The location to Chateau de Fountainbleau was perfect. It's only a few blocks away. They have underground parking for 10 Euros per day. The check in was easy. There is an elevator. Small seating area where you can play games at the lobby. The room is small but we did have a queen sized comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but the shower was large enough and water was hot and plenty of it. They only had two bath towels to use. At breakfast I asked for two hand towels which they gladly gave me. There was two small paper glasses to use in the bathroom. The bathroom didn't have a mini refrigerator. Right now I'm doing laundry just around the corner from Ibis Hotel. All and all it's worth the price to stay here!

We stayed here only one night. Upon arrival, we learnt that the hotel parking was full. We had to park on the open public car park. Apart from that frustrating inconvenience, the hotel was nice and clean, the staff friendly. We were lucky that the receptionist spoke Spanish from Argentina, as our French is quite rusty. The room was small, but clean and the bed ok. Wifi is free. Breakfast was excellent. Best of all was the position, close to everything, especially the Chateau and restaurants. Good value for money.!

A perfect experience. For SPG travelers, this is a Westin for quality at Sheraton prices. We stayed in a bedroom for 3 adults on the 1st floor, which wasn't huge but definitely enough space for the three of us. Clean, bright, and comfortable. The bathrooms were sparklingly modern and the beds were airy and comfortable. Easy last-minute check-in and checkout. Comes with private parking at €10/night.

I stayed 5 days- the room was a bit tight but it had everything I needed at a good price. I stayed solo which probably helped. The room has a small closet, a desk, a bed and tv in the main room and a bathroom with a small shower. I was able to open the window which looked out onto a courtyard. They have parking available in a garage accessed on the right side of the building. On the ground floor is a room with an iron and ironing board for communal use. They have a complimentary breakfast with a variety of pastries, breads and cheeses and an indoor and outdoor dining area. The location is in the center of town a short walk to the Chateau And numerous restaurants and shops.

Convenient hotel in great location beside the Chateau. Room was small but comfortable, and breakfast was good and affordable. The only negative if parking underground is the parking lot has only one lane, so difficult to navigate, and we couldn't see an elevator so had to carry the luggage up a flight of stairs.

Hmm, I don't know what to say... We stayed at this hotel for wedding and after a trip to the alps. Upon entering we were pleasantly surprised with the fresh look of the hotel. The decor was on point, the staff amazing and the bar well stocked. We could not believe our eyes when we got to the room. It was a closet. We are not exactly big people (we are both tall but pretty much springy) and we could not was around the room. Our bags did not fit inside (we had to jump over them to access the bed) and since the shower was elevated it turned the bathroom into a puddle everytime we bathed. It was a ground floor room with no air conditioning so it was interesting to see the staff carry the trash by our window while we dried from the shower on top of the bed (no other space). The breakfasts were amazing and so was the chill environment, but when it comes to actual sleeping conditions good luck ah ah

Great location, friendly and helpful staff (and manager). Rooms are as small as you can expect from the Ibis brand. Also the entrance lacks a ramp (for wheelchairs and luggage) and it is very difficult to park in front since people will just leave their cars at the 15 minute spot.

Overall poor attitude from staff. Inflexible with simple requests. Ask for any accommodation changes or help and get “it is not possible” with a saccharine-sweet smile. Thanks. I honestly got the impression they say no to most requests literally for fun. 100% avoid, and be smart and don’t listen to Ibis rebuttals on the reviews. Listen to your fellow customers, instead. Also, I don’t recommend staying here if you need any co-working or meeting space, whatsoever. They’re very limited in that regard.

Rude staff. You are not allowed to get water from the restaurant after breakfast (even though there are no signs) and if you do, a staff member will lecture you rudely. If you want a cup of tea you have to queue at reception until someone comes out from the back room and has time to get you one. Unless you are on a shoestring budget and don’t care about rude staff…best avoid. Edit: As the below reply illustrates, the management genuinely do not care. You will have to wait for a cup of tea or coffee as they dont trust customers to use coffee machines unsupervised. Welcome to Fawlty Towers.

Rude staff and very poor service with bad attitude at checkin said couldn’t find my booking even though I had confirmation and was with a wedding party. Door lock was faulty and had continuous difficulty getting into the room - almost maliciously negligent. Highly NOT recommend staying here. There are other amazing hotels nearby.

Tiny room, tiny window, clogged sink, carpet on the floor. Except for the person who welcomed me on my arrival and the cleaning lady, cold and haughty staff. No smile. I don't know how they can work in a hotel. It's just outrageous. Finally, if you get sick, beware. You will be coldly asked to stay in your room and not to access the common areas. If you ask to postpone a stay that has not yet started (I had 2 reservations), in order to go back home immediately, with a doctor's prescription and as the health insurance specified me by sms, Ibis Fontainebleau will say no. So, you are sick and contagious, you ask for a postponement of your stay (4 nights). Not a cancellation, a postponement. The Accor customer service (I am a Gold member) told you on the phone that you could postpone your stay, however, the Ibis Fontainebleau staff refuses and, double punishment, forbids you to access the common areas. All this with such a coldness that you feel bad. Worse, they will look at each other and smile. You will wonder what's so funny about the situation. Of course I went home, there are sanitary requirements and I am a responsible person. Travelers, I do not recommend this place. At all.

Fair price, but rooms are very basic, noisy as you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms

Rooms are very small. It's very difficult to open trolley bags. Moreover, staffs click pictures of room and our belongings in our absence, which is very unethical. Cleaning staff do not understand English. Location is very good. Close to chateau and INSEAD.
