Watch
out
for
the
bait
and
switch
and
be
prepared
to
be
treated
terribly.
I
was
hosting
three
clients
to
dinner
and
I
decided
to
order
a
bottle
of
Austin
Hope
Cabernet
that
was
printed
on
the
first
page
of
the
wine
list
where
wines
by
the
glass
were
shown,
as
well
as
the
bottle
price.
The
Austin
Hope
Cabernet
was
$62
and
this
was
the
bottle
I
chose.
As
I
ordered
it,
I
pointed
to
it
and
stated
that
I
would
like
the
Austin
Hope
Cabernet.
The
server
brought
the
wine,
presented
it
as
Austin
Hope,
and
proceeded
to
open
it.
Throughout
the
evening,
we
ordered
another
bottle
of
the
same
wine.
Again,
the
server
presented
it
as
Austin
Hope,
which
is
again
what
I
ordered.
When
the
bill
arrived,
it
was
$200
more
than
it
should
have
been
and
so
in
looking
at
the
charges,
I
saw
that
I
was
charged
$165,
per
bottle,
of
Austin
Hope
cabernet
as
opposed
to
$62
per
bottle.
I
questioned
it
and
the
server
said
she
would
get
her
manager.
I
proceeded
to
tell
the
manager
what
I
had
ordered,
and
what
I
was
charged,
and
he
said
that
there
was
another
bottle
of
Austin
Hope
Cabernet
on
the
wine
list
that
was
$165,
and
that
is
what
I
was
being
charged
for.
I
told
him
I
did
not
order
that
other
bottle,
but
I
had
ordered
the
bottle
that
I
pointed
out
on
the
first
page
of
the
wine
menu.
He
started
to
argued
with
me,
and
said
his
hands
were
tied,
there
was
nothing
he
could
do
because
we
drank
the
wine.
He
then
pointed
to
the
menu
and
said
that
I
had
ordered
it
off
of
the
wines
by
the
glass
page.
I
continued
to
tell
him
that
yes,
that
is
correct,
because
the
bottle
price
was
also
printed
on
the
same
page.
And
that
is
the
bottle
that
I
chose.
When
I
asked
for
his
name,
he
said
it
was
Jeff,
when
I
asked
for
his
last
name,
he
refused
to
give
it
to
me.
It
was
not
until
I
started
to
write
down
information
that
he
blurted
out
his
last
name,
which
was
Gregory.
During
this
entire
exchange,
while
I
was
disputing
the
charges,
the
server
took
my
card
and
charged
my
corporate
American
Express
the
INCORRECT
full
amount.
I
was
in
shock.
I
made
it
very
clear
to
him
that
I
am
not
a
wine
sommelier,
and
how
would
I
know
that
they
had
a
different
bottle
that
was
presented
to
me
with
the
same
label?
and
consumed
at
the
table
with
the
same
label
of
the
bottle
that
I
chose.
How
in
the
world
would
I
know
such
a
thing.
I'm
no
sommelier,
so
when
this
bottle
was
presented,
I
had
no
idea
that
there
was
another
bottle,
with
the
same
label
but
a
different
year.
After
all,
the
bottle
that
I
chose,
didn’t
even
show
a
year
on
the
wine
list
page
where
I
chose
the
wine!!
This
is
FRAUD.
The
manager,
Jeff
Gregory,
copped
a
lot
of
attitude
and
was
absolutely
the
rudest
person
I
have
ever
met.
I
have
never
been
treated
so
horribly
in
an
establishment.
I
am
actually
in
so
much
shock
about
what
happened.
With
this
caliber
of
a
brand,
I
would
NEVER
expect
this
behavior
or
treatment.
Make
sure
you
double
check
your
bill.
Or
better
yet,
go
to
Whataburger!🤭
I
spoke
with
another
manager
the
following
day,
who
gave
me
his
direct
supervisor’s
name
at
Landry’s.
Let’s
see
if
they
do
anything
about
this.
