Absolutely terrible service. The people who work at the grind are so rude. Even to the students who work so hard every day to do their best in class and literally give them their paycheck. They still won’t even look you in the eye after you talk to them nicely. One of the workers stared me and my son down after he made a special request in an order and I saw them spit in my food and I was denied a refund. Not to mention another person I know has found hair in theirs. This staff truly needs to be disciplined and held accountable for their actions.

Excellent food, menu somewhat unique and very fair prices. Don’t be put off by it being part of church complex. It is totally devoid of any connection with religion.

This place is like one of the hidden gems in Fort Lauderdale. Since it is located in the premises of the church, we call it "The Church". The food here is awesome. I have been there twice and loved it. Staff is nice and ambience is great. The prices are also very reasonable. The only thing is that most days they are open till 3 p.m. only.

Maybe the best Church restaurant out there. They server gourmet food at a super adorable price. They have gourmet 12" pizzas for 9$ to amazing taco bowls. I highly recommend it if your going to the church or not.

Mel is an amazing server! He made my daughter and I feel very welcome. We had never dined at the grill before and he was kind enough to suggest the pizza. We opted for the avocado toast to start. 10 out of 10, highly recommended! We also got the shrimp garlic pasta and Chimichurri chicken with a side garden salad. This place was so good I had to do my review while waiting for dessert! Ask for Mel he is the best even through he is a man of few words!!

We had a great server. We had a large group and each one got a separate bill and our server was very patient and polite. The food was great and inexpensive. Totally recommend it.

The food was decent - but the place is connected to a church and does not serve alcohol and was playing jesusy music the whole time. It was quite interesting…felt very weird to be an outsider dining there. Good pizza tho! But too catholicy for me :)

I have been enjoying this amazing hidden gem for a few years now. The food is consistently awesome. I always look so forward to eating there. The menu is creative and everything is so uniquely tasty and always cooked perfectly. So good!! Kudos to the chefs and staff. Everyone is truly wonderful. My favorite breakfast by far was the Churrasco Steak and eggs ! BEST thing I ever ate ! Hands down my favorite breakfast and lunch spot !

Really enjoyed the chicken curry soup, and the apple bread pudding was excellent, the havana-rito lunch pork with rice beans and terrific pico de gallo was huge portion and really tasty. Would definitely go back. Prices very reasonable.

The food is delicious, the restaurant is always clean, the venue is beautiful, and the staff is always friendly and eager to help. The fact that so much of the proceeds are donated to charity also is a major plus. Definitely worth a visit if you're on the fence.

Usually their dinners are awesome! But their breakfast was lacking in service and in temperature-the food was cold-eggs, bacon, toast, French fries (no home fries as advertised in menu and early after 9am service not later morning or afternoon), the coffee was cold too and the waiter always seems to be in a rush and bothered. Very surprising especially with waiter who I unfortunately have as server a few times now. Normally I don’t like to give negative reviews especially with my church, but had to be noted this time.

Modern decor with a welcoming and luxurious feel and vibe. The music is leveled at the right volume not impeding conversations. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Very relaxing setting.

I love coming to The Grill for several reasons. Staff and service are always friendly, even when they're very busy. They won't rush you out as soon as you finish your plate and are very family-friendly. The food is always delicious and offers options for every taste and lots of dietary restrictions. I like that they accept reservations on OpenTable, too.

This was my first experience with Calvary Chapel and The Grill. My neighbor invited me to Saturday Service, and then dinner afterwards at the Grill. The whole evening was an amazing mind-blowing experience. I made reservations, but got involved after the Service, so of course we were 20 minutes late. The staff bent over backwards and soon we were seated. Our server was a young gentleman by the name of Javier, and I have never had better service in any restaurant anywhere. It was a little late, and the place was busy, nevertheless our food was quite delicious and arrived in a timely manner, with no problems. Javier really bent over backwards to make sure that we were happy. There's plenty of variety on the menu for everybody, and I could not believe how reasonable the prices were! The decor is modern, spotless, and very pleasing, and casually elegant. The ambiance was a little bit noisy, but then again what would you expect on a full, spirit filled Saturday Night. I look forward to doing this again and hopefully on a regular basis! It really was a wonderful experience and I cannot express what a great job the entire staff did! First time here! Good food at reasonable price..Nice atmosphere and friendly staff

The Grill is closed until remodeling is done. The cafeteria next door is open with certain breakfast items only. Drinks are ala carte if you don’t want coffee. The normal plate is french toast or omelette. It comes with one side only not like The grill restaurant. Everything is ala carte starting at 3 dollars upto 4. Spent 47 dollars no tip on what you see. At the grill a pizza, breakfast for me and drinks would have been 30 dollars plus tip. They a not showing the menus with prices at the door. Only when you get to the register with a line behind you will you know. Food was cold on top of that 🤦‍♂️. On top of the amount I spent my kids refused to eat it because it was cold and not tasting right. 😞

The Grill is an outstanding restaurant not only because of the excellent food but also because it's a part of an amazing church, Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. What better way to spend a Saturday night, worshipping then walking over to our favorite eating emporium!

A hidden gem. The Grill has an outstanding lunch menu. Of note is the coconut chicken curry soup. To die for.

Have to say, I was impressed by the quality and taste of the food, how quickly it was cooked and served and the friendliness of how it was served. The ongoing attention of the server and all roving employees was excellent. There was a special mother's day menu and each item, early brunch, was perfect. Would definitely return

Went there after church today.. had a bad experience. I ordered hot coffee and husband ordered iced coffee. The menu offers 'coffee' at $2.50. Server failed to tell us that they don't have iced coffee, but they have the specialty cold brew coffee ($5). She brought Cold brew for him without telling us the difference, and by the time the food came both of our coffees were empty. I asked if we can have more coffee. She brought me hot coffee and just ignored my husband's empty glass. When she came back around later we asked if he can get another coffee. She said the cold brews don't have refills. I said we ordered iced coffee. I'm not sure she understood the difference (Iced coffees are normally the same price as hot coffee and have refills) but anyway we declined the refill at $5 a pop, and she just left my husband with nothing to drink the rest of the meal. Even if he had ordered the cold brew, the menu doesn't state no refills. I think this is a failure on the servers part for not explaining from the beginning when he ordered iced coffee. And also leaving someone with an empty glass their whole meal and not acknowledging it since there wasn't free refills on that drink. As a former server myself, this was a very a frustrating and disappointing experience. Server not doing their job, and also the restaurant not being clear in their menu. Not the best experience right after church service.

Great place for fellowship, with an amazing, loving staff and incredibly menu of delicious food.

It is located in the calvary church. Food was really good. It's open to the public and they don't charge tax. I love it. Pictures show the inside restaurant and also a food truck located out side to get to go.

I eat here 2-3 times a week. Fantastic food that rivals any nearby restaurant. It's a great space to grab a coffee and get some work done too. The service is always friendly and very fast. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality food. Absolutely go out of your way to eat here! You won't be disappointed.

I have always loved this place ever since it opened. I love their cookies and coffee.
