The hotel has almost 50 years old and the facilities are quite well maintained, although the old fashioned style. The breakfast and dinner are of good quality, delicious and varied. The staff is friendly and attentive. The Premier room has a comfortable beds, good view of the swimming pool, but the bathroom is quite old. There are native jungle and a mini zoo to enjoy the nature. The place is also good for kids with water park, recreation staff and amusement park. I advice you to keep your distance from the guys in the lobby trying to convince you to attend a speech.

It's a low-level 5 star hotel with good lobby but room s are not good, dirty and full of ants! Breakfast was simple with low options for the 5 star hotel! We did not have a pleasant stay. I don't recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel for families. Lots of facilities for children. Great choice of places to eat. Beautiful gardens with 'zoo' and lush plants well labelled. Excellent choice at breakfast Rooms very comfortable and big.

I stayed at the Bourbon about 15 years ago and it seemed very luxurious. I stayed there again two weeks ago and it feels like the same hotel, and I don’t mean that in a good way. 😬 Very dated, parts of it seem very run down and in need of renovation. The room was clean but felt very damp, no ventilation. Shower and bathroom fixtures were very old. Kids pool smelled bad and the tables/chairs around it were dirty. The breakfast buffet area felt very cramped; many guests were unable to find a place to sit. Don't understand why such a large hotel has such a small breakfast area. If you're hoping for a quiet getaway, the Bourbon is not the place to go. Lots of kids (it's very kid-friendly) so can be quite noisy. On a positive note, food and cocktails were very good; I especially liked the Italian restaurant and I highly recommend the caipirinha! Staff were very good and friendly. That's why I am giving it 3 stars.

A lovely hotel that is poorly organised and managed, they even lost my luggage. ☹️

The service at the restaurant was totally inappropriate and unacceptable. We were served with a two hours delay, the orders were misplaced and undercooked and the behaviour of the personnel was not properly monitored by the manager.

The variety of breakfast was not great, but the rooms were clean and the view in front of the hotel was beautiful

Got food poisoning at the dinner buffet (that's my own fault for eating at the salad bar). Otherwise, good location to Iguazu Falls and there are a decent amount of things to do on the property. Know it is more of a "family" hotel, with lots of kids running around.

Nice accommodations all around. Well supplied and functioning rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Great pool and tons of activities for adults and kids. With all the energy sometimes a bit noisy but if that is a concern get a room further from the lobby/lounge/pool. Lots of things to do very close by.

Great resort in Foz do Iguacu. It seems to be the best option for adults - for those without kids, it has a good vibe - for those with kids, some good options with a separate pool, for example. Ask for a room in the new building renovated with wood floors. They still have some old, not renovated rooms that are bad.

The resort is not centrally located....meaning not much around to walk to.

If you want to enjoy being a guest at a resort, Bourbon is a great option. It has plenty of activities for kids, a great location at Avenida das Cataratas, a large mall nearby and it is actually not far from all sightseeing: the Brazilian side of the waterfalls, the Argentinean border and the Paraguayan one. If you want to take advantage of everything you better have a car but hotel support is very helpful get things done. Food is also very good. My only complain is that all three restaurants have the same menu over the weekend. My 7-year old loved the kids' support staff and their energy through the day.

A great hotel for families. so many things for the children to do and safe and exciting play areas for them to play in. great pool areas too. easy access to the falls. the staff are very nice and helpful. we ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was very nice (buffet) lots to choose from. would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends 😊

Great resort. Also-we left documents and lots of cash in the room safe, didn’t notice until following day. We got everything back from them. So, not only a great family friendly resort, but honest housekeeping too!

It’s a very good hotel, structure is incredible, rooms are good, very spacey, all really good. Staff is amazing. For those with children, don’t reckon twice, just go. One thing to pay attention: they have a team to sell vacation club. All the sane with the places which have it: nice people approach you, offer you some “go for free”, some courtesy, a free dinner and then it starts, an attempt to sell you these almost-never-worth-it vacation club. This can destroy a part of your stay, as teams really need to sell it and will make their best in the don’t think just buy strategy. It’s a pity Bourbon has gone into that, but they’re, check at Google what a vacation club is and wait, because they’ll approach you at Bourbon Cataratas.

A lovely place. Need some rest? You're going to have a great time enjoying an amazing pool and a good gastronomy inside the hotel for those who don't wanna go outside. Foz do iguaçu city is an interesting place for all tourists (single, married, kids), God has blessed the city and nature is everywhere.
