Spent a beautiful day with my grandma and my beautiful partner today at AD Hoc Mt. Eliza. We were celebrating my Grandma's 90th birthday and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond by bringing out a candle in her food and singing her happy birthday as well as playing happy birthday over the speakers. Just made the day so special for her. My Grandma was glowing afterwards and wants to go back. The food was delicious as well.

We visited this morning for brekkie after reading some great reviews, and we weren't let down. The welcome by staff, and their friendliness throughout were fantastic. The coffee was good but the food was great. Loved the Corn Fritters and Haloumi... Yum! The chilli scrambled eggs had a good amount of kick... Great way to start your day! If you haven't tried them, do yourselves a favour and give them a go. 😊

Tolerant staff as we were more enthralled with our family catchup than dining. Great coffee and comfortable atmosphere. Appeared very popular with the brunch crowd. We will go back for lunch soon.

Oh absolutely my very favourite cafe anywhere in the world. Coffee 👌🏻 food oh my goodness what Deon creates along with his crew is so edgy and delicious as well as eye candy. James never forgets your name and greets you and seats you. He is such a gentleman opening the door as he says thank you and nice to have seen you again.

Absolutely fantastic corn fritters and Bircher! The staff were suffering from tech issues with their point of sale machine on the day, causing a stir with putting through orders but they took it all in their stride and got on with it as best they could.

I celebrated my birthday breakfast at Ad Hoc and they didn’t disappoint! I had the avo, with a generous piece of haloumi, the kids had pancakes; bacon with one and berries with the other and hubby had the salmon with poached eggs. Coffee was nice and service was excellent! Loads of space on the tables and we didn’t feel cramped, like many other cafes. Thank you for a memorable birthday breakfast!

Fantastic cafe located on the Main Street of Mt Eliza. The staff are all amazing, promoting a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. My partner and I had the daily special of chilli scramble and eggs Benedict with a few inclusions which was all delicious. The coffee and berry smoothies were superb.

I may be a little biased (a lot actually) but the food, coffee and atmosphere are amazing. The kitchen pumps out fantastic food (insta worthy for the cool kids). James is an amazing and gracious host, he will make you feel welcome like no other. There really isn't anything to fault. Easily one of, if not, the best cafe on the peninsula.

Friendly welcoming service, great menu (solid brunch menu with not many frills) and beautiful calm, peaceful fresh modern interior. Coffee (long mac) is subtle, slightly bitter, moderately fragrant, a 3.5/5 for coffee.

Super nice service. We split one meal between two and they put it on two separate plates for us. Ordered the special - open omelette with a croissant. Perfect Sunday brunch

Great food, great staff, nothing was too much trouble. My wife had a chicken dish which was spicy but the staff supplied her with another meal at no extra cost and gave us the other meal to take home which I had for dinner, yum yum. We will definitely be back.

Nice place staff are pleasant, but the scambled eggs I ordered missed the mark. Jalopenos are on the menu not chilli flakes and the size of serve was dissapointing. If you like this review please like and share

Thank you to James, Dion and the team for delivering such a beautiful lunch today to help us celebrate International Women's Day! How lucky we are to work next door to the best place to eat in the village. We enjoyed a range of dishes with favourites being the Calamari and Soba Noodle salad and the Pumpkin and Haloumi Salad. Sincere thanks from the whole team for looking after us with such care and attention and for continuing to keep us going with our morning coffees!!
