Service is good, but the offer is the worst in the city center in terms of “value for money”. Probably that’s is why the place is totally empty. Drinks are ok, but hugely overpriced. Besides, this cafe is unfortunately messy and dirty. Especially the toilet - it looks like no one cleans it. I would expect to see something like this in a cheap bar in bad part of the city, but for sure not in the center of Florence. In this cafe they sell coffee for 5-7 euros and Aperol Spritz for 9 euros (it’s more expensive than in the airport and sounds simply ridiculous). I would recommend to avoid this place, you won’t get anything but disappointment.
I had only 10 minutes free time before taking the train, and I decided to try the bakery and coffee here. I ordered, and then I go outside, waiting at the table. My coffee and desert cane right away, and the waitress was quite kind. The gentleman at the bar was professional too. This is a very busy bar. The price is normal, not so expensive as other says. I mean, at least the coffee and the desert worth the price. It's normal to pay a bit more when the quality is higher. I am willing to pay a bit more for a good coffee, instead of paying less for a bad coffee.
Although the coffee is good and the dessert is very good the prices are exorbitant, I thought there was a mistake when they brought the bill. Tourits scam. I paid £4 for a cappuccino and £8 for a dessert.
We went here for breakfast a few times as our bed and breakfast was affiliated with this restaurant and we had paid for breakfast via the hotel. The pistachio croissant was amazing! I've never had anything like it, the pistachio cream filled in the croissant was a brilliant concept. The staff both the gentleman and the lady were always very friendly to us and service was speedy.
We visited this place. We didn't eat, but we did have dessert. The tiramisu wasn't very fresh. But the strawberry cheesecake was good. I don't understand why they gave it such a low rating. The interior is clean. The service is friendly. You're not coming to a very famous place for tastings. Have a cold drink and leave. Let's respect people's hard work.
Da evitare 2 brioche e due caffè al tavolo 14 euro.... servizio scadente arrivata una sputacchiata di caffè e dopo 5 minuti le brioche sconsigliatissimo
What we needed when we wanted it! I was craving a good tiramisu and we stumbled upon this place. Seemed overpriced (8 euros) but we tried it. Just what I wanted! Additionally, they served the best Americano we’ve had in Italy — big hot cup of perfection (€5). Cappuccino was so so.
Close to train station, good for "pit stop" before going to city centre of Florence after arrival. Great desserts 🍨. Overall overpriced, especially food and taste - nothing special.
This is our second time here. The location is convenient because it is near the train station and the train to the airport. Indoor and outdoor seating. Menu offers cold and hot food and drinks. All items are clearly priced on the menu. The food was good 👍. The coffee was good. Americano comes in a big cup 😊. Service was average. Toilets had toilet paper and were average, nothing to complain about. Busy place with a high turnover due to the location. No complaints from us. We tried all of the pistachio pastries, cakes, etc. and found them all quite good! 👍👍
Excellent pastries! Reviews are too harsh Walked into this cafe to grab a croissant with vanilla creme on my way to the Galleria Academia and it was delicious! If you come in for a pastry and coffee don’t be put off by other reviews Paid 2.50€ for my croissant
The owner was very kind to prepare for us a croissant with pistachio cream right on the spot. It was delicious! It is a great place to enjoy have coffee and Italian pastries, right next to the Novella train station. Don’t order an americano because it is very expensive (5 euro).
Scandaloso, costosissimo e di bassa qualità.
Interno del cornetto albicocca… VUOTO!!
2 cappuccini e un succo di frutta 14EUR
Nice and clean atmosphere, chocolate mousse and coffee was good. However, the Tiramisu was some of the worst I've ever had. It seemed almost a bit frozen, since the cream was very dense and not fluffy at all. Same for the biscuit. Also, barely any coffee taste. In addition, it is way overpriced, especially if you eat at the table. Yes, there is a small visible menu with the listed prices, but there are better an cheaper places, so I would not go there again.
Breakfast was very good, but the male toilet had no toilet seat and no paper, which is cheap for a 18€ breakfast.
No vuelvo menudo palo en otros sitios lo mismo por la mitad de precio SaleS escaldado
We order a birra (cerveja-chopp) but they served a liquid with no taste, color, gas or anything similar a beer. It seems to be the water they used to clean the machine. We complain to the waitress and asked another bottle of beer. They charged all.
Carissimo! Prezzi troppo alti. Staff fa sentire a disagio. Non consiglio assolutamente. Meglio altrove. Way too expensive, better you sit at a bar near the main dome square and get served there, works out cheaper! Staff stares at you and makes you feel uncomfortable. Avoid!
Pahalı ve kötü
We arrived in Florence very early and many businesses were off which seemed to be on google but we had the chance of seeing Cafe Alinari with the lights on and the magnificent scents. The experience of croissant and Cappuccino, an Italian classic, and the sincerity of the employees within, made us very happy. It was a good start for our trip to Florence.
Although it looks good from the outside, food is bad, bland, too sweet, service is also bad, they overcharged us and didn't even care to figure out how it happened. Don't spend your time or money here.
I adore this location. I discovered it years ago while studying in Firenze because I was craving authentic Napolitano sweets. A real treat in Florence!! I always stop here because the pastries are delicious, and the coffee is wonderful. Yes, perhaps, like in ALL bars, it is better to have quick service at the bar if you are on a budget, but the service and quality are second to none.
This café is scam. 6€ for a glass for orange juice, 5€ for two small glasses of water when we didn’t even order it, and 3,50€ for Croissants when it’s like 2€ everywhere else. Anyway for litteraly almost nothing for breakfast we had a 25€ check at the end, just watch out for your wallet.
Vergognoso! 4 dolcetti tra cui un tiramisù scongelato al microonde divenuto caldo, 29,6€. Tra l’altro i due bagni non disponibili ma il lavabo si, che strano. Che figura di emme.
