Last time I visited, I gave 4 stars. I am now updating my review to 5 stars. The chicken chips and gravy pie was delicious. Tasted exactly as I expected, and I've never seen that combo before. The cheesy sausage roll was good.

I was greeted this morning with a lovely bright beeming smile and an equally warm and bright "how can I help you" a ham and lettuce roll with a scrape of egg may sound simple enough but team that with a somewhat precious request (from me) that the salt and pepper be put on the egg and the smile and assurances of it being no problem followed.. add a jam tart and a strawberry big m and lunch is served.. the roll was delishously soft on the inside and the right amount of crunch on the outside, the jam tart perfectly jammy with divine pastry that was perfectly crunchy and flaky... will definitely pop in again when I'm in town.. as simple as it was it was the perfect amount of simplicity... the service was beyond perfect!!

Bought an Apple Scroll on the weekend it was undercooked/raw and got sick with diarrhoea and stomach pains. Went back to the bakery this morning to tell them about the Apple Scroll I bought on the weekend and I got probably the rudest customer service you could ever expect from a staff member. I didn’t receive an apology or a refund instead the woman working their at the time was giving every excuse under the sun to avoid giving me a refund. I won’t be coming back to this bakery for a long time until they fix their customer service standards and have bakers know how long to bake things for.

Hand on heart, a four n twenty pie at the Foodary tasted twice as good as the plain pie here. Their pastry has zero crust or crunch, just slops about.

Was a nice pepper pie. Sausage roll I wouldn't buy again it tasted like chicken stuffing, probably better suited for kids. $6.90 for a pepper pie is fairly expensive but not outrageous.

Fantastic pies, best bread around and service to boot....gotta have the Cheesy Beef pie!!

Cheeseburger pie is very good. Was keen to try the chicken, chips n gravy pie yet none left. Hopefully next time.

Possibly the worst bakery in Melbourne that I know of. Really bad pies, sausage roll taste like dog meat and $4.20 for a tiny Vegemite scroll half raw and seriously lacking Vegemite. So sad for the locals here

I stop for lunch at the bread spot from time to time. Highly recommend you pop in if you are in the area you won't be disappointed 💯

The father of my son took me here a couple of weeks ago, he loves this place braged on about this bakery. I had the steak and mushroom pie... I absolutely LOVED IT!! ...It was honestly amazing, I love the pastry. The texture of the pastry is so soft, and the flavour of steak and mushroom pie was delish! 😊😁 😉satisfied customer😌 💕

The only place to go! Great coffee, great bread and sweets, curry pie to die for and the loveliest staff ever.

Used to think this place was great but I've been there 6 times recently and they never have spinach and feta parcels ready. Very rarely do they have any other hot vego options. Today I opted for the cheese and tomato egg pie and it was honestly disgusting. It was so overcooked and dry with very minimal filling. Total waste of time and money. I really want to support small businesses but unfortunately, I'll be going to 711 in future.

Oh, bakeries are such wonderful places and you can get pretty much the best of the best here. Opening early every day, I started with a coffee and fresh rolls. Later in the week (working in the area) I came back for a meat pie. Delicious. There are plenty of types of bread and bakery items including cakes and biscuits and freshly made rolls and sandwiches. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front. Staff are exceptionally helpful. Excellent selection of pies (my favourite either goulash or sweet curry)and cakes or if you prefer, freshly made rolls and sandwiches. Always friendly service. Just a great local gem.

First review I’ve ever given but I couldn’t not! Great little bakery. So thankful to be a local, because I walk here ALL the time. The coffee is always perfect. So many places make their mediums and large way too strong but bread spot hits the nail on the head every time, and it doesn’t matter which of the friendly staff makes your coffee because they’ve all clearly been taught by an exceptional barista. The pies are *chef’s kiss*. Do yourself a favour and try their pepper pie. Best donuts I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ll never go to Woolies or another bakery for cinnamon donuts; Bread Spot has ruined all others for me 😂 Can’t rave enough about this place!

Great food and staff are great too. Love the Pies and Banana Muffins are to die for. Coffee is good too.
