Nothing against the staff, D and Shannon (I can’t remember the other lady’s name I’m sorry ): ) were awesome, but this “hotel” is garbage. The computer system was down and Shannon had to check what rooms were empty from a piece of paper. But I had to go to three rooms before getting one that was empty and not occupied. There were so many people just loitering around the check in office and I felt so uncomfortable. When I finally got into my room it was absolutely disgusting. The bed skirt was torn, the drapes were musty, there were bugs on the ac unit, the bathtub was brown, the pillows were brown, I didn’t even sit on the bed while I had my mental breakdown trying to find somewhere else to stay. It was my own fault for not looking thoroughly into the place before booking, but I didn’t really think about it. However, when I finally calmed down enough and booked another hotel I went to return my key and, like I said, Shannon and D were so nice. I had a panic attack at the desk because I was so overwhelmed and D told me to breath and just calm myself. I explained the situation and Shannon cancelled my booking to refund me the money. Super nice people, but it needs everything else new. New rooms, new management. Sad. Will never ever book a place without actually, thoroughly looking into it. Also, lesson learned, never trust the pictures they post.

It was awful to say the least! It was dirty! There was like a black mark from a cigarette brushing against it... Bc it just brushed off... I'm not sure the bed was even fresh. The room was definitely lacking cleanliness for sure! Then when I went to check out after the insane amount of money they wanted for a weeks stay, they also wanted $100 refundable deposit! So as I'm checking out, they inform me that they do not have an envelope in their cabinet with my name or money in it... I proceeded to tell them that I have my paperwork & walked out to the car in freezing rain and dug through all of not only my things, but my toddler son's things as well to finally locate them in the trunk in a shoe box pushed all the way to the back of the trunk & buried under everything else! To be kind about it... It was overall just a horrible experience!

Only reason for one star was the clerk was very nice. Rooms smelled of cigarette and marijuana smoke, carpet was worn in places, and extremely dirty. Head board wasn't attached to the wall, outlet covers were missing, no effort to clear snow off walkway on the 2nd floor, floors had no floor mats to prevent slips and falls, bed skirt had a 3 corner tear that you could fit your fist through, no molding in the bathroom, would not use the shower because of the filth, television didn't work, the other 2 Wyndham properties between the Travelodge had well cleaned parking lots and walkways. I'll NEVER stay at another Travelodge and possibly any Wyndham properties

BEDBUGS!!! I have never wrote a review before but this hotel is the WORST hotel in the entire world hands down. The hallway is full of probably human piss stains. Everyone here is on drugs. Random people kept knocking on my door completely out of it. I found a bed bug in my room and when I reported it they acted like it wasn’t a big deal like they see them all the time. AND they refused to give me a refund. The staff kept saying I have to talk to their manager but give me no information for contacting him. I left down my info but of course I never heard from him. DO NOT STAY HERE. I swear I will never give anyone else a one star review because this is the only place that truly deserves it. Take your money and run far away from this place!!!

Front desk clerk could have had a clean shirt on and not cussed so much. The rooms should have extra blankets in them because of the thin comforter on the bed wasn't very warm. The room was clean

UPDATE: POLICE WERE CALLED original review: Trash. No light bulbs in lamps. Stains on the floor and no blankets. Halls and stairways reeks of cat/dog/maybe even human piss. Left some property in my room and returned the next day only to be told and I quote, “Well you signed a waiver so we’re not responsible”. Manager I refused to talk to me claiming to be on a business call. No security, no professionalism, no sympathy. If I could leave a 0 or below to rate the place, it is without a doubt in the negatives. Please don’t waste your money nor your time. Update: So after being told that the items missing from my room was not their responsibility(by the front desk) I had to return the next day, as suggested, to speak to housekeeping. They told me that they had probably had thrown the items away, so I went dumpster diving to find nothing but clothes, a good-condition laptop(with the charger and case), and some other personal items that, in my opinion, should’ve been in the lost and found. After sometime of giving me the run around, the manager, Tyler, scolded me for “keeping the employees from doing their job” (this was our first interaction after he refused to speak to me directly) and claimed that no one has my personal property. When I talked to a couple of staff members (who were ACTUALLY TRYING to help), they explained that this isn’t a rare occurrence. So I called the police and filed a report.

I came out to visit with family and this is where I stayed. The front desk staff were super friendly and cheerful. The breakfast was very good fresh coffee all day. I needed assistance at the pool and a gentleman named Robert was very helpful. I'm an elderly lady and he treated me with great kindness. He was very sweet. My room was clean and my bed was so soft. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The booking agency did not inform them of my need for a ground level room, and did not let me know that there was going to be an extra fee for my dog. Had I known this, I would not have stayed, as I have a bad knee, I have a dog, and I feel that I'm being penalized for having a dog that is not going to use electricity, water, or anything like that. The credit card on file is what will be charged for any damages, and those of us who don't damage because of our dogs are having to pay money out of her pocket for nothing. The location is very easy to find, although it is noisy because it was by the interstate. Nonetheless, there are many businesses nearby for food, shopping, and gas, which is nice. The heater was extremely loud and ran constantly whether it was putting out heat or not. The bed only had a sheet on it, it had neither a blanket nor a cover, so I had to use my own personal blankets out of my vehicle. Everything else in the room was clean, although the carpet was quite stained. The continental breakfast is good, although there were signs that said that we cannot take the food back to our rooms, which was unfortunate. I had to sit and eat my breakfast by myself in the seating area, which I really didn't have time for. That being said, the biscuits and gravy were quite tasty. I also had a Danish and some orange juice. This is a nice feature to have at a motel. I also like that the doors exit to the outside and not the hallway, although it would have been even better if I had the ground level room that I needed.

The only good thing about this hotel was the service. Killed 2 cockroachs before I could even finish giving my daughter a bath. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain, room was filthy, sheets were sticky, I'm sure there is more I'm missing. Room looked like they let a 5yr old try and remodel it. I only stayed in the room for about 20 min before checking back out. Stay away from this place at all costs. The pictures are from room 138

We were provided a room with large holes in the walls, a running toilet and no top sheet. The woman at the front desk says all the hotels are making up rooms with no top sheet. She refused to give a refund. All the positive reviews are probably fakes. Tap on a clip to paste it in the text box. There was garbage in the hallway, and the elevator was dirty and sounded like it was on its last legs. Another guest came to complain she was provided a room without a working lock.

The front desk lady was very nice and polite. the room was clean the down side to the hotel is that the TV in my room is broken and has no service to it so we aren't able to watch anything while staying here and all the furniture in the room looks like a fight had happened in the room. the Bed is the only thing that was nice and soft and didn't fall apart on us when we sat on it. The price they have on the site for being cheap is wrong you can stay at a nicer hotel for the same price as this one. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

Looks a lot better you can tell they're trying to make a change for the better, I would recommend staying here for anyone In the area especially for the price! Can't beat the price compared to the surrounding lodging that's offered this Is the best bang for your buck.

Probably the dirtiest room I've ever been in. I had no socks on and my feet were sticking to the floor and turned black. The place had a funky smell and the breakfast sucked. I checked out and went over to the Hampton. It's an ideal place for a crackhead though.

was in town for a business meeting decided to stay at this establishment was a great decision, the front desk person Jessica was very helpful and as she was telling me about the breakfast times and where my room was the manager Anthony came out and also informed me the pool was open and 24 HR!!! I travel a lot and you don't see 24hr pools very often the employees are great and a very nice experience keep up the great work.

I was impressed by the level of service that Tyler provided when I was in need for a last minute reservation. The lobby was very clean and welcoming, and the entrance from outside was very nice too. The other guests seemed friendly as well. Overall it’s a nice, safe place that clearly cares about service and cleanliness. Thank you so much, again!

This hotel was remodeled an looked nice, but bad management will run anything into the ground. Here for over a week, never , not one time did housekeepung ask to change sheets or bring trash can liners. They have a sign to take our own garbage to the dumpster an i had to take bedding off an take towels to lobby, for them to tell me they are not allowed to give out linens at night. Ive stayed in hotels all over the US. First time ive ever had to take my garbage to dumpster. They need to pay me for staying in this flea, bed bug infested room. It has not been kept up. No Covid sanatizing going on. Walls are dirty an rooms are condemed. Its not worth getting ate up by bed bugs.

My stay here was great. The staff were really friendly. Anthony and Tyler made my trip very enjoyable. They got me into a room that was very nice and my bed was very comfortable. I did notice that some of the hotel is outdated but they are getting it together.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and professional got my room figured out really quickly and were very accommodating. That is the only nice thing I have to say. The room was honestly the greasiest room I've ever had. The TV remote had no batteries the AC was constantly leaking into the carpet leaving the carpet eternally wet. There weren't enough outlets in the room to use all of the accomodations. Found this out after we went to get food. I got batteries from the front desk (who again were very helpful and nice) got up to the room and discovered the TV didn't work. Thought at first it was unplugged but no it just didn't work. There also weren't any wastebaskets in the room. So whatever I resign myself to suffer through the night as we are totally exhausted. Turn out the light( singular as there was only one that worked in the room) and am hearing this scratching sound. I get up because I think it's my cat but spoiler alert my cat is laying in the bed with us. The hotel staff(not the front desk staff) were sanding the doorframe until a little after 9pm. Oh and I'm pretty sure a bunch of people live at the hotel. I hope they didn't end up paying as much as I did for one night.

I've always loved the travel Lodge a big change from the last time I stayed here years ago. The Housekeepers are keep it 100 and the front desk staff works their butt off to make sure the guest have what they need Kudos to Anthony and Tyler and the rest of the travel Lodge staff for making this place feel as close to home as some of us can get. If you wanna affordable hotel with Wyndamn that serves a hot breakfast everyday then you can't go wrong with Travel Lodge

This place is a fantastic place! Great service! And the 4th night is free! The front desk help, Jordan was a great respectful man! I would tell any one that is looking a place, this is the place to be!

I haven’t been there in a couple yrs, but needed a place to stay. It’s changed for the better for sure. Looks like they remodeled the rooms recently. It was also a lot quieter and cleaner! The price was also very reasonable.

Semi renovated room new floor and comfortable bed warm tones in room, pictures hung not level at all in room though lol. Bathroom needs help, elevator was suspect but worked. Aldijana was amazing. Post covid full breakfast delicious. 24 hour juice and coffee. Nice stay, too bad pool wasn't open especially when other Wyndham property next door has indoor pool. Dissapointed my Wyndham rewards didn't work.

*Edited! Originally my husband and I thought that we had gotten a decent deal and thought the staff here was helpful. Yeaaa, no, not so much. Was told we were set for a Wednesday night through Saturday morning (on our “parking permit” stated for Saturday morning!) yet Friday morning comes and we’re told we have to be out or pay yet again though when originally checked in to multiple issues with our reservations. To boot, check your rooms in between guests and don’t blame the current customer for “damage” that was there before we got into the room. Yea this place is nothing but problems. Never coming back!

This place is the biggest dump I think I’ve ever stayed at lol. From the second I walked into this place, I felt disgusted with that thick smell of stale cigarette smoke, and stains all over the carpets and walls. I mean, unless you’re poor, and literally have nowhere else to stay. I’d stay as far away from this sheet hole as you can! I’d give no stars, if I could… this place is way beyond a renovation lol

Dirty, rundown and they overcharged me. I paid using a business account called 'clc' The guy asked for a card for incidentals, supposed to be a $50 hold on the card for a few days, and ended up charging me for the room on both cards. I tried contacting a manager several times and have left messages with the staff and never received a response. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Brian, Anthony and everyone were super helpful, understanding, and went out of their way to make sure my fiancé and I’d stay was amazing. This is our second time booking at this location, and since the new owner took over in January there is a night and day difference to this hotel. And you can’t beat the price!! If you’re looking for a comfy stay that’s affordable with great hospitality, this is the place to book! :)

No. No. No. We’ve stayed in some questionable places before. But, I think this one really took the cake. You could tell that no one cleans. Our room had so much dirt on the floors. I didn’t have to look too hard to find everything that was wrong. When there is masking tape holding up the bathroom mirror, it’s best just to go somewhere else. Oh, and somehow they rented the room out twice because another couple used their key to unlock our door and walk in. That was nice. 😐

  • 1/5 Linda A. 9 months ago on Google
The room was as clean as could be. However, being in that room for just 10 minutes, I ended up with a severe migraine. Neither my son nor I felt safe. The elevator barely worked. Was told by other patrons basically not to use the stairs because it's iffy if you can get the door open. All of the furniture in our room was damaged. After switching hotels, we found out this one has an extremely bad reputation.

The person behind the front desk was friendly and helpful and that is the good part. The room I stayed in needs some work done to it. The glass in the window was cracked from top to bottom and letting air in. The bathroom faucet was loose, there were holes in the wall were something was attached at one time. The room also had gouges in the wall and a stain of something in the corner that looked disgusting and the room smelled like weed. The TV remote did not work. The security door on the outside entrance was missing the lock. Look for a better place to stay at in Fort Wayne!

This place is awful. The manager Tyler has no idea what he is doing and is running this place into the ground. Sad to see they wrongfully terminated Anthony. There is mold in the bathrooms. Roaches on most the second floor. The one beam for the building is being held up by a ratchet strap. Me and my fiancé came here to help move in new furniture. They fired my dad while he was on vacation and with held my fiancés check from working at the front desk why we were there. Unprofessional and disgusting.

Let’s just start by saying, I booked SIX rooms here, for the 23rd-24th of September (this past weekend), and honestly it wasn’t that bad. I read the reviews and got worried, yes, but after going there myself, and walking through all of the rooms, I can say things were pretty good. The rooms aren’t the most glamorous, but you shouldn’t expect that for the price anyway. The beds were clean, the bedding was clean, all rooms had fridges and microwaves as well. Anthony and Michelle were A++++ as managers to be very serious! They both went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Michelle even dealt with us being drunk and laughing in the parking lot, and came out to join in conversation! The guests we booked rooms for aside from ourselves were fine with their rooms, minus two rooms missing towels but honestly we all got a good giggle about it 😂. Thank you Anthony and Michelle for being amazing hosts!

I've stayed at many hotels and motels but I keep coming back to this place every time I need a vacation, a break or even a place to stay. I absolutely love the staff, they do the absolute best. Everyone is kind and genuin and they always do whatever they can to help. The owner also takes pride in his hotel and in his staff. He is a down to earth guy and will do whatever he has to make your stay worth your while.

Stayed there last week, front desk people were rude. Especially the lady Saturday night. The bathroom toilet had hair and dried urine on and around it. I went to Walmart and bought bleach wipes just for that stay . Floor was dirty from the previous people. Neighbors were screaming and cursing at each other all night . I'm never staying there again

I stayed here two nights because of some work that I was involved with in Ft. Wayne. Robert and the entire staff were excellent. I was treated quite nicely. They are new owners to this Motel so they are gradually making some changes. If you do have a problem with whatever it may be they will take care of it.

I was at the lodge for over a month 1/2 for personal reasons. The staff there was all great. Very helpful, and polite. One of the managers Robert was so so great and awesome!!!!! Always went above and beyond. Always made us guests feel sooòooo welcome. The other staff also make you feel very welcome! This place you will always have great privacy!

We stayed here in June of 2022. Loved it . Pool awesome. Kid friendly. Came back April 2023 the staff..they are great shout out to Anthony and Michelle. No offense to any of the staff for not mentioning you . It's only because we did not meet personally I am sure. 😉 The Roberts

Arrived to check in, the front desk attendant was very polite. I got my key card and went I my room as I was extremely tired from being up for over 24 hours. I got into the room to find it had not been cleaned, other than they removed the bedding. I go down stairs and discuss this with them, the nice lady. Immediately moved me to the next room over.. this one was worse. There was still trash in the bins, blood on the mattress protector and pillows, no towels, all around just gross. At this point I wasn’t comfortable staying there. The nice lady completely understood and canceled my reservation, though there was no manager on duty so I couldn’t get a refund. Hopefully I can because this was unacceptable to allow to happen.

RUN!!! as fast as you can! Last year in August me and my sister and my son stayed at this place.. We had gone through 3 or 4 different rooms one in which my sister went to pull the blanket back to sleep and something flew out of it and when she looked on the floor to find it it was a needle then another room was propped open by the lock and it was dark, we refused to even step foot in there. The front desk lady was understanding and sort of helpful with finding a better room. She told me to just take photos and send it to Wyndham later. I sent an email and photos attached of the blood, white stuff on chair and needle and for all our troubles and all of the craziness we were offered points for are stay! A flipping needle! The audacity this company has! I did message them back asking if that was all for the inconvenience and i never got a response. This place is a law suit waiting to happen. Shut this place down
