Incredible location/property! It was a magical stay from start to finish. Their food is excellent, make dinner reservations in advance at Itaipu (their restaurant). The app as super helpful for ordering room service and requesting late check out. I loved my river stone massage at the spa. The laundry service was great also. You can organize all your activities through the concierge, highly recommend the boat tour and helicopter ride. The shuttle is very punctual every 20 minutes to get in and out of the park. You have a perfect sunset view out the front door but keep in mind you need to reserve the tower in advance.

For me this was a once in a lifetime stay. The only hotel inside enormous Iguazu Falls National park. It has civilized class from years gone by, outstanding staff always ready to go the extra mile, some simple artwork, nice robes, linens and towels. An excellent breakfast, piano bar, snooker table and lounges. In short, it's a place to relax in style. And then visit the park at any time of day or night. That's right at 10 pm with a full moon you get a rainbow which can be captured on some cameras or smartphones. In the morning at sunrise another beautiful view. Buses take you to the park entrance, and you can return free of charge because you are a guest at this fine hotel.

This unique experience can not be beat. Book it just do it you will not regret it. Honestly when I was looking at this hotel on booking I was really not wanting to pay the price tag. The pictures of the rooms and hotels didn't seem like anything special and even outdated. Oh boy was my initial reaction wrong. The service is impeccable. Everything check in, check out, anything you need you got it. The food is divine. And the wildlife after the tourists leave is incomparable. We saw families of monkeys, many tucans and just unbeatable sunsets. Thanks for a lifetime memory.

Sensational. Outstanding. Pure excellence. There are not enough adjectives to describe this place. We read the reviews that said it was the best hotel in the world and they are 100% correct. It is heaven on earth and absolutely faultless. If you’re coming to the falls, it’s a must to stay here, even for just one night. Exclusive access to the falls in the early morning and early evening, the tour guides are exceptional (Ask for Carlos - legend!) and you are treated as if you’re the only guest. We stayed two nights and wish we could stay forever!

The service here is outstanding! I never met such friendly staff. So eager to help. One of the best aspects is the proximity to the falls and the near private access outside of the opening hours of the park. Well worth the price. Great food.

What a great experience!!! No wonder it was rated from Forbes as one of the finest hotels in 2022. Really a very beautiful and special place. The location is wonderful, close to the falls with spectacular sunsets. You have the possibility to walk the trails prior or after the opening times of the national park. The hotel experience is wonderful. Our junior suite was huge, the room service very good. Breakfast and dinner great. Really nothing to complain. Complimentary drinking water at the pool! Lovely bar. The variety of different chacaca is awesome. You need to try! Thanks again for that great stay!

What a beautiful elegant hotel. It has the feel of a personal sanctuary. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The walk to the Falls is just steps away. Access to the Falls is private for hotel guests early In the morning and in the evening. The food was also very good. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The mains reason we booked this hotel was due to its location in the park and it really is worth it, the early and late access when busy are a massive perk. It isn’t our usual taste due to the more classical decor but it was beautiful - the decor was in keeping with the hotel building and felt very elegant. We ate all our meals at the hotel and they were all superb - special mention for the breakfast and evening buffets, the evening buffet was fresh and high quality. We visited the spa whilst staying at the hotel and both had massage treatments which were great, I would highly recommend. The hotel sorted all our trips and transfers which all worked perfectly. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Iguazú.

It has to be one of the best hotels in the world. The exclusive access to top views of Iguazu falls outside of tourist hours is the best advantage. The hotel has elegance, comfort and immersive beauty within the national park. The food is great, especially the fine dining option and buffet dinner with delectable grilled meats. Special thank you to Leonardo who went above and beyond for a time sensitive request of ours!

The best hotel to stay when visiting the Falls. Fantastic stuff, very attentive! Really good food and service. Wonderful atmosphere and just a few meters from the falls view. We loved collecting the wooden bird figures served with the drinks.

This hotel offers a delightful retreat amidst natural beauty. Walking to falls at first light without the usual crowds was simply magical. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the bathrooms featured lovely azulejos and marble basins. The meticulously maintained grounds added to the overall charm. The hotel staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the limited soundproofing in the rooms, and I had some very noisy neighbors. Nevertheless, considering the exceptional experience, it was a small inconvenience. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here.

I stayed with my husband and children aged 7 and 10 for 2 nights and 3 days. It was comfortable and enjoyable. There was a brief problem with the room (but it was an important one), but the manager solved the problem quickly and accurately. He also showed the sincerity as a sign of apology. I am satisfied with the atmosphere of the traditional room and the clean facilities. It was amazing that there was a free program to take care of children and play with them, and I was grateful to Luna for allowing them to have a fun experience. For my family, who pursues a low-salt diet as a healthy diet, it was regrettable that the dinner buffet at the hotel was somewhat salty and sweet.

Best hotel that we stayed at during our Brazil trip. All the staff was incredibly nice, attentive and helpful. Granted it's more expensive that other hotels in the city, but it's worth staying for at least one night to get to see sunrise or sunset at the falls and experience the food and service here.

Just fantastic. Stumbled across this Hotel as part of a deal with British Airways. Everything about the hotel is spectacular from the surroundings to the staff. Particularly grateful to Sarah who ran the restaurant. She made my 82 year old mothers holiday with her care and attention to her gluten free needs!

This may just be the best hotel in the world - seriously. The "pink palace" is beautiful inside and out, rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the location is spectacular. We were able to walk out to the Falls in the morning to see the sunrise and were the only ones there! The pool, spa, restaurants, and bars are all five-star, as expected. But what sets this hotel apart (besides the incredible proximity to the Falls) is the service. Everyone was so attentive and thoughtful. Our stay here was truly seamless - my only regret is not booking a longer stay!

Not just a 5 star hotel, but the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The location, service and attention to detail to meet customer needs was incredible. The hotel were also able to meet our needs for PCT tests by bringing someone to the hotel to complete.

Hard to find fault with this hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are ON POINT!! We did the early morning tour of the falls before the park opened, which was perfect for avoiding the crowds later in the day. Also can highly recommend the cachaça tasting experience, which gave us a delightful introduction to this national treasure. We travel a lot and would definitely put this on out top hotels list. Worth the splurge for sure!

One of the best hotels ever stayed. It is located inside the Iguazu National Park of Brazil, just across the road from the viewing point of the falls. One advantage of staying in this hotel is that the park entrance fee is included, guests can tour the falls from Brazilian side before the park opens and after the park closes to the public. That is the perfect opportunity to walk the falls without the crowds and the heat.

A truly amazing hotel in an amazing location. The service was impeccable, a special call out to Thayane who was fabulous in the main bar. To be able to walk through the park and see the falls without the other tourists was fantastic and the Full (Super) Moon walk was the highlight of my whole trip. The rooms in the hotel are beautifully appointed and Anthony as the manager was great. Could things be improved? Of course, but the only area that was glaring was the hotel staff's reluctance to deal with other guests who were obviously rich Brazilians their rude behaviour impacted on the enjoyment of the other guests around the pool and in the restaurant and the hotel staff would not deal with this. A small point but one that should be noted.

Magical! Fantastic! 1 day was not enough. The staff, facilities and food was world class. Plan to ride the boat under the falls and then walk the short trail to the Devil's Throat in the evening to watch the sunset. End the evening with dinner at Itaipu and enjoy the luxurious rooms. The included morning buffet followed by a swim is easy with a 12pm checkout time. Obrigado!

Traditional rooms, but beautifully finished. The highlight is the fantastic bar and the food in the restaurant. One of the top ten meals of my life! Staff friendly, breakfast was broad, unfortunately too many wasps and flies to make sitting outside pleasant for breakfast, but not sure what the hotel can do about that. Still my favourite hotel chain. Fab staff

They set the highest standards for luxury hotel ! The experience was wow ! The hotel decoration is done with taste up to the smallest details. The service is one of the best I’ve seen, very thoughtful and super friendly. The quality of the cocktails at the bar, the food in the gastronomic restaurant and even the food in the buffet restaurant is great. Fitness room, spa, swimming pool is in the same line. And the localization of course is extraordinary. Just in front of the Iguazu falls. With access to the parc after closing hours, you can walk the Brazilian side almost by yourself in the morning or afternoon.

Best Hotel to go see the waterfalls, by a mile. The hotel is the only accommodation located within the national park, which means you have unrestricted access to the park and its stunning views before/after the park's opening hours - you should take advantage of this as you can visit the falls without any tourists around! The hotel itself is stunning and looks like it is straight out of a fairytale. Our room was spacious, luxurious and clean. The amenities are impeccable and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of them. The hotel has a beautiful poolside restaurant where gourmet meals are served (including authentic Brazilian Churrasco), a fully stocked professional bar, a fully equipped gym (uncommon for most 5* hotels) as well as an in-house Spa. What struck me the most was the attention to detail and friendliness of the staff, whose professionalism and warmth was impeccable. If you're coming to visit the waterfalls there's no better place than here. This hotel is by large and far the best there is around this area and can easily compete with any other luxury hotel around the world. P.S.: If you're still in the planning phase of your trip, I'd recommend you stay on this side of the river since the Brazilian side has the better/ most stunning views of the falls. You can do a day trip to Argentina to see the other side

You get what you pay for and this is the best hotel on the Brazilian side. Besides a luxurious accommodation (for the area), you get private access to the park as it's inside and you get to roam around after the tourists are kicked out. The staff are really great and the hotel is well maintained and beautiful. Sunrise and sunset walks at the falls is a must. You don't need a tour package, just walk down when your ready to go. In fact, most of the hotel tours don't seems worth it as it's full of fluff and/or stuff you can do on your own like the waterfall boat tour which is cheaper if you just book directly with Macaco tours. Overall a great stay!

The ONLY place to stay! Beautiful grounds and the staff service is exceptional. It has the best location inside the park. We’ll be back, if just to stay here again. Dinner was wonderful and I happened to order this beautiful drink in the bar. Delicious!

Do yourself a favour & book this beautiful hotel!!! To have the experience of walking around the falls in the evening and morning without battling the crowds is absolutely priceless as the hotel is located right in the park. Not only this but the hotel service is exceptional and it is a stunning character-filled hotel. Loved it!

Highly recommended! No need for a waterfall view room. The other rooms are great too. This hotel is a true 5 star hotel with amazing service, highly professional and cordial staff, full of kind attentions during our entire stay. The ground of the hotel and surroundings are full of birds to watch early in the morning including toucans. We recommend to stay there a few nights at least to enjoy the hotel itself and its amazing location and private access to the park outside open hours to the public. If you arrive in Argentina and then travel to the hotel, you can easily take a taxi from the airport to the entrance of the park. There is a free shuttle from the gate to the hotel. We had a junior suite and it was brilliant. The cleaning staff, the turn down service and everything else was just as one may expect from the best hotel. The pool area is very nice and the service is spectacular. The breakfast buffet covers most needs including vegan options, savory, fruits, healthy, and cakes!!! We had lunch, dinner and late lunch with the pool snack menu. Overall the food was good and the service excellent. Some of the food is heavy though (fried food items in particular), beef was ok but not delicious like may expect from Brazil or Argentina. Some of the food is over complicated without bringing the taste to the same level. Do the boat activity, the walk on the Brazilian side before sunset, the Argentinian side in the morning. Oh

  • 5/5 Vita E. 1 year ago on Google
Exceptional location allows you to have a "private access " to the falls when the Park is already closed or not open yet for the public. It is the only hotel on a park territory. Stay at least one night. Hotel also has a gourmet restaurant. On my opinion, Brasil side of the falls is much more interesting comparing with Argentinean... In fact, it looks so different one can say is a different place... Best way - if you have an option to compare it yourself. We've been there a few years ago. Hope, today you can have the same unique experience as we did then.

Fabulous stay! Ricardo at the front desk was so helpful. Octavio at the restaurant was kind and personable! This hotel has phenomenal customer service. The hotel grants you private access to Iguazu falls before it opens up to the public in the morning. We basically walked the entire property without any other tourists. Airport transfer was seamless. Beautiful property! Thank you Hotel das Cataratas!! Will definitely come back!!

We had a great stay here and wedding of my sister was breathtakingly beautifully designed and implemented. It is quite a magical place. Great service that accompanied us from the beginning and read every wish of course from the lips. The rooms are beautifully designed. The entire areal is unparalleled to be in the middle of such a beautiful nature reserve and the wildlife so close to live in harmony with nature is really beautiful. Delicious are the chocolates that wait for you in the evening at the night box. At the pool I highly recommend you the coconut 🥥 and the Tuna sandwich really delicious 🤤. Sunset walk to the waterfalls is really something Spezial. Unfortunately I deduct one star, cause there has been a big mix up of our room bills.

You get what you pay for. Private access to your the park at all hours of the day. You get to experience great sunrises and sunsets. Sunset walks are a must. Also a must is to take the boat into the waterfalls. A great experience all around. I would stay here every time I visit. Friendly staff, great service and a lot of food choices

WOW...Just. WOW! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was incredible! We have stayed at several hotels all around the world and this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at! We are literally dreaming of the day that we can come back! From all of the personal touches inside of our room to the incredible personal experiences you get at the waterfall, this place is simply amazing. They anticipate your every need at every second of your stay! The breakfast was incredible! The dinner we had at the hotel was one of the best meals I have ever had. This hotel is worth every dollar spent! It is pure relaxation and luxury. You will not find any other hotel like this anywhere in the world. Special shoutout to Jonathan who greeted us at the entrance and made sure our stay nothing but perfect right from the start. I wish I would have stayed here for longer. You need at least 3 or 4 days at this hotel to feel like you have soaked it all up! We will be back very shortly!

Great location for our honeymoon! The staff were all friendly and had great attention to detail, adding a lot of personalized touches. The room was very comfortable and we loved the food options onsite. My husband is from the area and said the hotel was worth it for the early morning tour alone, which was before the park opened to the public. Francisco was one of the best tour guides we've ever had, both for the morning falls tour from the hotel and for a day trip to the Argentina side of the falls, which we would highly recommend. The hotel took care of all the details and it was an amazing experience, very convenient. The location is far from the rest of the city, so as long as you're aware of that it's perfect.

Highly highly recommended! Location is amazing, staff is really friendly and helpful, the hotel paid attention to every detail, the restaurant is delicious and I only have positive things to say and remember about my stay. We will definitely come back!

Literally the best hotel I have ever stayed at. On top of the incredible location (inside the national park, allowing for lots of wildlife visit including monkeys, coaxci, iguanes, and lots of beautiful birds, and off course having the falls all to ourself before and after the park opening hours), and a beautiful, tasteful architecture and decoration, the staff was wonderful and the attention to details next level. I proposed to my partner on our first night, at the top of the tower we had privatized fur sunset, and the hotel staff made this stay very special. Now we can’t wait to come back for anniversaries 😜 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the hotel team for making our stay unforgettable 💛

  • 5/5 Courtney S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful hotel and grounds. You can view the falls without crowds early in the morning and in the evening, which is a huge win. Some fellow guests saw a jaguar 50m from the property while we were eating dinner there. Breakfast had an amazing selection.
