    Wonderful testing golf course, good risk reward balance, beautiful setting. greens were in amazing condition, it was 39 degrees the previous day, very receptive and ran very true. looking forward to a revisit.

    This is the most beautiful inland golf course that you will ever play.I guess it should be given that it lies within the forest of former Kings' of France .Hawtree did a remarkable lengthening of an original Tom Simpson layout without changing its character one bit.(Simpson and Donald Ross must have been twins separated at birth).Stay at the Hotel L'Londres and talk golf with its proprietors.
