Overpriced and oversized meals, not one of us 6 finished our meals. Being sat at the front door with a decent wind blowing every time it opened was extremely annoying. With the door being opened every few minutes for the several hours we were there was a terrible wind tunnel! I asked staff to close another door to stop the wind tunnel and cold wind, no was their only response. We could have been relocated to a vacant table, no was the only response again. Won't see me again!

This place is just fabulous. The food was delish with massive portions to match as well. The staff were very very pleasant despite being run off their feet. Always smiling n happy to help you. Just a suggestion that the kitchen also stocks up on jalapenos in addition to the hot sauces. We had a beautiful evening and will be back. Really friendly staff and a good section of food on the menu! Generous servings and reasonably priced. Not wheelchair accessible into the main restaurant. Massive step at the front door to get inside. They did have seating outside though that would accommodate if booked ahead.

Staff were lovely and attentive. Food was good. We were upsold to a higher quality steak ($63 for 300gm ms9). It was good and cooked well but too salty. Same with the salt and pepper calamari we had as an entre (too much salt). The pulled pork parma was enjoyable. The ribs were very tender and tasty. Overall good experience.

I recently tried the restaurant and had a good experience. The food was fantastic, with generous servings. The location is perfect, especially after a day at the beach. Love the ribs, corn bread, mozzarella balls and buffalo wings. Highly recommended if you are looking for American food.

We were seated and served by two lovely gentlemen and the chefs/cooks did a wonderful job with the food. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the seafood basket was a massive size! Only disappointment was the lady at the counter when we went to pay. Her demeanour and shortness towards us was in direct contrast to the other two gentlemen who waited on us. But overall great experience and will be back - thank you

Service was very quick, generous servings, food was delicious! Don't get much for the additional fee for the gravy & only 1 mushroom for the sauce, that was the only disappointment. Seating is very squishy tho.

I ordered the double burger which came with a side of fries and i ordered a strawberry, the burger was awesome very flavorful and juicy i opted for mustard and tomatoe sauce instead of what were offering only because if I'm going to eat american cuisine I'm going for the ol'school classics hence why i also order the shake, unfortunately the shake was a let down and the fries were average. They used the same stuff for fish'n'chip shakes which was a let down nothing special and the fries were seasoned which tasted good but i should of ordered the loaded fries instead. Over all the serves was great the stuff was friendly and helped us out when ordering they were able to answer our questions, would come back and try other meals.

Sunday night dinner, Bit busy, was seated and bit of a wait but greeted with apologies from BRODIE, polite attentive to my needs and service. Grabbed the King Parmagiana, #OMG it's huge and now in my top ten parmagiana go to places. Full flavours and then some. PRICED good for the sizing, it's big. Service was backed up by a bottle of water half way through and asked if needed any drinks. This is a plus anywhere you eat. Meal plus milkshake was $48.00 mark. Great job Brodie , thank you.

Lockdown 5.0 and are exceptionally happy that even though I can’t dine in, that I can at least get delivery from my favourite restaurant in Frankston, Iron River, it was so easy. Delivery service was awesome, driver was very friendly and arrived when stated. Food was hot, well presented, the chicken succulent and tasted delicious. Highly recommend

Our new favourite dinner spot! Our second time here last night and it was just as great as the first night we were here…last week :) Reasonable prices, great serving sizes and the waiters are always friendly & gracious…this place is buzzing and always full on the occasions we’ve been here but the wait times on food have always come out in a timely manner…expect to see more of us and my family again

Iron river bar and grill.. boy have I been excited to try your food after watching the boys on tiktok rate your parma very highly. We were seated in the middle of the booth between two other tables, a bit squishy if you ask me it almost felt like we were sitting at the same table.. now I know for next time to request not to sit along the booth. We waited 35 minutes for food which we thought was abit long until the meals came out.. OMG the size of the rump steak was massive! it came with a side of chips and salad. My partner got the king Parma and we got some wings to share. And may I say both meals we’re definitely worth the wait as they were both the best Parma and steak we have ever had!!! The only thing that needs improvement is service from the staff.

I stayed in the hotel attached and ate here every night on my own. I honestly only kept coming back because of the service. The service is outstanding. It was near booked out every night and the young staff are so focused and hard working. Considering how busy they are they were not panicking or run off their feet muttering about customers to their colleagues like some other places. I was really blown away as to how on to it the staff were. I only sat in the bar area and happy to order my own drink when I was told by a young lady that “ it’s ok I will get it for you , it’s table service “ . WOW . Food is also out standing well done !!!

3 words, HELL YEAH BROTHER. What a feed, ended up rolling out the door! The girls that served us where very lovely and where super patient with our order and constantly made sure our table was clean and napkins where stocked up. The food was incredible, the wings were delicious, and the spicy options actually had some kick that made it soooo tasty. The ribs were massive and cooked so well that the meat fell off the bone. I felt my arteries clogging every bite with the philly cheese fries and it was worth it. Absolutely amazing place to eat out if you are a foody with an eye for both quality and quantity

Absolutely the best!! We've had dinner from these guys a few times and can not fault them at all and even though my birthday is in lockdown this year, when my Hubby asked me what I wanted for dinner I said Iron River!! They've made it so much better just by making such an amazing dinner for me and my family! Thank you so much guys, it means the world to me 🧡

Oh my lord, magnificent food and service. You need to try this place, and if you don't like it... there something wrong. Caters for the large majority without sacrificing its target menu. Fantastic. I'd add photos but the food is just gone!

Perhaps it was just a bad day for the kitchen, but the one time we decided to visit Iron River Bar & Grill for lunch, we ended up having food poisoning about 5-6 hours afterwards and continued feeling ill the next day. It was the only thing we ate that day before feeling sick and although I wish I could give a higher rating, we haven’t had food poisoning in years even though we eat out a lot so this was a bit of a shock. We also paid a pretty high price for the food so I’m afraid we won’t be keen to come back.

I ordered the Southern-Fried Crispy Chicken burger and it was great! It was tender and crispy, the bacon was really good quality and the bread was nice and soft. The only thing I didn't like was the cheese because the flavour was a bit over-powering. Also, the burger had quite a lot of BBQ sauce on it, don't get me wrong it tasted great! But it was really messy, so if you don't mind getting your hands dirty I absolutely recommend it. The fries were great, and the seasoning was perfect. The portion size was pretty good, I wouldn't order a large drink next time though, as it did leave me pretty full! I shall be returning soon. - L

Very delicious, very friendly atmosphere

Are 5 minutes before the reservation and got seated immediately. A good amount of time to look over the very in depth menu. Service was prompt and efficient. The food did not take a long time even after being told the kitchen was backed up, waited 10 minutes for the Starter and another 10 for the main. The food was amazing, great portion sizes and so delicious. Had the Texas Beef Ribs and it just melts of the bone, some of the best food tasted in many years. Pricing is affordable considering the large portion sizes you receive. I advise you not eat much before attending, the food and drinks are definitely something you want to enjoy. Will be returning in the near future and would recommend to anyone. 10/10.

If you like huge American style meals, you can't go wrong. Huge tasty meals, quite expensive but worth the money

My family and I went to celebrate a family member's birthday at this restaurant. It was a long way from home but I must say that it was so worth the time to get there. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even set-up a special ramp for my sister-in-law, who uses a walker, to enter the restaurant from a different entrance as there were steps from the other way. The food was amazing and it didn't take long to arrive at our table. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a good meal out.

Philly cheesesteak was very lacklustre and flavourless, I really recommend ordering the ribs however, as they were a lot better. Chips were also good. The banana cocktail was delicious and was the highlight of the meal

Great restaurant with huge range and even bigger portion sizes. Great range of steaks, ribs, and American style dishes. Decent range of drinks. Portion sizes are huge. Staff were really nice and the place had a good vibe.

Located next to Quest Hotel, what a great crew! Then servings for mains that went past me looked enormous. However, I can't recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. A generous serving, although the fries were fine the first serving was so salty, they replaced with another but I still found it salty. I can't recommend the fruit driven house cab sav either. Guess not my taste.

Amazing meals! Massive serving sizes! Catered to and welcomed my kids including my sleeping son in his pram! Key was available to take my toddler to the toilet 10x before dinner!! Michael was our waiter he was super amazing! And the real only fans! service with a smile! As a previous waitress, customer service is essential and vital to my overall experience somewhere and he was 10/10!! I would rate this place 👌 and will be back

Quick service even though they were super busy. Tasty food. Attentive staff. I've been there a few times in the past year, through lockdowns etc and gentlemen have been there throughout and their service is impeccable. Wish I knew their names. One guy has longer dark hair, and the other wears a cap. Both on top of their game every time in front of house.

We loved this dinner. Starting from the drinks, one ( actually two) of the best Long Island Ices Tea I ever had. The food was a lot and so tasty and delicious. The service was great, these guys are great and with a big smiles on their faces ( and it is 10pm) . Not a fault. We’ll be back! Thank you Iron River!
