As I’m driving cross country, I treated myself to a traditional Saturday Night Texas Steak dinner. K-Bob’s Restaurant, a true Texas Roadhouse is damn well perfect. Restaurant was immaculate. Service was terrific. Management passed by to check if everything was fine. And the steak, the steak was perfect!!! A very good dining experience!!!

Really clean and good food. The staff was wonderful. My steak was cooked to perfection. Had a really good waitress. I do miss the big salad bar the used to have but other than that no complaints. Follow me for more reviews!!!!!!!

We stopped in on our way back from Big Bend. We were exhausted and needed something good to eat. We’ll, we found it! The restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly and everything we ordered was delicious! We had the rib-eye cheese fries, Chicken fried chicken, Fried catfish, 10 oz ribeye, and Kids chicken nuggets.

We stopped here for dinner as a recommendation from the camp host at Honey Badger RV Park and glad we did, as we love trying new places. Simple and yummy! Texas sized food and drinks! My husband got the meatloaf and I got a chopped salad. Everything was good and glad we stopped to check this place out. If you're in the area, this is for sure a place to check out!

This place has potential. Unfortunately one of our orders was completely forgotten and two there were incorrect. Burgers were over cooked and dry. Service was slow. Maybe just a busy day.

Very clean and spacious restaurant. The staff were very attentive and nice and the food was very good. Well seasoned food that I didn't feel the need for additional condiments. I discovered after my meal that there was a bar in the next room. I would definitely return here everytime I'm passing through Ft. Stockton.

We’re traveling from the Guadalupe Mountains to the Caverns at Sonora and decided to stop here due to the good reviews. Well… perhaps it’s a hit and miss because I read a lot of hits in the last two weeks, but ours was a miss. My husband ordered a 12 oz sirloin- medium rare with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. I ordered salmon with a side of baked potato and broccoli. Sometime later, my husband got his steak, but it was medium on the outside, and very rare in the middle. His mashed potatoes were good and very flavorful, but with tons of butter and the broccoli was OK. My salmon was cooked perfectly, and had a lot of flavor, but my baked potato was very dry, and did not have the chives that it was supposed to have. The broccoli was OK. We noticed that the tables around us, with people that had arrived after we did, receive roles. We did not get any rolls until after the waitress, Ray ray, asked how our food was, and I suggested that my husband tell her that the steak was not cooked properly. She took it back to get it cooked a little more, but it was brought back overcooked. My husband was hungry and we were ready to go so he just went ahead and ate it. We did get the rolls and they were absolutely delicious. It was the highlight of our dinner. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful, even though she didn’t come back and ask us if we needed any refills, but she was so kind and polite, that we are willing to overlook it. Will we come back? Nope! ** The waitress, was kind enough to discount half off of the steak, but noted on the receipt that we did not like it. It may not be a big deal, but it’s not that we did not like it, it’s that they did not cook it correctly. That’s a big difference. If it is supposed to be a steakhouse and they cannot cook a steak correctly, then it is not a steakhouse.

Nice and clean atmosphere. Pretty slow service for a Monday evening though. We also were not impressed with their beer selection and the old fashioned cocktail we ordered was definitely not a traditional old fashioned (lots of crushed ice and just chopped up orange and cherry pieces at the bottom of the glass). Food was decent. Highlights we're definitely the side of green beans, the onion rings, and the cobbler for dessert.

Man, I have been to a lot of restaurants in my travels. K-Bob's is most definitely top 10, and maybe top 5. This place is a definite stop in you are in this area. The salad bar is one of the best I've ever seen, so fresh and clean. The steak and baked potato were prepared so well and absolutely seasoned to perfection. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Charra ( not sure spelt correctly) was our waitress and she was awesome! She timed the entire meal perfectly and her suggestion were spot on. Hubs and I got a side salad and onion ring ( the best i think I’ve ever had) and both opted for the chicken fried steak. He chose the beans for a side, and I had the fried okra and broccoli casserole. We each shared our sides with the other, and to be honest it was way too much food if I had it to do again we would have ordered just one country fried steak and then just had three sides and just shared the country fried steak and veggies also wanted to mention that the fresh hot baked rolls that she brought out were melt in your mouth delicious. Didn’t have any room for dessert so I can’t help with any type of review on that all in all a definite 10 and would definitely go back

I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was dry and burnt. The cook had to know they burned it, they served it with the burnt side down. One bite and I was done. It was either yesterdays reheated or the cook doesn’t know or care about what they serve. The waitress was apologetic and they didn’t charge for it. On the plus the sever was great and the broccoli casserole was delicious. My coworker enjoyed his steak. Although that was dry on the tips. Maybe they serve the locals the better portions and fresher foods? The salad bar looked amazing.

We sat at the bar and were served 5 bottles of budweiser for$10 quickly by friendly staff! We had the flavorful, charred, 16oz. Cowboy Ribeye with a fresh tossed salad in a huge stainless bowl with a baked potato. Our food was delivered quickly with a side of warm rolls. So good, so hot and so filling!!! They have an outdoor seating area but it was super windy on this evening. We highly recommend this location and will watch for others a we are traveling!

Just passing through, spending the night at an RV park just east of town, and decided to give it a try. Turned out it’s prom night so the place was pretty busy. Practically no wait time to get seated and the staff is great. I had the fried chicken sandwich that was voted best in county. Actually quite good. My wife had the brisket and green beans. It tasted good but was kind of cold when it was served.

Overall good food. Salad bar is great. Service was great. Some dishes were ok, low flavored or under cooked. Waitress helped resolve food issues we had. I would eat here again.

My intention was to order a steak, but I was tempted by their chicken fried steak and their meatloaf. Meatloaf w/tomato sauce it was. Tomato sauce or brown gravy are the options. Took tomato on loaf; brown on mashed potatoes. The salad is more than enough for two. The waitress had a friendly disposition and just the right amount of follow up. I was happy with my visit.

This was my first time here . It was great! I loved the salad wagon option. Also, ordered bbq wings. We’re the best. Great place to bring the family, the prices are reasonable!

I have to admit my heart is forever broken about the salad bar but serving the side salad in a giant steel bowl with a standard 8oz helping of ranch dressing makes the loss seem survivable. Fantastic chicken fried steak hanging off the plate, fresh and crispy onion rings, and loaded baked potatoes sure make this Texas girl smile. Our server was friendly and efficient, thank you for an awesome dinner!

We stopped in on the fly and actually want to go back on our return trip! Greeted at the door. Server friendly and attentive. The cheese fries with steak pieces on top was gone in 30 seconds as it was the best I have ever had! All of our steaks, burger and chicken fried steak/fried chicken were seasoned and cooked to perfection! All if the sides were tasty: corn on the cob, baked beans, mac n cheese! Great large, round family style tables and booths. Thank you for exceptional service all around!

Best taco salad I've ever eaten! My husbands rib-eye was almost "cut with a fork" perfect, tender and juicy! I'm tempted to move here!

I ordered a medium rare steak, potato & broccoli. When I received my order, the steak was over done. Our waitress was very sweet and quickly brought me a new steak. Second time's the charm... delicious!

Apparently, this restaurant has been around for at least 50 years. They serve a little of everything and have a pretty nice bar to boot. Steaks, burgers, chicken, fish, and salad bar items are served here and it tastes pretty good. I had the ribeye and it was prepared perfectly. The staff is friendly and the service can get very busy but it's still good. The restaurant is very clean and bright. Great atmosphere for a meal.

We really enjoyed our time at K-Bob's! I ordered teriyaki chicken over rice, mashed sweet potatoes & my husband got meatloaf & mashed potatoes with brown heavy over all of it. Then we received a delicious basket of rolls. With butter & cinnamon butter. (Pictured) All of it was absolutely delicious! No joke! Very good & kind, helpful waitress. It was a really nice experience all around. Thank y'all so much!

The salad bar was adequate. The steak I ordered was prepared correctly but the butter on the menu was not served to me. The loaded baked potato was literally COLD all the way thru and the butter inside was cold and still solid!!! Their beer selection sucked! Only one Texas brew and it wasn’t even local! Very disappointing.

My husband and I stopped there on the way to Houston from CA. We were hungry and tired, and K-Bobs was perfect. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and fun. Thank you for warm bellies.

👍👍 The gal who served us was bubbly and fun to chat with but she also took care of all her customers. The morning cook checked on us at the beginning of his shift. The food was cooked very well. Prices are fair, too. There is room for RVers to pull in And turn around. Good place for breakfast!
