Great time to go is around 3pm. Great seating with a spectacular view of the water. Lots of boating to view and polite servers. I had usual salmon and daughter had crab cakes. The lobby was very inviting and spotless! Felt good to be there.

Fantastic place to get off from the water taxi. Trolley in your own boat or park in the parking lot. This place has great food at a decent price. The servers seem to enjoy their job. The restaurant is well-kept yet rustic. We love to go and feed the huge tarpon’s and jack fish that are in abundance right in front of the restaurant. You can get gas for your boat. You can buy bait for a days fishing Or simply get something to eat and enjoy the scenery.

Fantastic lunch here by the water. Service was very good and the selection of food was wonderful. A lot of boating activity to watch as you visit and eat.

Absolutely amazing food and drinks. We had a 5:30 reservation and upstairs portion of the restaurant was empty (which is odd because open table gave me hell to book a table) but our server was extremely attentive, the drinks were strong and flavorful and the food was great. The ambiance upstairs was also extremely fitting for a night out with friends/family or a date night. Can’t speak for downstairs but it seems more casual. Also really nice to see the tarpon but I didn’t feed them - next time!

We visited for Christmas Eve dinner and enjoyed the calamari as an appetizer, Korean BBQ sea bass and the grilled branzino. All food was amazing but what took everything to the next level was the amazing yule log dessert the chef made special. It was gorgeous and delicious! The meringue mushrooms and moss cake crumbs - adorable! The staff is fantastic as well!

I enjoyed this one so much that I ate here 3 times during a 2 week job at the Fort Lauderdale convention center. The seafood is fresh and delicious! I liked their spicy slaw on the grouper sandwich (ask for it, it's not on the menu). The peel and eat shrimp was tender. And the desserts are fabulous too. It's on the water so there is a nice atmosphere with live music and people enjoy feeding the tarpon that hang out around the dock. I don't drink but there's a bar, as well as outdoor and indoor seating. It's dog-friendly. You can hop on the water taxi from the dock. And if you really want to go upscale, ask for the upstairs seating. It's hidden so use your GPS to find it. Well worth the visit for both tourists and locals!

Best food I’ve had all week. Joe’s Skillet was just like the Seafood platter but without the pasta, it was the perfect amount of food and so delicious. Miles was one of our servers, we had 3 taking care of us. I felt like a superstar. Great atmosphere! My friends had the fish tacos! They said they were really good. We shared the alligator and it’s worth getting. The flavor was great. Loved this place!! Highly recommend!

Came here with my coworkers to celebrate a big day for our company and we had a great time. It’s pretty cool how they have all those big fish right there and you can feed them. Seeing how massive they are so close was crazy. We were a big group and they treated us like VIP. They put us in a private room upstairs overlooking the Marina. The food was excellent. I had the tropical salad and added a piece of salmon and it was delicious. Finished off with a cappuccino and I loved the fact that it came with a sugar stick. Our waiter was also very patient and welcoming to our big group. Will be coming back.

We had dinner upstairs after not visiting for several years. This was a late Valentines celebration for us. Sad to say the restaurant has changed and not for the better. What was once a wonderful dining experience is now a casual eatery with subpar food. The outdoor seating is already casual so why do the same upstairs? We miss the bread baskets and the wonderful food and service. Now it’s not worth the high price to dine upstairs. We even asked if we could have a specific table as the restaurant was empty upstairs but we were rudely walked to the back of the last dining room with a limited view. What can i say? We both miss what we we once a wonderful place to dine. We won’t be back.

Table outside on a sunny December Saturday having walked up without a booking Got a spot right above the water downstairs Local draft beers were both excellent Three seafood starters were fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the coconut shrimp with an orange marmalade style dipping sauce. Great flavours Wonderful way to spend a lazy weekend afternoon watching the world go by Highly recommended

Highly recommend! Delicious food & wine served by friendly knowledgeable waiters in a beautiful ambiance! The marina view at sunset was beautiful. Stone crab & mustard sauce was the perfect start for our fresh grilled grouper. Unexpected surprise...bottles of wine were 1/2 off. First time trying chocolate creme brulee...I prefer original.

We had some good food today. The area the restaurant is in is perfect. Seeing all the boats drive by & docking right in front of you is a gem. This is a kid friendly restaurant as well. The fried shrimp where a nice size. Our server was nice and took care of us. You MUST feed the fish off the side of the dock. $5 & $12 bags of shrimp seems reasonable to me.🍤🍤🍤🍤

I liked the restaurant but I do have mix feelings, I had a coke and the glass wasn’t clean, it had mint leaves from the previous drink that who knows who that was. That was the only incident that I had, but the actual meals was amazing! Love them and flavors it’s was just really good.

The 15th Street Fisheries - main floor dock dining - offers wonderful views of the marina, boats, yachts, and water. The service was very good and attentive especially to remove finished plates quickly so the birds would not be a disturbance. The menu has many offerings but the food was not the greatest. The Caesar salad was interesting with sun-dried tomatoes and was not truly enjoyable. The Conch Fritters contained too much filler. The Tacos have a big serving but that only makes them a tad harder to ear. The grouper sandwich was good but a serving of tartare sauce would have been nice. Definitely a nice place to bring guests to enjoy the setting. One can arrive by car (complimentary valet parking), water taxi, or even by boat.

The food was well-seasonedand fair portion sizes. It was nothing to write home about, you know what I mean? But it was good. The well done steak was juicy and flavorful, fries nice & crispy. Seafood pasta was a bit busy but the flavors blended together well. The appetizers were as expected conch fritters, crab cakes & coconut shrimp. They were good. Didn't care for the conch fritter sauce though The service was okay, waitress was cordial explained the menu well and checked in on us as needed. She was tipped well. There was a leak coming from the ceiling, restaurant is a bit old & could use some updates. But overall a chill vibe. Love the koi pond at the entrance.

We loved the place and the view of this fish restaurant, but our reservation was not ready when we arrived. We had a drink at the bar (which closes at 9:30, unbeleivable!). Then, our servers were in some kind of a hurry. My dish, the Salmon was fantastic, but my son-in-laws fish, the Snapper, was very dry, as if it was ready before and kept under the lamp. Finally, they rushed to bring me and ice-cream sundae with a candle so my family could sing a 75 rpm "Happy birthday". Of course, we wanted to have something else at the bar, to no avail. It's a beautiful, cozy place, but I recommend arriving early.

I went along with a recommendation that proved to be very true to the description of the combined laid-back yet elegant and elevated ambiance, and I must say I was more than pleased and beyond satisfied with the selections, options and choices offered on the menu. The service was courteous and surprisingly fast! Very well worth the drive and wait for a table. Bravo! 👏

So we found out that the upstairs menu is the difference from the downstairs menu. This review is strictly for downstairs I may update after we try upstairs at a later date. See pictures for samples! Food was okay nothing to right home about we had the joe sizzlers sample shrimp, mahi mahi and salmon $27+ meal <-- I do not recommend it because it was not worth the price point, however it was not awful just not what you expected for $30 it tasted more like a $17 meal from a red lobster type of menu. Also we had the grouper sandwich the fish was very nice but the brioche bun was kind of hard, brioche should normally be very soft and smooth, it was not. Also we had the grouper fingers for the kids serving size feeds a half of kid 2+ it was ok but not as good as the grouper sandwich price difference was $9 vs $19. The vegetable side are ok but need light seasoning. Last the brownie dessert was a good 7 out of a 10 ranking and yes I've had a 10 out of 10 brownie before! For people who like moist brownie it half and half bready/moist a moist lover might give it a 8 out of 10. The servers are great very nice service 👌!! Next time we'll try the uppity upstairs menu The view is awesome day and night and it was a rainy day when we went. FYI you can also feed the fish on the boardwalk.

Good food, would have liked more options onthe menu. We ate on 1st floor, on the outside deck. View was very nice even in the rain. Valet parking was great especially in the rain.

This restaurant has a great tasty Sangria! Great place for seafood. Enjoy lunch or dinner with an amazing view to the bay. Don't worry about parking, the vallet is great. If you love live music, there's always someone there for the entertainment! Also, children will love the experience to see how the fish go crazy when fed. ✨️🍷

I have already been to this wonderful restaurant several times. Seafood is perfectly prepared. The mignon steak was divine. A great place to spend with friends and family. True, a little slow service, but if an interesting company, then you can wait. I recommend to visit.

This is old school Florida to a T. Located in the Lauderdale marina it offers some superb views of the water, the drawbridge and mega yachts. The service is super friendly and the live music adds such a great vibe. Food is really great. Seafood that a so fresh. Have a chill hang and watch the peeps and their boats go by.

We had dinner with a group of eight. They sat us upstairs with a great view of the massive yachts outside. Service was attentive and prompt. I got the swordfish with a side of lobster. Both were very tasty. Other members in our party enjoyed the filet and red snapper. Drinks were ok. If you are staying on the hotel strip I recommend taking the Water Taxi. Take the trip while there is still daylight to get great views of the insane mansions & yachts that line the waters. Watching the fish at the dock when you arrive is very entertaining.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was delish and the fish is really fresh. Went for a work lunch and they had enough options to make everyone happy. It is also on the water and I highly suggest sitting outside to watch the boats and the fish. Would return. Got the crab cakes and they were A+, if you are into rich people stuff there are a lot of large boats to look at.

Remarkably knowledgeable staff with full control and memory of menu with great recommendations. We brought our kids with us and they loved looking out upstairs windows at the passing boats. The food is absolutely delicious and thought we needed a tug boat to pull me out of there. After you eat at night stop and buy a bag of shrimp to throw into the green lit water for a cheap show!

Celebration my birthday. The food was amazing (we went there twice). We had fisheries salad, shrimp cocktail, scallops, swordfish, salmon bowl & lobster Mac and cheese. My only suggestion would be the lobster Mac and cheese should be a side not an entree.

Very nice and calm atmosphere. The views from the windows were amazing. We were watching gorgeous yachts and boats. We ordered one of the seafood salads, but I wasn't satisfied. But crab cakes were delicious! Service was good

Really awesome vibe there! Feeding the tarpon & other fish was amazing. Such a unique place. The food was also great. Had fish taco, a key lime pie dessert & fish dip entree. Good cocktails too!

Quick trip to Fort Lauderdale this weekend to celebrate my birthday and our first stop was 15th fisheries and it should be yours as well. Beautiful environment located on the inter coastal with all the views you’d hope to see. And to make that view better was amazing food and service. We started with the clams which came with two pieces of grilled bread to soak up the wine sauce - chefs kiss. Next we had the southern version of a vegetable - the wedge salad - crisp and covered in creamy dressing and finished the night off with the scallops and orzo pasta. I don’t think you could make a bad choice with their menu but all of our selections were top choice. They even brought dessert for our celebration 🎉

Feeding the fish was great, although a little dangerous. People drinking on the docs while the kids tried to feed the fish around them and the water seemed deep. We were quoted an hour to be seated, then it changed to an hour and 45. Not good with little kids. Take the kids to see the fish and dine with them elsewhere. The food was good.

Excellent place to take a good break and enjoy every moment there. The ambience, the FOOD, and the service are EXCELLENT. The servers were very polite and attentive. The food was served at the right time. We didn’t have to wait much to be served and we arrived on a Saturday at 7:15 pm with no previous reservation. 👍🏻 We loved this place and we will definitely go back. Ah, prices? EXCELLENT, too!!

Came for late lunch and there was no crowd. The atmosphere is great and staff was friendly. Calamari appetizer was really good. Also tried the shrimp tacos, clam chowder and lobster roll - all of which were really yummy. Great views of the water and boats. For the kids you can fish the fish for 25cents. I would definitely go back for sunset. Theres a little souvenirs shoo as well where you can buy shirts, snacks and nick nacks. Bought 2 shirts - great quality. Overall, thank you for the great food and fond memories!

AMAZING NIGHT AND AMAZING STAFF. We arrived 15 minutes late after our reservation and called to let them know. The hostess was honest with us and let us know they may not be able to accommodate (at least they were honest) THEY CALLED US BACK twice to ask if we were still going to be able to make it and we did. It was our anniversary night and they had a beautiful card awaiting us. The service and food was amazingggggg they serviced us even though they were closing (we felt bad but they didn’t even seem like it was a problem) they brought us out an amazing anniversary desert STILL. I just want to thank you guys for making the night so special and i would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic night dinner (before closing) or beautiful day by the water. Thank you guys.

Don't overlook this place. The food is incredible. The service is friendly . The view is fantastic. A favorite when my granddaughters come into town. They enjoy getting frozen shrimp from the marina next-door and feeding the tarpon.

I had the Joe's Sizzler Skillet Fresh Fish / Shrimp / Bay Scallops / Tomato / Artichoke Hearts / White Wine & Sherry Cream Sauce on a sizzling cast iron skillet / Fresh Ciabatta / Parmesan. Also added a side of spinach and southwestern rice. Very good dish. Very filling. Seasoned well. Will definitely order again. Good choice of wine. My drink of choice was the Virgin strawberry lemonade. Absolutely delicious. Very attentive servers as well.

I’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times and every experience has been amazing. The staff are about as friendly as you can ask for and the food is amazing. Liz served us last time. She’s great! We always get the snow crab claws to start. They’re awesome and a nice was to set the tone. The crab cakes and mahi tacos are also favorites. Really don’t think you can go wrong though. Highly recommend!!

Service was impeccable as I was seated promptly and had a beautiful view. The fact that they had a live band made the experience so much more fun. Definitely a great place if you love shrimp and grits or a good mojito! They also made it special for my birthday perfect for a solo traveler or a couples night out 10/10 definitely will be back soon!

What an amazing experience dining at the upstairs dinner at 15th Street Fisheries! All things we’ve tried was fantastic. You can tell that the chef at the kitchen really did put attention to their creations. The most juicy and tender fried Calamari! Our waiter Alfred was attentive and entertaining. Left thinking about when should we come back to try the downstairs dockside dining experience. Complimentary valet is helpful.

  • 5/5 Tim B. 1 year ago on Google
My wife loves seafood so I looked for something near our hotel that I thought she might like. 15th Street Fisheries was nearby and the reviews were great so we went. There is an “upstairs dining” option that I was told was a little closer to “fine dining” when I called an asked about it. It was going to be my wife and four school aged kids and I wasn’t looking for fine dining. So we ate in the main dining area which was great. We sat outside right next to the dock. It was great. My wife loved it and my kids ate everything on their plate which is not always the case. They loved feeding the Tarpon and the live music was a single guy and he sounded awesome. Choosing this place made me look like I knew what I was doing. Definitely recommend.

  • 3/5 Bryan D. 1 year ago on Google
Good food right on the docks in a lively atmosphere. The food was tasty with lots of fresh seafood options and the waterside location was nice with good weather. If you sit outside it can get very busy with lots of people moving around. Feeding the fish is a fun way to kill some time while waiting but you have to purchase the shrimp separately. A fun evening out overall.

  • 4/5 Verónica M. 1 year ago on Google
Loved this restaurant. Walked around their dock to watch people feed the many Tarpon fish of all sizes. Had drinks in their bar and then headed up to the dining room with lots of windows and views of the water and the yachts. Our meal was top notch and so was our waiter. We ordered 2 bottles of fine red wine, appetizers: tomato soup, fish spread with vegetables, shrimp & grits and a complimentary plate of cheese bites. All were very good. Our entrees were superb: Sea Bass with sweet mashed potatoes and green beans; Cario Fish and Halibut dinners. Vanilla ice cream for dessert. What an enjoyable day of good food and atmosphere.

Loved the atmosphere! The food was amazing! The wine selection is also extensive and suited to different budgets and very palatable. Our waitress was great, very attentive and patient, did not rush us into ordering , the service was on point.

Second time at this spot. First time we ate downstairs and left us feeling meh and underwhelmed. fast forward to this trip I made a reservation for the upper restaurant NOT realizing it was the same place from our 2022 visit. On arrival there is complimentary valet as parking is hard at the end of the road area the restaurant is. I'm so glad I made this mistake as the upper dining room is worlds better (food/ambiance). We had a water view table in the back room and were met with drinks and menus. Husband ordered fresh Grouper and I had the scallops with orzo pasta. Both were fresh, full of flavor and not overly seasoned or oily. Kids menu was expansive enough for our picky eaters and coloring menus kept them happy. Service was a little slow for our taste on a light Tuesday night at 8pm and by the time we had dinner and she pried us for dessert it was 9:20 and we were over it. I would recommend for those who want fresh large servings with bright flavors and interesting compositions.

5/18/23- I was told to try this place. I was seated right away. The view is great. Parking is easy if you use the complementary valet. I ordered Joe's Sizzler Skillet when I read shrimp 🍤 That is the main reason. I don't like artichokes or care for parmesan cheese, but I try it all to get my shrimp. They were both good and I enjoyed it. My disappointment was the dish had two pieces of shrimp. When I pointed it out to my server he said, "Well, they give you a lot of fish." He may be right, but if you're including shrimp in the menu, add it. The sauce is similar to a bisque and I can get this meal at the Red place. I don't recommend this dish at this price if you want to eat shrimp. I did not appreciate a smart a$$ answer. I felt he didn't care because he knows we're tourist's. I'm here for 30 days, his lack of effort to make it right or be polite earned them a 3 🌟 I fed the Tarpon, which you can do without eating here.
