Absolutely beautiful! Water was so refreshing and the hike wasn't that bad at all. It took about 15 - 20 minutes from crossing the blue bridge to reach the natural pools. The hike along the way is just as stunning as the pools themselves. NOTE: the Barra Lagoa area seemed a bit sketchy when my wife and I visited so something to watch out for. Also, the water on the left side of the natural pools is much more calm than the right side if you want to swim but still watch out because the tide hitting against the rocks can still be strong. Highly recommend. One of the top places to visit in Florianopolis.

Great natural pools, landscapes are breathtaking. The path is not very long and views are amazing, the end of it is a little bit hard so maybe it’s not for everybody. Entering the water could be a little difficult but this is a natural place. Of course it’s dangerous so it’s really important to take care, mainly if you are jumping into water from rocks. If you are going to Barra da Lagoa it’s highly recommend to go there.

Enjoyable exercise walking up to the rocks. Once you walk down you see the crashing waves. Amazing feeling to walk back up the rocks as you leave, will feel like you are walking up to the sky. It was high tide in the afternoon so no good for swimming. A great little town for a vacation. Happy to also see locals enjoying themselves.

Ok, so, it's a small, tricky , crowded hike. We went on a hot sunny day and still found quiet pools away from the mayhem. Be careful walking on the huge sloping rock. There is a nice bar overlooking the beach. Floripa is the sh1t!

It’s quite a hike in the heat but doable with a small cooler. There’s only rocks to lay on and getting in and out of the water is not the easiest. I wouldn’t go here again but it’s beautiful to see.

A must-see spot in Florianópolis, it takes about 30 minutes to get there by feet (not a difficult hiking trail) but the landscape’s so worthy!! It’s also possible to rent snorkels for R$10 in the summertime, by the rocks (only cash). Make sure you’re taking bottles of water and some snacks w/ you, because there’s only one small bar by the rocks.

Gorgeous place to take in some great views of the Florianopolis island with large boulders that stretch out into the water that create coves in which to swim. There are lots of people no matter the day, so don’t go expecting to have the place to yourself. The fact that so many people are there doesn’t detract much. The water is deep and clear, and there are lots of spots to put down a towel and sunbathe.

Nice easy trail that leads to a calming view of the outer sea and Moçambique beach reserve. Not an actual natural pool, though

Nice spot .... but obviously very very busy .... not recommended to relax in the sun and cool off. However it is worth a visit.

Amazing place. People should be able to visit every single place in the island

In this almost surrealistic place, the nature plays with water and stones, and creates an unbelievably beautiful view.
