My roommate David and I came here on a Thursday night and the place was packed. But I love the atmosphere and the staff was great 👌👍😁 our food was done in no time. We don't drink and they provided delicious non alcoholic drinks for us. The staff went out of their way to make our experience phenomenal. The food was delicious and hot. Love the Daisy sour cream we had with the meals. The seating was great. Self seating. Overall it was great can't wait to go back again ☺️

Really good margs, cool atmosphere, fun times. Really friendly staff too! Can get super busy so better to get there early and stay late. It's definitely the place to be any day of the week!

This was my first time . Its a small restaurant. But it does have outdoor seating . I love any patio!! We went for TacoTuesday. The crispy tacos are 1.50 (Reg. 1.99) Good price! But I didnt like them. The shell was nice and crispy, and you can add as much lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, onions and salsa. that you want from their fresh self serve salsa bar!!! But the meat ruined it all for me. Had a weird flavor. Not Tex Mex flavor. So disappointing. The place was very loud. They had 3 or 4 big TVs to watch the game. And they were very loud. We also had chips and queso. The chips are thick and crisp! The queso was too thick and too salty. The staff was great! Very friendly amd helpful. I wont be going back. There are other TexMex places I like better.

there's bar food then there's surprisingly good bar food and Chimy's is the later. went on a Monday with no crowd whatsoever, it was an enjoyable atmosphere with people watching included. Friendly staff, good food and margaritas.

Tons of fun. Expect a wait even at non peak times. Price of food and Margaritas is great! We ordered nachos and a chimichanga with Margaritas on the rocks. The food is really good. It lives up to the reviews. Try to get someone to go early and grab a table. We were there for 2 hours and were standing outside the entire time. There is a bar at the front and one at the back. It’s dog friendly too.

Definitely a late night drunk hangout. The frozen margarita was good. The red salsa had a good taste but no heat. I expect better Mexican food in Texas ...even this far north. There was nothing about the food that would make me want to come back.

The drinks here were really good. I had a Bloody Mary and my boyfriend had a jalapeño margarita. We came here on a Saturday during a Texas Tech basket ball game. It was EXTREMELY loud but the energy was great. There were not any seats for us to seat at, because it PACKED, but the food definitely made up for it. I had the taco salad with the fajita steak and the meat portions were generous. The tortilla shell was soft and fluffy, and there was just the right amount of cheese on my taco salad. My boyfriend had a Chimy’s burger with pepper jack on a delicious jalapeño bun. He had his medium rare and they it was delicious especially dipped in ranch dressing and red salsa. The best part is that everything is cooked and made fresh in-house. We will definitely be coming back. We hope there will be chairs and a table for us the next time we come.

Chimy's in Fort Worth is not just a Tex-Mex destination; it's an experience filled with vibrant flavors and lively vibes. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a fun and energetic atmosphere that sets the stage for a fantastic time. The menu at Chimy's is a Tex-Mex lover's dream come true. From mouthwatering tacos to cheesy nachos and flavorful burritos, there's something for everyone. The portions are generous, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. But what sets Chimy's apart is its commitment to responsible alcohol service. After 5 pm on weekends, be prepared to show your ID as they uphold strict age verification policies. This not only ensures a safe environment but also adds to the restaurant's credibility as a responsible establishment. The bar at Chimy's deserves a special mention. They offer an array of margaritas and cocktails that are expertly crafted and a perfect complement to your meal. Whether you prefer something classic or adventurous, their drink menu has you covered. The staff here is friendly and attentive, making sure you have a memorable dining experience. The lively music and colorful decor create a vibrant ambiance that's perfect for socializing with friends or family. In conclusion, Chimy's in Fort Worth is a Tex-Mex hotspot with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and an emphasis on responsible service. Just remember to have your ID ready after 5 pm on weekends, and you're in for a fantastic time filled with flavors and fun.

It's a great little spot to get good food and drink. Nothing special about it, but I have never had one thing to complain about. Parking outside can be tight when the area is crowded. But it's worth the visit. Nachos are more than one person can possibly eat. They're supper good. Bean and cheese or fajita Nachos. Burgers looked really good.

I wanted Tacos for lunch since today was Tuesday. I saw the reviews and said yep. I got confused with directions and called the restaurant. Courtney answered and stayed on the phone until I arrived. Service like this is better than Chick-fil-A and twice on Sunday. The food was Ah-mazing. I mean goodt‼️ I will be back to dine in of course and partake in the Happy Hour; which is all day on Monday and Tuesday. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

First off. The food here was great. My wife and I both ordered a chimichanga. I ordered a chicken chimichanga with beans and my wife ordered a green chili chicken chimichanga. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. Luckily, we ordered a Mexican Mule and a margarita while we waited. Both were tasty concoctions. The atmosphere was SUPER loud. We could barely have a conversation without yelling. This location seems like it caters to the college crowd or younger crowd. Also, there was some random drunk dude checking ID's as we walked in (he was surfing his words and was drinking a beer). I would eat here again. I would just come earlier in the day when it wasn't so loud.

Great place to watch Texas Tech football and enjoy delicious tacos. Broad menu and full bar for those that drink. Get there early on game day to get a table.

Who in the world is giving this anything more than 1 star? Absolutely awful. I feel like I am eating “Tex-mex” in the mid-west. How do you do Tex mex this bad in Texas? If you are a tourist, RUN! This is not Tex mex. You’ve been warned. Tastes worst than it looks. Barf.

This has always been a favorite place to grab a great margarita and some fish tacos. Today not so great service. Our order came out wrong and nobody really had a solution except to reorder. The general Manger came over to the table and asked what was going on. We explained and he did nothing to fix the problem. Upon leaving the restaurant he followed us out the door yelling at us. It was the most unprofessional experience we have ever encountered anywhere!

What a great find for happy hour. Those tacos were excellent as were the Margaritas and you can’t beat the prices. Fun atmosphere, fun bartenders and I would definitely recommend this place!

Food is amazing and customer service is top notch!! Everyone should come here!! Oh and the margaritas are excellent!!

I love Chimy’s. The margaritas are bomb, the food is an acceptable level of greasy..what else could you possibly ask for? Easily me and my besties fave place to get drinks and rant about our lives!

We literally left most things uneaten. The house marg tastes like a $3 marg overloaded with margarita mix. The "homemade" chips had us begging for tostidos. The salsa was a half step above pace picante sauce. The queso wasn't terrible, but nothing to write home about. The pork was gross. Even green chilis couldn't save it. Steak fajita taco had zero seasoning and tasted like the lowest meat quality you could buy. My husband almost spit out the fried fish taco. The atmosphere is really cool, but this is Texas, and with the plethora of TexMex, there's no reason to ever come here. We wish we had tried la Familia literally in the same parking lot, but we were hoodwinked by the cute sign here. Don't be like us.

My sister needed a prickly pear margarita and a quick Google search turned up this super fun and pet friendly place. The margaritas were delicious. We also had Chips and Mud (queso with meat and guacamole), regular queso, and a beef chimichanga. Everything was generously sized and very good. We'll be back soon. The menu is quite extensive and features much more than "bar food".

Great food! Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor area and dog friendly.

Rather expensive for the drink size. The drinks are great and are made on the spot so there is no waiting for that. They play music constantly and when your food is ready they'll call it out across the pa system - the music won't stop. There isn't too much seating inside or outside so you have to check the different areas or be prepared to stand

During these crazy times we are living Jason (the manager) was the only person who responded out of the 10 restaurants I reached out to in Fort Worth when looking for a party location for my parents birthday! We rented the marfa room, despite the fact that we booked right in the middle of college football weekend the service that was provided was nothing short of exceptional. Jason’s staff took care of every detail from start to finish. The planning process was effortless and the communication was top notch! I will recommend chimys for their great food, top notch service and the best atmosphere for celebrating an occasion!

Second time coming here for our ladies happy hour. We love the atmosphere and enjoy the drinks. We usually get chips and salsa but I got a burger and it was pretty good. I wish they had a bit more room in the patio but nice place to have a drink with friends.

Kinda hidden. I had never been here before. Found it by accident looking for a turn around on Foch St.. Very old school hangout. Walk up and order and wait for your comida. The day I was here there were a variety of patrons.. Spring break crowd sitting at the patio downing their cool "refreshments".. Couple with their kids. Interview taking place at one table. Construction workers from area enjoying their lunch.. A cornucopia of a crowd.. Very relaxed establishment and speedy preparation of food.. Definitely recommend the Steak Fajita Quesadillas..
