I've reviewed them before and after more visits to the No Frill Grill, I like it even more. At 60 years old, I'm trying to eat a more heart healthy diet. I ordered the garlic parmesan Tilapia with vegetables and - I'm not kidding - this might have been the best piece of fish I've ever had. Yes, the vegetables were cooking just right and tasted great, but that Tilapia was sublime. I dream about it at night. I may go back there today. See you there!

Been coming here on and off for the past 9 years. Sadly I stick to what I know. The Blackened crawfish poboy, with a side of sweet potato fries. For me you can't go wrong! As for the crowd today on a Monday. It's easy going while Monday Night Football is on. Ultimately, it's an easy going spot, good people, and my server Whitney was absolutely awesome!

I was starving and on my way to Dallas from Fort Worth, saw this place on the exit sign and decided to give it a try. It's a sports bar and they have more TVs than you could imagine lol. All of the servers I've seen were extremely courteous and polite, and they'll also spark up good conversations! The food is just unimaginably cheap (not in a bad way though) with most plates (besides two) that are 10$ and under! The food came out really fast, and when I started digging in I was amazed at how good the food was for the price! They have specials throughout the week too, I went on a Tuesday and they had beer specials. All in all this place absolutely deserved 5 stars and I'm going back in the future 😁

First time getting food from No Frills. I got a to go order with the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and their spicy pinto beans. I tried the spicy beans after reading a few of the reviews. The beans did not have the spicy taste I was anticipating and for my taste needed a bit more seasoning, but was ok. And the same for the chicken fried steak, I would have preferred a bit more season in the batter, however my steak was hot and fresh and the gravy helped on the season loss. My pick up for my order was easy with great sevice. She shared my order would be up in a moment and it was packed with care. The mashed potatoes were good.

Been going there for 15 years, they used to have good food at great prices with good service. Now it takes 30 minutes to get a beer, they doubled price of food while decreasing quality and quantity. I can no longer recommend it

Horrible horrible horrible. If you hate any type of seasoning or flavor, love waiting an hour for drinks, 1 hour 30 minutes for food, this is the place for you. How do you mess up a bacon cheese burger? Tasted like cardboard, literally no flavor. Mac n cheese was boxed Kraft mac n cheese, served in prison trays. Nothing here was worth it. They don't even have a drink menu on the restaurant side. There is much better food out there for much less price.

First stop here in nearly 2 years and they have not lost their touch. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Came in on a weeknight around a 6pm and the place was surprisingly busy! Plenty of seating tho and the space was clean and well maintained. The barman (I didn’t catch his name) was friendly, welcoming, and super quick with service. Ordered the Texas Sized Club and an ice cold Coors Light. Beer was ice cold, properly poured, and tasty. Meal was lit. Tater tots were hot and freshly fried. Bread was freshly toasted and the veggie toppings were fresh. At some sports bars, veggies for burger and sandwich toppings are an afterthought and not fresh. Not here. Heaps of TVs and they have every sports package imaginable so they have out of market games which is awesome. I will 100% be coming back very soon.

Excellent service, solid drinks, good prices and EXCELLENT food. Full bar, kitchen full menu until 11pm then late night menu (mostly fried) till 1am. AMI jukebox, clean restrooms, slots, golden tee and SO MANY TV'S. Definitely a good place for sports.

This is a good local neighborhood sports pub with a separate dining area. So you can choose to be on the bar side or the dining room which is nice if you want to go with your family. The TVs are plentiful and at every booth so you can watch what you want or play trivia. Note that there is a charge to watch football during the NFL season. The food is decent and the wings are actually pretty good size. Prices are about average. The service is as well. First visit we had pretty good service while the second time not so much. We'll keep coming back since really there aren't a whole lot of options for sit down restaurants in this area.

First time here, and last time unfortunately. I ordered a catfish poboy sandwich. She ordered a turkey melt. We each got a side and I chose fries, and she got Chips. The fries I asked to be well done came back soggy as ever. Her chips were fine. My catfish was way undercooked in my opinion because the fish was so slimy. Her sandwich was good she said. We also ordered corn nuggets, and that's all I ate. They were ok.

Should have known by the name. But it was close to the theater. The nachos had taco meat and was soooo salty. They charged extra for each thing..tomatoes extra..sour cream extra...lettuce extra.. 75 cents for each item. Ordered Philly cheese steak and it was ok. Had chicken fried steak and it was very over cooked...almost burnt. First and last time visiting this restaurant. I didn't FEEL welcomed at all.

It's a sports bar with decent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Service is always friendly! They have much more than typical bar food - some of our go-tos are tilapia, blackened shrimp, Philly cheese steak, grilled chicken spinach salad, and any of the melt sandwiches. Decent craft beer selection at some of the lowest prices I've seen.

The service was amazing today and the food was incredible, compliments to the chef for such great food. Our servers name was Taco and he had great customer service and was consistently checking up on us despite being busy. I highly recommend this place for anyone trying to get a delicious bite for a great cost and service.

This is a great place to eat!! Hubby and I go when we get a chance!! The atmosphere is great and the waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food is great quality! I had the steak finger dinner with steamed veggies and a side of enchilada soup. Hubby had quesidilla dinner with beans rice and he grabbed a shrimp poboy to try. Both dishes were great and the poboy was delish as well. We shared chips and queso(which was very good). We also had drinks with our food, I had a margarita(yum) and hubby had a brown sprite which he praised alot!! Which means it had to be good lol we want to go back again trying new things everytime. It's a great place for a laid back date night..!!

This is always a great spot for wings, especially if you like lemon pepper, but I was hungry and had the chicken fried steak for $8.98 . Two sides toast--it was really good with good gravy!! Loved it

Or cute waitress, dark hair, skirt, thigh high socks. The rest were bland. She made the place. Only reason I'll go back. Food was typical No Frills good.

Great food but my server didn't give my straw after 3 times of asking... The cups looked like they had been chewed on the rim of them. Arlington location is better

Taco is one of the best servers you have. We were there Saturday night. He's always attentive with all his customers no matter how busy he is. Keep him around. Everything on the menu is great. Love this place.

Sat down at table & after 10 minutes, server still had not come by to take drink order(80% of tables were empty). Walked over to the bar side & attempted to order 2 drinks (a cocktail and a beer) so my wife and I could enjoy an adult beverage while waiting for the server to come take our food order. Bartender told me he needs to see the 2nd person before he could serve drinks. Asked him "so you want me to walk back over there, tell my wife to walk over here with me so you can see her to serve our drinks and then we walk back to the table?". . . "Again" (Forest Gump voice ). Went 1/4 Karen mode & said fine, send our server to the table so we can order some drinks. Not to be an @$$hole I begrudgingly tipped the server since most restaurants make servers share a portion of tips with the bartenders & the only tip I wanted the bartender to receive was "don't pet rabid raccoons". The server did a great job after they were summoned & deserved a tip for their portion of the experience. Even at "bar food" standards; the food was nothing I would text home about.

They have a few other locations ,I recommend visiting any of them except this one. Sat down. Was looked at by the bartender and that was the most interaction I got. Not a hello, not a I'll be right with you. Just a glance . Walked out after 10 min of sitting with no help. There were about 6 people there,so not busy at all.

We come here 1-2 times a week. It's usually pretty good, occasionally service starts off slow or there's a lot of dirty tables because they're short staffed. Food is pretty good for the price (nachos are a standout) and craft beers are inexpensive. Lots of TV's, trivia, etc.

I sat here for over an hour and a half after ordering for them to come at the last minute and tell me they have no gravy for the chicken fried steak. Exactly how long did it take them to realize that while I sat here waiting?? When there is an inconvenience on behalf of the establishment some type of accommodation should be a given! I should have gone to the Arlington location for a better experience all together. It already smelled terrible when we walked in so we went to the second side of the building. Our waiter is obviously overworked because everything he does is done so nervously and rushed. I’m so annoyed I had to write this review. I don’t even wanna finish my drink. Then I just was told that the cooks were shutting the kitchen down 2 hours before they were supposed to. This is RIDICULOUS

Stopped in for a burger and beer on a Saturday night. Service on the dining side was decent, then we went over to the bar side for drinks. It took about 10-15 minutes to get service and the waitress was clearly less than thrilled to be working. Another group that had come in at the same time left and they weren't happy. I hadn't been to this location in ten or more years. I would've recommended this No Frills then, but now I'd say spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Last time I was there I had bad service and that usually keeps me from going back but my helper had never been and he wanted to try it out. I was hesitant but this time I had a pleasant experience. The burgers were phenomenal. The service was great this time so I bumped it up a star. Definitely be back. Update. Never coming back. Took 20+ minutes to get my burger, mushroom Swiss. Well you would think that taking that long to make it that it would be perfect. They forgot the mushrooms. Although the wait staff and the manager did a phenomenal job.

Food is awful, the waiters in the dining area hardly ever come to check on you to see if you need anything. I don't recommend this place at all.

The food is not good. Cold and no flavor. We ordered wings fries nachos and some other appetizers. Too bad because I wanted to like this place so I’d have somewhere new to go.

A lot of old townies/mature crowd. Not really a place you keep coming back to unless you're the said demographic. Megan doesn't clean the counter tops, she just kept putting my drink & receipts on what looked like a previous spilled drink that was there prior to arriving. I pointed it out; she apparently couldn't hear me as she placed my receipt next to the spill. I dont tip lazy people. I left after one drink with no intent to return. Bad service starts with management and trickles down to the register.

Waited on the patio for 30 minutes playing Buzztime trivia. Never saw a server, so my husband went to the bar to order drinks. He wasn't upset, we just figured we needed to get our own drinks at the bar. Bartender, who was not busy (it was a Monday), told my husband that since they had a server working the patio, she would not serve him. We left and will not be back.
