Has to be one of the worst steaks I’ve had in my lifetime. Somehow it managed to taste of seafood, incredibly disappointed, especially considering it was $46/plate. If I was allergic to crustaceans I’d be highly concerned as it genuinely tasted like oysters. Would never recommend coming here. On top of that the steak was more like a lamb roast? Had no sear whatsoever.

Sep 2022: Amazing cute dining room with floor to ceiling glass and excellent views. All the food was excellent. Quail, steak, Murray cod. And the wine. Would have stayed longer if didn't have to drive and stop drinking! Note: the quaik stater had massive raisins / sultanas in it which I don't like. Didn't say it on the menu (I think - unless they have a different name I don't know of). Not enough to lose a star but the menu should list all ingredients.

Excellent 3 course meal for only $75. Everything was very tasty from entree to dessert. Our steak was so tender and cooked perfectly to our specific request.

Had a two course meal here, wish we’d had more time so I could have had the dessert too! Everything was delicious, however I ordered a rare steak and my friend ordered medium-to-well-done, but we both got medium-rare.. hers was arguably more pink than mine! It was still delicious for me but she left most of hers. Will be back all the same :-)

We had an amazing lunch at Bianchet Yarra Valley on the weekend! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs, and their friendly demeanour set the tone for a fun and lighthearted dining experience. The food was as amazing as the staff, with every bite bursting with flavour. We couldn't have asked for a better day out - it was the whole package of great food, great company, and a great atmosphere! Thank you - we look forward to coming back soon!

Knowing only a pop up pizza and pasta menu was available my expectations weren’t high. Arriving to a very un maintained building and facilities, filthy stained dining seats and seating with no view of outside was disappointing. At the very least buy some new seats. I went ahead with the $35 wagyu beef bolognaise. Thinking some nice shredded beef and pasta might hit the spot. Receiving a standard spag bog with a single 50 cent piece of beef was insulting. It was oily and overall something I would expect from a cheap pizza joint. I washed it down with my $15 glass of red , which I had to remind them I had ordered, and that was as far as I went. Overall it was a very underwhelming experience. It felt like an old Sofia’s with a huge Covid tax. Would not recommend with much better venues in the area.

Let me paint you a picture. You are served on arrival by an amazing waitress who sits you under a beautiful tree on a summers day looking over the incredible vineyard at Bianchet. After ordering your first drinks, you are told the chef had just come back from sourcing fresh local produce. Which leads to you being delighted to taste the delicate flavours of your Kingfish and Beetroot appetisers. The team at Bianchet have done an incredible job providing a wonderful experience in the Yarra Valley. It is clear that their food and produce are treated with upmost respect and care. Thanks to the team for having us, can't wait to visit again soon!

Thanks to Sara for all your help and guidance planning my 60ty birthday celebration. Everyone on the day had the best time. The food was fantastic (thank you to the Chef and entire kitchen team) The drinks were also very well received by all attendees - great quality across the board. A huge special thanks to the three ladies working front of house for the day. They were awesome, very attentive, thoughtful and always had a smile on their face. We really appreciate all the hard work, and will recommend Bianchet to all our family and friends.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sara and the team at Bianchet Winery for a wedding event, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service and experience they provided. From start to finish, Sara's professionalism and attention to detail were evident, making the entire planning process a breeze. The venue itself is nothing short of breathtaking, with its picturesque vineyards and charming ambiance, providing the perfect backdrop for any special occasion. Sara's expertise in event coordination ensured that every aspect of the celebration was executed flawlessly, leaving both the couple and their guests in awe. Throughout the event, Sara's warm and welcoming demeanor made everyone feel at ease, fostering an atmosphere of joy and celebration. She went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests and ensured that every little detail was taken care of, leaving no room for worry or stress. The staff at Bianchet Winery were equally impressive, providing top-notch service and hospitality to all the guests. The seamless coordination between the team and the event vendors, including the entertainment provided by SIFA Events, contributed to an unforgettable evening that will be cherished by everyone involved. If you are considering hosting an event at Bianchet Winery, I wholeheartedly recommend working with Sara. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence shine through in every aspect of her work. It is evident that she genuinely cares about making each event a memorable experience for all. Thank you, Sara, and the entire team at Bianchet Winery, for making Dani and AJ's wedding a resounding success. Your hard work and dedication truly paid off, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future.

Had a wine tasting followed by lunch and it was all absolutely magnificent. My wife and I ordered the croquettes and calamari for an entree followed by the pork belly and snapper for our mains. It's obvious that all of the produce has been well researched and is of a high quality. The flavour pairings were excellent and complemented each other perfectly. Sarah was a wonderful server who knew her menu and was able to provide her expertise perfectly. I cannot recommend a lunch here highly enough! Couple this with a wine tasting and you're sure to have a great afternoon.

We recently got married at Bianchet and it was the most amazing experience ever. Sara the venue wedding planner is brilliant, so warm and friendly and accommodating. Nothing is to much trouble and it was a pleasure to deal with her from beginning to end. The chef is amazing and all our guests commented it was the best food they had ever had at wedding never mind the amazing cocktails! The venue space was warm and intermate and the whole night was just a joy.

The new American BBQ tasting menu was delicious! Great food & beautiful service. Their sparkling was also amazing & went well with everything!

Beautiful winery with amazing food. We enjoyed every single dish that was served, it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were very good compared to most of the wineries where you end up stopping at Maccas on your way home from Yarra Valley 😂 We had the grilled Octopus, Terrine for Entrée Pork and Beef for Mains and finally the dark chocolate mousse and Bomb Alaska for dessert. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be frequent diners :)

Nice people, good food and drink, Place needs some TLA The dining area, needs a good spring cleaning and too many flies in the dining area. I am sure they can do something about it. More hospitality training would improve the quality of service. Have your coffee somewhere else.

Booked this restaurant for lunch based on the menu that was available on the website. My wife and i are vegetarian and the menu showed 2 veg entrees, 1 veg main meal and a handful of veg salads so we thought there would be plenty for us to eat here. When we arrived we were told that it is a 'pop-up' restaurant (!) and as such that the menu is reduced and not what is shown on the website. The 'reduced' menu had 3 entrees, none of them vegetarian, 1 veg main and all salads had been taken off. We asked if the chef could do any sort of veg entree given the circumstances but were told no. Pretty disappointing given that upon booking you are threatened with a $50 per head charge if the booking is cancelled within 48 hours but no mention that the menu is nothing like what is on the website. Also disappointing to subsequently read reviews from mid November on the open tables website with the same complaints. So the owner has had 6 weeks to change the menu on the website but cant be bothered. That shows me the regard they have for their customers and i wont be eating here again or their sister winery, Fergusons. The food itself (we had Gnocchi) was very good and came out in reasonable time and the service in general was also good so no complaints there but overall not a good experience considering the dozens of other wineries we could have chosen instead of this one.
