Had breakfast this morning. Understaffed, could not clear tables nor replenish food. First wave of guests eating cleared out the scrambled eggs and sausage and the staff did not seem interested in refilling the warming servers containing food. Coffee pod machines had stopped working and some were out of water. No milk for cafe au lait.. Had to ask for bowls and dishes. Many of the plates seemed not cleaned well. Same problem with dishes at dinner the night before.

Decent hotel as can be expected from a Mercure, very conveniently located near to INSEAD campus. The 5 stars mainly due to the front desk service and hospitality which really takes it to the next level. Big big shout out to Micol who is largely responsible for that.

A cozy, family-friendly hotel that seems more like a big welcoming family home located very near Fontainebleau forest and castle. A great place for a break from busy Paris streets. Delicious restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Excellent location and good (free) parking options. Pleasant bar/ lounge and outside, breakfast setup somewhat confusing. But ample. Rooms - nothing wrong but not particularly noteworthy at this price level.

The staff is very nice and professional but this is not a 4star. For example: they give no slippers in the basic room. Far overpriced. Location is very good for Insead. The restaurant is nice

I arrived to the room and it was not cleaned properly. The toilet paper was not changed and there was a wrapper on top of the closet. The room smelled weird. They didn’t have an iron nor an electric plug. The room didn’t have a bath robe nor a slipper. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.

Good stay , but not safe and reliable. I forgot my gold necklace in safety box and they say nothing there!

The hotel interior is as expected and with a good location just a few 100m from INSEAD. But the reason for the 5 stars is the excellent service at the front desk. Special thanks to Micol.

Very good...Big rooms ... Very clean... Good breakfast... But not recommended for the Restaurant... Acceptable prices

Room was big enough and dark, the bright place was only the bathroom. Stayed for 5 days there but the menu for breakfast was the same everyday. Location is great if you need to go to INSEAD, but to downtown, you need to walk around 10-15minutes. AC was there but not worked at all, so we had to open the window and the flies flew inside the room.

Beautiful location (Fontainebleau). Staff are excellent, which enhanced my stay. For me, the menu could be improved as not extensive enough. Visit the chateau (within walking distance of the hotel) if you get chance, its free entry first Sunday in the month I believe.

Got late at night , room was cold. Could not raise the temperature as the hotel has set lower temperature for all rooms. Energy crisis should by no means impact quality of customer stay ! Unacceptable from @accor

Quite old yet maintained hotel

They cancelled my reservation that I had made through the Accor website because they were overbooked, and didn't offer any alternative (other than sending me to a hotel in a different city, only accessible by car) or compensation (even though I am a platinum member)

Great hotel. Excellent location. Rooms really comfortable and the service good. Recommend for the food, the great gardens and overall vibe!

Very nice hotel, the rooms are spacious, staff very friendly, amazing outdoors and facilities (tennis, swimming pool, ping pong, baby foot...) with a nice bar providing a big choice of cocktails and drinks.. On the down side: no coffee/tea available in the rooms, and we ordered a 7up late at night that wasnt available for room service. Overall a very nice experience!

It was fine, but they didnt have too many things in the room, we had to ask for toothpastes etc The pool was cute but could be warmer.

The staff here are amazing! They were so helpful on multiple occasions to make appointments & reservations since my colleague and I dont really speak french. Rooms are decent all the desk chair could use replacing (not very ergonomic). The other thing that could use some help is the breakfast set up. While items provided seem to be more classic French offering it left a little to be desired for selection. Also it's sort of a trick to walk through the line. Your supposed to use a tray but there no room on the counter to reat the tray as you select items. So it becomes this balancing act which you hope doesn't turn into a spectacle or you need someone to hold the tray while you select the items you want.

The hotel is good for its location nearby of INSEAD campus, but the only downside is the hidden charges at the end of the stay where one of the staff told me on the second day that breakfast is free for hotel guests but there was a 15€ fee for everyday on checkout even if you didn't have it.
