What a wonderful restaurant!! My wife and I had dinner there while passing through town Sits right across from the beach, with indoor seating, and wonderful outdoor seating. They've created a very comfortable atmosphere Service was top notch. Everyone was nice, and our server was very attentive Started with a French onion, along with the house bread basket. Both were delicious. For my entree, I had the rosemary chicken pasta; it was delicious! My wife had the walnut chicken and said it could be one of the best meals she's had Highly recommend

Gorgeous!! …. !! This beautiful converted home from the 20s is gorgeous in every way. The spiral staircase, The little balconies, each different dining room. The Hostess as she takes you to your table, tells the history of this place. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the upper level balcony we were able to enjoy the Beautiful views of the Ocean. We had just enough of the sun to keep us warm on this lovely chilly day. The waitress, was very friendly and accommodating! The food was prepared, and plated perfectly. You must try the Marzipan cheesecake, Delicious! Definitely my all-time favorite! Looking forward to coming back to this rare and exquisite fined .

Casablanca already had great reviews which was why I gave it a try. I have to give it my 5 stars as well. Place was conveniently located near Westin Hotel and has ocean views. Server and all staff were pleasant and had us seated and with waters very quickly. Prices are very reasonable in comparison to other closeby establishments. They also don't add the service charge unless it's a party of 6 or more. Food was overall very very good. Mahi Mahi with potatoes were the highlight and the grouper was a good choice as well. Mine was a touch over cooked for my liking but others who tried it said it was great. Deserts were delicious: key like pie.. Best I've tried. Cheesecake absolutely delicious. Drinks were good.. wine is over priced but that's a restaurant ploy as they make money off of the female drinkers and men thinking they will get some.. but overall a fantastic choice for the evening. Only only drawback is the street noise as the loud bikes and cars drive by.. but that's just beach strip life. 100 bucks for 2 people. Went back again next day as it was so good. Food was superb next day and there seems to always be seating available.

Dined at Casablanca on Sunday for brunch in celebration of my best friend’s birthday. Service was excellent. We shared a beet salad & she had a crab cake & Molten Lava cake for dessert. Appreciated the server was in tune with the nut allergy we share - desserts, esp. chocolate can be “tricky.” Food was timely & well prepared, probably the best beet salad I’ve ever eaten. The presentation of the dessert was lovely & the fresh berries on the whipped cream was a pretty, artistic touch. (Unfortunately, did not enjoy the coffee, was somewhat bland.) Cleanliness this day was a bit of an issue & the restroom facilities are inadequate for the size of business. However, overall, a very positive experience & we’ll definitely be back. 👍

Delightful Mediterranean restaurant with two outdoor patios and a small balcony with views of the ocean. The inside of the restaurant is decorated in a beautiful classic hybrid of Spanish and Middle Eastern styles. In addition to the first floor dining rooms and bar, there is an upstairs with two additional dining rooms. The menu is a mix of a variety of dishes from the Mediterranean. A selection of beers, including a few imports from Morocco, and specialty cocktails are available to complement your meals. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. I added the lamb, which was tender and delightfully seasoned, to the Greek salad. This was not on the menu and a manager said it looked good and he might add it.

This is by far the best place we have dined in Fort Lauderdale!!! Ryan Smith was our server and he was amazing. So attentive , knowledgeable and nice. We had questions about places to go and visit and he shared so much great info . Ryan alone is worth coming back but the food was also phenomenal and the view from the terrace overlooking the ocean Cant be beat!! If you are looking for a great breakfast , lunch or dinner COME HERE.

My friend and I went here for dinner this evening. It was a lovely evening out. Our waitress was wonderful. SORRY BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER HER NAME. The manager Greg was a very kind and helpful person. Our meals was delicious. I had the Lamb Shank it was very good. My friend had the Ravioli. She loved it. I also ordered the Escargot. It was 👍 👍 👍. I will definitely go back here whenever I am in South Florida again.

Hey now! If you want great service and excellent food, stop here and enjoy. The general manager, who is also the wine curator dude was super nice and helpful. He took care of us big time. The bartender waitress Katie was very sweet and hooked us up with what we needed so quickly it was unreal. She was awesome! The food was great! Entertainment was awesome. She played so many good songs!

By far our favorite spot for dinner when we visited back in April. The food was so good the first night, we actually went back the second night to try all new dishes. Can’t say enough about our server Joel either. So attentive, recommendations were on point, and had a great personality.

My wife and i were down for a weekend. The name captivated our attention, and the menu confirmed our selection of the restaurant for the night was potentially going to go well. Four of us in the party, prompt friendly service, nice beach view, a wonderfully unique mix of flavors, fresh ingredients that had each of touting, you should try this.

They had beautiful outside seating . There was inside seating as well. But with the views why seat inside. I had my tiny Yorkie with me .there was no problem. They even brought out a dish for water . The food was also delicious. Others came with their dogs as well. It was a great experience. Another great meal and wonderful service at the beach .

Casablanca Café- One of my most favorite spots for many years. Fantastic lunch menu daily specials close to the beach beautiful view and always top notch service. Margaritas delicious Lexie always a pleasure to have her wait on you. Our hostess today went out of her way to assist others trying to go down the steps for seating. Employees like that should be rewarded for going out of their way. Attention management do you have fantastic crew and you can tell they enjoy working at a find establishment..

Beautiful building with a cool history. The quality food was a little mixed. The upstairs dining area is cool. Staff is friendly, service is good, the weak spot is the food. However, only here once. Beautiful location and view.

Excellent choice for any meal. The location overlooking the ocean is enhanced by the charming setting. Authentic Moroccan decor. Menu is very nice & prices are very fair. Apparently no reservations but we were seated immediately for 1pm lunch The service is very good. The Mahi handheld was awesome as was the shrimp salad Louis. Fresh seafood with fresh vegetables. Excellent choice

Casablanca always is packed in Fort Lauderdale when I pass it on the way to my hotel for work, so me and a few coworkers decided to eat here for my birthday. The liked the drink that I had, but I don’t remember the name of it, the food took a while to come out, I got the blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich, it’s was okay, the French fries was cold (on both dishes). My friend had the fish and chip, I did not try it and my other friend had the chicken pasta and that was good. For a appetizer we had calamari, and although I’m not a real fan of it , it was okay I just wish it was a little crispier.

Honestly a phenomenal experience. It was Saturday evening and, of course we had to wait for a table. They were slammed. If you are not here to enjoy an experience, and you are in a great big hurry to eat then go, this is NOT your place. If you enjoy a wonderful, fun atmosphere, and amazing food, spending time with your loved ones, that special someone, or your friends, this place is beyond fantastic. Yes, it is moderately loud, because it is a piano bar after all. AND THE FOOD! I had the special which was the swordfish, and my wife enjoyed a walnut encrusted chicken dish. When you go to one of those chain restaurants, they put pictures of food on the menu—and of course the food never looks like that at the table. THIS PLACE, no pics on the menu, but when the kitchen is slammed and our food came out looking like the cover of Bon Appetit Magazine??? WOW!

We were in the area and wanted to give this a shot. We were seated outside, overlooking A1A, which was great for people-watching. The atmosphere is phenomenal. But, our particular server had a lot to be desired. Our server could have been more attentive. This was unfortunate because the other tables around us had very attentive servers. The food was ok; nothing to go out of your way for. The fries were completely overdone and hard as a rock. We would have gotten new ones, but our server could have been more attentive, which is our reoccurring theme in this review. Our food, chicken wrap and some form of a chicken sandwich, was eh ok. Both of them came out cold, and the chicken wrap barely had any chicken in it. Nothing to write home about. Have I had worse, absolutely. Have I had better, for sure, I have. This was a solid three-star meal for being near/on the water. Had it not been on the water, the rating would have dropped. But on the "eating on the water/near the water scale," it's a 3.

shout out to the greatest server, mike c. never have i met and dined with a more hardworking, kind, detail-oriented restaurant employee. seriously. above and beyond. yes the food, drinks, and atmosphere with live music are amazing but the customer service that was bestowed —unmatched. mike c, thank you for an incredible dining experience! graham is the best bartender. beth, the beautiful singer has the best voice and sets the already awesome vibe. in short, come here.

Casablanca Cafe stands out for many reasons, and in a good way. Physically, the 1920’s Spanish style building is a welcome difference among the many modernized oceanfront restaurants in the area. The house-like exterior draws you in, as if you are going to eat with a rich friend at their grand villa. While no friend of mine owns the restaurant, the staff treated me like family. My server, Mike, was memorably excellent. He was friendly and attentive. It was clear Mike knew the menu well, and he was able to offer suggestions to best suit my palate. Additionally, manager Greg made his presence known, and made sure my dining experience was up to the Casablanca standard. I’m certain I would have enjoyed any dish, but I’m glad I chose the grouper. I’ve eaten many meals with grouper, and the one I had at Casablanca was the best, by far. The dish showed a careful selection of flavors such as curry, and textures such as nuts. An interesting element came in the form of edible flowers, detailing just how meticulously the dish was crafted. On top of the best service and meal I’ve had in Fort Lauderdale, the live music furthered the home-like dining experience. I recommend Casablanca for a special occasion dinner, or a casual dinner. I had a great experience here, and I’m sure you will too.

Excellent location, sat on patio, street side. Hot evening but the ocean breezes were cool. Joel our waiter was excellent. Super attentive & charming. Happened to visit on wine Wednesday so we enjoyed a bottle of red at 1/2 price. My husband had Brie wrapped in phyllo loaded with fruit. I had the mussels. The mussels were small in size but it’s blue cheese, sun dried tomato broth was differently delicious. The eggplant ravioli was so good. My husband had the walnut chicken that he enjoyed very much. The appetizers & mains were superior to the dessert, but overall a great experience & highly recommend it. All the people there were very hospitable & gracious. Great walk over from many of the area hotels. It does feature live music (piano) and I was happy we sat curbside far enough from it so I was able to carry on a conversation easily.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The history of the building was great to hear and the location was wonderful. The staff and food were absolutely delightful. The view of the beach made everything better as well.

Had a company retreat in Fort Lauderdale and Casablanca was right down the road from our hotel - we came here two consecutive days and were treated so well! I believe our servers name was Joel, and he was extremely accommodating to the 20-30 of us. Drinks were great and the view of the beach was beautiful.

Food is so so so Good is amazing, the staff is very very very kind, especially David and Greg, they are amazing! The view is stunning. I went with my husband and it was so romantic 😍 (You have to try their calamaries and shrimps)

Wonderful place with great cuisine and piano bar atmosphere. Yoshi was nice and provided a great service Ocean view, nice music, European style interior. Loved it. Brie was 5 star dish, steak and scallops were also good. Steak would benefit from having a sauce, while scallops would benefit from not having a sweet sauce, as they were wonderful on tbeir own. Will come back again!

First time going there, love the location and the decor. The lady that served us was very nice but nothing extras, just simple server. Had the fish taco’s and it was very blend, no taste to it really, no cilantro or lime to it either lol but the rice and beans on the side had some good flavour to it. The juice was very little amount given, in like a little cocktail glass instead of a reg water glass. I would go back to try something else because it did look good and I would recommend it as well.

Great food and service from Corey. I never thought I’d eat soup in 90+ degree weather, but it was well worth it. If you can get a seat on the balcony, take it! The view was spectacular!

Was soooo good! Has the best experience here. The food was amazing. We got to sit outside and the view is incredible. The whole place has an old time feel that just makes you feel at home. The staff was incredible. Definitely recommend getting reservations, it can get really crowded!

No wonder that there is always a line next to this restaurant. There is always an incredible view that will create an unforgettable and unique experience for a visitor. I would highly recommend to try a clam chowder and ask a server to make a peril spritz for you (+- $13) that is not in the menu buy they’ll do it for you. The service is pretty slow there. However, I think that the visitors are not in a rush and are ok to wait and enjoy the view.

We enjoyed so many amazing dishes here for dinner! As you can tell, each dish is beautiful in appearance but more importantly, everything tasted fresh, authentic and delicious! The Dijon trout and chili-dusted scallops were phenomenal and the Beet salad was exceptionally good for my first time trying. The Mahi Mahi was also amazing, we loved the sides as well (julienne cut veggies were perfect texture) We will come here again whenever visiting Ft.Lauderdale!

This time here for birthday celebration with family friends, friends that are as loved like family! Had extra special attention service that just went over the top! Food was awesome as usual but the highlight was the people watching -not much going on but the Manager, Greg, made sure to keep our sight up by walking by so we could make some ride comments or judgments. All in all a great night as usual the best restaurant on the beach, location is fabulous and the ambiance tops it all off to a great way to start my birthday celebration! Live music is always the best too! Danny was very pleasant, great server, watch out Joel we have a “go to!” We missed you though! Greg, great job as usual! Chris congrats on the promotion!

Really great restaurant with a great ocean view! A great lunch and happy hour destination. The lamb pita is fantastic and the salads are super refreshing. Sun Kind of Living loves small plates. What better way to experience a variety of food without getting flavor fatigue?!? With small plates on the happy hour menu and the great view this restaurant is truly a slice of heaven in Fort Lauderdale.

Amazing location, beautiful historical building, great food, great service. My only complaint is they don’t take reservations so we waited an hour for our table. Fortunately the weather was perfect, with a light ocean breeze at 7:30 PM.

A wonderful place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner on the beach. We came here to have breakfast on Sunday around 9am. It wasn’t too busy. We were sat immediately. Our waiter was wonderful. We sat outside. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. Even though it’s summer, there’s a nice breeze, and sitting in the shade it was very comfortable. The prices are very reasonable! The most expensive thing on the breakfast menu was the steak and eggs for $18. That’s exactly what our hotel wanted to charge for Continental breakfast. We both ordered a shot of espresso. I ordered the salmon bagel. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary along with the egg sandwich. I wished that they had a variety of bagels to choose from, like whole wheat or everything. They only had plain. That’s fine. It comes completely disassembled. A side packet of Philadelphia cream cheese, a toasted bagel, red onion, large capers, salmon and tomatoes on a bed of arugula. I would have also liked a lemon wedge with it. No biggie. It was very good! Everything was really fresh. For $13, it was a great deal! My husband’s egg sandwich came with home fries. He ate everything. He said it was really good. Less than $10! What a bargain! Much more tasty than the oatmeal and yogurt offered by our hotel! And we had a gorgeous view with the ocean breeze on our faces. Our total bill was $35 before tip. No wonder this place has such great reviews. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning.

Absolutely loved loved loved this experience. Indoor and a lot of outdoor seating. This place had location, view and the best servers. The food is great. The view is great and it’s just a great vibe. Do not leave this place before trying the Marzipan Cheese cake. OMG!

The Lamb shank was very tender and the scallops were delicious! The escargot was prepared well but chicken dish was just okay - chicken was a bit dry. The crab cake appetizer was mostly breading. The black bean and corn salsa with the cream cake was very good but I'm from Maryland, home of the best crab cakes in the world, so it's tough to live up to those standards. Even so, I've had much better! Overall, food was mostly very good, I would go back again.
