Alcohol aplenty! Came here 3 times on my visit to Fort Worth Stockyards and had a different experience each time. Different bartenders have different levels of customer service. If you find yourself needing service as some other reviews here have suggested don’t be shy to call them on over or just lift your finger up until they make eye contact with you, they’ll usually nod their head at you to acknowledge they saw you. It can get busy and it’s a long bar counter with usually just two bartenders. Be patient and don’t give a bad rating. Drinks were good and strong. I got to witness a band play live in the evening and they were excellent. Really fun crowd at night, not as many people during the days when I went. Overall, this hits the check box for a good ole classic saloon.

Do not come to this bar. I came here Saturday and had 2 beers and left a 2$ tip and the bartenders committed fraud on my receipt and added a bigger tip to it. I then saw a 25$ charge on my card. The bartenders here will fraudulently put larger tips on your receipt. I even tried calling and no one ever picks up. Clearly they must be hiding. I already filed a police report on the bartenders.

If I could give this place zero stars, then I would. I’m blind and have a seeing eye dog. I was with family and we just wanted a beer. We thought the name was cheeky so we wanted to check it out. We got halfway inside and mind you it was VERY empty. The very nasty person behind the bar told us, no dogs. We kindly informed him that my dog was a service dog and what the law dictates for access. Verbatim he stated “I don’t care and we got no room.” I’m blind, not deaf or stupid. I KNEW the place was empty. We told him to have a nice night despite his rudeness. I could have made a big scene about this and had the authorities come but this place isn’t worth wasting your time or money on. This was my first time in Texas and although this situation didn’t ruin the whole trip, it still grinds my gears. If you are open to the public then service dogs ARE allowed in. Perhaps this so called business needs to educate itself on state and federal laws. This place does live up to its name being filthy and nasty.

This place actually denied entry of my long time retired navy friend because he had a SERVICE DOG with papers and harness. Complained to the manager and he said there is a no pet policy and refused to let him in. It is against federal law to deny access to someone with a trained service animal. Thankfully we found a much nicer watering hole in the area. I will never set foot in this place and you shouldn't either!

Absolutely terrible service. I'm starting to think that the other reviews are fake?! We came in when it was pretty dead and we didn't even get acknowledged. It took about 5 minutes for the bartender to even come up to us. Again, the place was dead. I asked how much for a shot and he said, "are you here to drink or not?" Terrible. We left without buying anything. Don't give these people your money.

I came in to have a drink because the name made me laugh. It has a “country” dive bar vibe. The drinks are fairly priced. The band that played was very cool and fun.

Awesome live music with no cover charge! The musicians are amazing, though! Make sure to tip them well. I saw some bad reviews about the bartenders having an attitude, but my experience was fine. This was on a Tuesday and also my last night in Texas, otherwise I’d come back to this place often.

This bar is a must see while visiting the Stockyards! The bar is so cool and unique inside. The bartender was so friendly and attentive. There was also a good band playing.

The bartenders are awesome ! James and Zane are the best by far ! This bar was absolute fun and wow we had so much fun !!

I don't remember much from the night I came but I do know I had a great time. Came to see Brandon Bethel and his band play. They were excellent as were the many, many beers I drank.

Barman didn't sell me a beer, because my driver license is not enough for him and he need my passport. Besides I'm 35 and I looks like 35. What is his problem?

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star. What a disappointment. We walked in to get a few beers and a couple of shots. After getting 2 beers and 2 shots we were charged 36.00. When asked why it was so much he said the shots are 12.50 EACH! Never again. When we went to another bar in the same area we were told a shot is usually between 7 to 9.00 each. That is a little more reasonable but not 12.50. Taking advantage of tourist should be illegal. Lesson learned next time we visit the area we will definitely ask before we are served.

Literally the best bartenders, I had so much fun here and definitely a story for life.

My wife and daughter and I went there on a Monday.. No barstools to sit so we sat where there were stools 10ft away.. They would not serve us where we sat.. We left dissapointed. Basement Bar is where it was welcoming!!

Zane and James are awesome, made us feel so welcome. First time at Filthy’s and in Fort Worth, hands down the best bar I’ve been to at the Stockyards! Highly recommend.

Music is always awesome! Bartenders are ALWAYS friendly and fun! And damn it, it's just a fun place! Definitely an iconic part of the bar scene in the Stockyards!

After being hot and sweaty, from dancing at another bar. It was nice to be able to come in, sit down, relax and have the ac blasting. The band was awesome, and I only got a water, but the bartenders were incredibly nice, too. I’d definitely come back here.

What a disappointing experience in such a welcoming area. The MALE bartender is a. “Richard” guess he doesn’t care about tips his customer service had the personality of.a Rattlesnake. Hey “Parsons” .quit before you get the place closed down with your incompetence. This bar should be standing alone in a dark alley!

Fat male bartender was extremely rude. Rolled his eyes when I ordered a drink. Like do you not want a tip??
