Das Angebot an Futter ist ebenfalls üppig. Leider scheint die Firma Tropical so langsam aus den Regalen zu verschwinden; es war zumindest mal deutlich mehr davon im Angebot. Die in anderen Rezensionen beschriebenen “Probleme“ mit dem Personal kann ich bis dato nicht nachvollziehen. Und um die Becken kümmern sie sich offensichtlich auch sehr gut. Das Thema “Preise“ zieht sich leider wie ein roter Faden durch alle Bereiche der Filiale und der Kette. Man muss schon gehörig aufpassen... Abseits des Diskus (dort gilt die UVP des Züchters) wirken die Preise für Fische und Wirbellose im Vergleich zu stationären Konkurrenz auf mich in weiten Teilen absurd hoch. Auf die Körpermasse bezogen reden wir teilweise von 300% und mehr. Man schaue sich zum Vergleich einfach mal etwas südwestlicher im Rhein-Main-Gebiet um, wo ein Konkurrent seine beiden großen Filialen hat. Da kann sich - bei gleich guter Beratung - die weitere Anfahrt teilweise schon beim Kauf von nur zwei L-Welsen richtig lohnen. Hatte den Effekt selbst schon erlebt. Bei der Technik (Filter!) und der Deko (Stein) ist ebenfalls Obacht geboten. Wenn man Steine, die sich wegen ihrem Gewicht nun wirklich schlecht für den Verkauf im Versandhandel eignen, online zu einem Drittel des Kölle-Zoo-Preises bekommt, wird es langsam hoffnungslos. Bei meinem letzten Besuch habe ich 180ml-Einheiten von lebenden Tubifex-Würmern gekauft. Stückpreis: 3,49 €. Abgesehen vom nicht mehr ganz astreinen Zustand (erst beim Anrichten bemerkt; war auch schon in einer anderen Rezension Thema), nimmt die stationäre Konkurrenz für das gleiche Produkt vom gleichen Züchter 1,69 € - also nicht mal die Hälfte. Das führt zwangsläufig dazu, dass ich eigentlich immer seltener bei Kölle Zoo reinschaue, weil nicht mal diese kleinen Sachen einen Besuch rechtfertigen. Aus diesen Gründen kann ich nur noch gerade so 3 Sterne vergeben. NACHTRAG aufgrund der Antwort von Kölle Zoo: 1. Zu Ihrer “Bestpreisgarantie“ habe ich im Laden keine Werbung gesehen. Auf der Homepage konnte ich sie zumindest unter dem Menüpunkt “Service“ finden (aber nicht über die Suchfunktion). Frage: Warum bieten Sie Ihren Kunden nicht grundsätzlich gute Preise an? Prinzipiell bietet das Geschäft auch einen guten Service - und hier setzt genau das Eigentlich vom Beginn meiner Rezension an: Ich bestellte bei Kölle, da diese Artikel nicht vorrätig waren, ein Aquarium und eine Leuchte, welche laut dem Verkäufer binnen zwei Wochen geliefert werden sollten. Nach besagten zwei Wochen erkundigte ich mich bei Kölle, bekam jedoch nur ein knappe Antwort, dass die Artikel noch nicht verfügbar sind. Nach einer weiteren Woche fuhr ich direkt in das Geschäft und wurde erneut vertröstet. Nach einem weiteren Anruf bekam ich nun immerhin die Aussage, dass der Lieferant aktuell nicht lieferfähig sei und es noch weitere 3-4 Wochen dauert. Kölle kann nichts oder nur wenig für die Lieferfähigkeit der Lieferanten, daher gibt es für die Verspätung an sich keinen direkten Abzug. Sehr wohl kann Kölle bei der Bestellung jedoch darauf hinweisen, dass die Lieferzeiten aktuell verlängert sind (andere Geschäfte konnten, als ich mich bei diesen vor dem Kauf erkundigte, dies schließlich auch) und man kann proaktiv den Kunden informieren. Dass der Mitarbeiter, der die Bestellung aufgenommen hat nicht den Schneid besitzt, sich selbst bei mir zu melden ist hier das i-Tüpfelchen. Insgesamt ist die Art, wie mit der Bestellung umgegangen wird, meiner Meinung nach nicht kundenfreundlich - zumal auch der Abteilungs- bzw. Filialleiter in der Vergangenheit nicht auf Mails von mir antwortete. Dazu passt, dass ich bei der Bestellung der Leuchte wissen wollte, ob diese in einer anderen Filiale vorhanden ist (hier war ich mir recht sicher, dass es so ist) - hier lehnten die Mitarbeiter einen Anruf o.Ä. bei der anderen Filiale ab, da "(...) diese Filiale nicht zu uns gehört und die Leuchte dort ohnehin nicht vorrätig ist." - Ein paar Tage später war ich in besagter anderer Filiale und hielt die Leuchte dort in meinen Händen. Hier wünsche ich mir ehrliche Antworten, da so entstehender Frust vermieden werden kann.

For the live stock you get them in reusable container (you need to pay a "pfand" for that, but can return any time) what is much better then plastic bags, especially if you are serious to aquaristics. Also a selection of technical equipment, hardscape, tools, food etc is very huge. Yes, that is the best shop for fish tank lovers in the area. -1 point for the prices.
