads of recommendations and took the time to explain how everything worked (including the very old school lift). I will definitely stay here again when I return to Florence.

Number one place in Florence!!! A small hotel with eight rooms. every room is decorated differently with high style of decoration. There is an inner garden which every night has a happy hour with drinks. The hostess Luca does his best to please us and make us feel as pleasant as he can he is very nice and recommend us about special places and even help us book a place. The location is great close all necessary sites and we don’t need to use our car which is parking just a few meters away. We will certainly not forget this place we highly recommend it so if you intend visiting Florence this is the best place for you!!!

Faultless. My husband recently took me to Florence for my birthday. Luca and his sister made us feel so welcome and my husband had arranged a number of special treats for my birthday including champagne and a cake. We ended up staying one night in a suite on the 3rd floor and one night in a garden view room on the ground floor. Both were exceptional. The little details and decor made the experience luxurious. It’s also a 3 minute walk from everything! Luca gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and as my Italian is not that great he also offered to book them for us. Finally, the happy hour/aperitivo, in the gorgeous garden each night was a real treat. A great opportunity for us to mingle with other guests and enjoy a well crafted cocktail before dinner. On our last night we ended up bumping into friends from home and stayed longer than the hour chatting in the garden. I doubt we will stay anywhere else in Florence and we are already looking to book again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Would have loved to keep Renascentia a secret, because ITS SO GOOD! Rafaela and her brother have been super helpful and responsive, giving us great recommendations and helping us make reservations at restaurants. And they have been so warm and welcoming! The hotel is in a SUPERB location, about 10mins walk from the train station and a stones throw away from Santa Maria and all other attractions. The Accademia is at its doorstep! The rooms are so pretty, spacious and clean. Although they don’t serve breakfast, they have been so very thoughtful to include small bites (cakes, Nutella, marmalade) and coffee/ tea / water and a well stocked mini bar in the room. The small garden where they serve daily cocktail at 6pm is very special. Thank you so much for such brilliant hospitality. We will be back!

Amazing hidden gem in the heart of the busy city. A quiet, magical oasis to return to and hang out (have a cocktail during the cocktail hour!) before u head out for the evening. Luxurious, extreme clean and well designed. The owner is the nicest person we met in Florence and he will give the best local recommendations for dinner! If u are lucky enough to find availability, make sure u book this!

Absolutely wonderful - spent an amazing 8 nights here and can't wait for a reason to return. Accommodation was beautiful, the location perfect and the staff exceptional. We were given so much useful information when we arrived and Lucca's recommendations for places to eat were spot on. The complimentary cocktails and snacks in the garden each evening were much appreciated and a lovely touch as were the little biscuits and cakes left in our room each day. We also enjoyed the bottle of Chianti gifted to us on our final evening. Everything about this place is fabulous but most of all the staff who looked after us so well. Thank you all. Good location. No terrace cocktails in winter, but still a nice spot for an afternoon game of chess. Clean room, bed was comfortable enough. Not much by way of hospitality, but they were responsive via message and have good recommendations for where to eat and made reservations for us. Would not classify this as luxury like other reviews mentioned.

Great experience staying here. Our room was beautiful and comfortable - stylishly decorated. Conveniently located to everything. Luca willing to help out with anything including dinner recommendations in advance of our stay. The best part is they offer a complimentary aperitivo in the garden each night - the drinks and snacks were amazing! The garden is such a nice respite from the city. We were sad to leave.

I felt in love with Florence, it is such a beautiful city. Lucca and Raffaela made a perfect stay for me. I was traveling on my own and they were real friends. All of their places, including The Renascentia Garden Relais as well as any of their airbnb’s are in excellent locations. This is the second time I stay with them and I am hoping it would not be the last. The decoration made by Raffaella is exquisite. The location could not be better. All you need in recommendations Lucca has the answer. They are 24/7 available. The complimentary aperitve at the Renascentia is wonderful. They are both someliers so you will have the best drinks always accompained with a wonderful smile. Rafaella, Luca and his wife are wonderful people. Please look no further. They are 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in everything they do. I cannot say enough thank you 🙏

Wonderful experience. Easy check in with dinner recommendations, lovely garden to relax in and drink cocktail: even had 0% gin, which is wonderful. Comfortable, clean, fully stocked rooms, in a place that doesn’t ration coffee pods and even includes decaf ones as standard. Thank you, it was great to stay do centrally and enjoy a pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The hotel was small but very personal. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, with a great location for getting around Florence. Raphaella made the best Negroni I’ve ever had! We will stay here again our next time in Florence and will recommend to our family and friends when they visit. Truly a highlight to our trip, so happy we found this hotel!

This place was perfect! The hosts were wonderful and could not be more helpful. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great (the two most important things to me). The Nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch with little cakes for the hungry. I loved the garden courtyard, it was a lovely place to relax and chat with happy hour drinks. We will be back!

I booked this hotel in March and it was so far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious and you get exactly what you see in the pictures. The location is perfect as well it’s right in the heart of Florence so you’re able to experience Italy in its fullest. The service was the best I’ve ever had the manager enrico went above and beyond, he was genuine and super nice and very accommodating to all his guests. If I could rate this place any higher than 5/5 stars I would.

We had a very nice stay! Great owner and great staff with good service. Had an aperitivo in their garden and their food recommendations where spot on!
