I've been to Zwei several times, always for the warm lunch dishes, and I can't recommend it in good conscience. The food sounds pretty good in principle and is beautifully presented on very nice plates, but you are extremely disappointed with the taste. Often things don't taste particularly intense or aren't round. Dishes were often only lukewarm, even though they were eaten on site. With chicken breast in sauce, the chicken was tender, but the edges were completely black because perhaps it was kept warm in the oven for too long? The sauces are often very thin. Pasta in cheese sauce hardly tastes like anything. The individual components are often decorated next to each other, but the taste is not really coordinated. Seasoning is more common here. Rather average cuisine at significantly high prices. If I go to a restaurant and think 'For that price I could have done better at home and even cheaper', then you don't enjoy eating out and it defeats the purpose. The staff and atmosphere are nice, but the food has to be convincing.
