The best gluten free restaurant in all of Melbourne. All the dishes are nothing short of amazing and the entire menu is gluten free. They are also extremely mindful of allergies and have a lot of vegan options. I can highly recommended the duck curry and the chicken satay rice bowl. Both are amazing and to die for.

Friendly staff and fantastic service! I was there for lunch on Sunday and I can see locals coming back (they know the staff and had a chat) which was always a good sign. Laksa soup was a little Watery and not enough flavour, it also was served in flat rice noodles instead of vermicelli. The prawn laksa (like precooked) and seafood laksa's prawns (more normal) were different. Curry beef was beautiful though. Special praise to the staff-- one elderly couple accidentally knocked the wine glass off, shattered glass and wine everywhere. A few staff rushed over helped cleaning up, making sure they were ok, and poured another glass to the poor man. This warmed my heart with such caring staff.

Excellent. Could not find one fault with this meal. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and the place was busy and constantly turning over tables. We started with the bo la lot which were juicy and charred and absolutely perfect. The Hanoi spring rolls were straight from the deep fryer and were also perfect. Our main was the beef curry which had three lumps of slow cooked beef that melted in your mouth. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely return.

This little hidden gem has amazing food. It's all GF but you wouldn't know it. Their Pho and Laksa is top notch and made the authentic way. Where it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in flavour, service and menu choice. Don't miss the KFC (Cauliflower) or Duck Pancake! My wife (Coeliac) and I go there often for lunch during our weekdays off together, we don't even think about anywhere else in Mornington. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Lots of parking all around, free BYO, good drinks menu, not too pricey. Absolutely 5 Stars!

Great local restaurant where you can taste the French influence on many Vietnamese dishes. The Vietnamese chef was trained in high-end restaurants and even though they've built this 'beach house' restaurant on a budget, you can appreciate the small but cost-effective details, and enjoy the attention given to quality ingredients, including homegreen mint leaves for example.

It was a public holiday so the slow service was to be expected. Staff were friendly. The food was very good with ample servings. My black pepper wagyu beef came in two dishes. They have good vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Absolutely Fantastic restaurant!! All of the items we ordered were brilliant! Two of us had ordered the signature beef curry and the char grilled lemon grass chicken! Both were magnificent! The customer service was brilliant! Big shout to Phil for his hardwork. He was welcoming, polite and very professional. He took great care of us all night and made sure we had everything we needed. Really made sure it was a great evening!!

We were celebrating a new chapter of our lives tonight. We were actually looking forward to it as we’ve heard it is good however, the poor service let us down. There were two customers in the restaurant but it still took a very long time to take the orders from us. The owner was chatting away with a couple friends who came to dine there for the whole time we were there. The girl who served us seemed nice, but she was fixing her hair using the restaurant mirror (there was a mirror in the middle of the restaurant) prior to taking an order from us. Food was ok… but we won’t go back there nor recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely amazing. We both got rice bowls. They were a bit pricey so I was hesitant at first but definitely not disappointed. I had the beef curry which was divine. Good proportion and very filling. Look forward to going again.

Lovely little place - they don't take bookings, but we arrived with a group of 9 early on a Saturday evening and were accommodated without fuss. Lucky we did arrive early as the place filled up in no time! Absolutely delicious food - order and pay at the counter (which means no sorting out the bill at the end!). I had a couple of entrees and a salad, instead of a main meal. Prawn and ginger dumplings were amazing, as was the papaya salad. Friendly service and a perfect menu for our FODMAP friend, our vegetarian friend and our gluten intolerant friend!

Le feu offers soooo many amazing dishes that are inspired from Vietnamese and French cuisines. I had their 8-course tasting menu for 💰AUD 50pp, and I couldn’t believe the amount of dishes I got. I basically ate almost everything in their normal menu, which now helps me to know my favorites that I can order when I return for my next meal 😋

Everything gluten free! The cuisine being served is Viet with a lot of twists, with a lot of vegetables. Big servings for a larger group to share. Recommend to try out the duck breast curry, pork belly, lemongrass grilled chicken. Taro chips are definitely a plus when you checked in on social media while waiting for the food to come. Staff are welcoming and always pay attention to customers' needs. Strongly recommended if you crave for something different down the bay area.

Not exaggerating but the pho was the best tasting pho I ever had, and right in Mornington too! The serving was very generous for only $17. The green prawns were soo tasty even though I was reluctant to try them. Def give this place a try.

Wow a totally gluten free accredited restaurant, that also offers Fodmap on some dished. This restaurant is just magic for so many people. The staff are very friendly and the food is really tasty. Service is nice and quick and it's really popular so it pays to book a table. Yes we are definitely going back.

We came here with family, on their recommendation and were dissapointed. The duck pancake was cold, the prawn kebabs were minced prawn (we expected whole prawns), and the crab Bao was a piece of soft shell crab (we expected crab meat) Overall a dissapointment and won't return

It can get very loud when it's busy, and when full it's a tight squeeze to navigate - but the staff are friendly, and the food is very good so it's absolutely worth the trip. Gluten free, too, so take your food-sensitive friends! 🙂

This was the first time I had been here in years and I must say it didn't disappoint. Whilst it was super busy, I can't not fault them. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Food was incredible, fresh and delicious and knowing it was all 100% gluten free and safe for me to eat made it such an enjoyable evening. Will be back very soon.

The food was absolutely delicious! Amazing to know that it's all gluten free and safely prepared. It's very fresh and filling. Portion sizes are great. Staff is wonderful, kind and so friendly. Highly recommend making a booking before going as it's usually pretty busy.

The pho is good but the beef wasn't exactly wagyu beef. It would have been good to have extra bean sprouts as well. The location is on a side street away from the main street of the Mornington, which makes it easier to find a park.

Friendly customer service , authentic Vietnamese menu. Great tasting coffee , must try sugar cane prawn. Plenty of seating inside and out.

This place exceeded our picky expectations, and the waiter provided v good service. Their friendly face and attentiveness added a special touch to our dining experience. It was extremely noisy, however, but that was the only downside. Highly recommended tho!!! Try the chicken satay and the pork dumplings! SO GOOD!

Went to this Restaurant on Easter Saturday 8/4/23. This is basically a Vietnamese restaurant with a fancy name. Our first impression when seated was that the price looks rather exorbitant. Then when the food came, we find there was nothing "terrific" about it, just the average. You'd probably get better ones in Springvale. Ordered the Beef Pho, their so called "Wagyu Beef" was quite ordinary. The size of the serve was smaller than average and it doesn't come with a separate plate of fresh bean shoot and basil leaf which is normal in my experience. We had to ask for ours. For anyone who crave on Viet food in Mornington, I suppose this is the only place. I suppose thats the reason for the higher than normal price. Including the 15% PH surcharge, one can easily spend over $20 per meal.

Our first time here and we were very impressed! Had the duck pancake, dumplings, succulent lamb ribs and crispy pork belly. They were all delicious! The lamb ribs were divine! Service was also great and staff all friendly. Will definitely come back. Thank you! 😊

Had the best THE BEST spring rolls I have ever had!!! No idea what they wrapped them in but if you don't try some you are seriously missing out. Saigon spring rolls people!!! (there is one missing from the luck cos I couldn't wait to take a pic I had to shove one in my mouth)

The most amazing and authentic vietmese dining experience on the peninsula. The pho was amazing and the laska probably the best we've ever had outside of Asia itself. The menu is also fully gluten free, and this is the only place on main street that can promise no cross- contaminated food as the entire menu has no gluten. We will be back for sure.

Great food. Each dish had a distinct and different flavour. The banquet is a great choice to have a little taste of everything. Even had a small selection of Vietnam origin beer!

Ate at Le Feu tonight - had heard great reviews. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. There didn't appear to be attention to ensuring all diners scanned in and I had to ask a staff member to wear her mask properly. At the end of the night there appeared to be a staff meeting at one of the tables - masks please! The food was hot. But lacking in full flavour. Felt over priced for what was served. You have to go to the counter to order. Our order was taken incorrectly. Lovely night celebrating friend's birthday but service & food disappointed.

Absolutely delicious food 100% gluten free! Clearly all made on site, nothing mass produced. Sensational service as well. What a hidden gem!

Fantastic food and GF beer on tap! Happy beyond belief at the standards, speed and friendliness here. Only down sides where it was pretty cramped and since we were sat opposite the door it got really drafty (people holding the door open while singing in to QR code etc)

I am so excited to find this place! Gluten, dairy and peanut free, AND Low FODMAP menu too 😲🙌🏽 Food is amazing! Nice to have dumplings and Korean Fried chicken! There's spring rolls, bao buns, nice asian salads. Licensed too, no BYO. All Asian based.

  • 5/5 K J. 2 years ago on Google
So delicious! The entire menu is Gluten Free with a nearly identical FODMAP friendly menu for those of us with multiple dietary restrictions. Food was beautifully presented, very tasty and the other two in my dining group who do not require GF food were very impressed - we shared about 8 different items from the entree/sharing menu, including duck crepes, fried chicken bao, crumbed prawns, papaya salad, pulled pork tacos and more. I had a cheeky mohito cocktail to go with lunch and it was well made too! Hubby had a Vietnamese iced coffee and he rated that well too. Also, they sell the Mega Chef range of GF products that they use in the restaurant, so I also purchased fish sauce, oyster sauce, kecap manis and soy sauce to take home and try. I'd be back in a heart beat if it were in my local area. I'll be trying the Moorabbin location next!

Food was nice, but the service was sub-par, possibly due to new staff but I'm unsure. Unfortunately my coeliac partner had a reaction despite the menu being totally gluten free and CA certified, something probably worth looking into as we ate here due to the certification.

Just had takeaway from here for the first time (I live a little while away & didnt know it existed) and it was some of the best tofu I have ever had in my life- and I've had a lot!. Amazing vegan & vego options, veggie dumplings, fried cauliflower & tofu was all outstanding, even on a crazy busy day getting takeaway. I cant wait to eat in here & get more tofu. My mum had the calamari it was a bit dried out or overcooked but was still good and we put that down to how busy they were.

A genuine 5 star experience and my new go to for dinner in Mornington. Food is immaculate, brought some friends along that also loved it. To top it off they also gave us a free main dish, I didn’t realise service this good still existed. Dish recommendation: Wagyu curry.

It was our 6 year Wedding anniversary. My wife an I wanted to try somewhere different. We didn't want to let the gluten free tag put us off. What an amazing night, the food was mouth watering and service was fantastic. Feed back with grace. We ordered 5 entrees and you wouldn't know it was gluten free. Everything was so tasty, light and fresh. We can't wait to go back 🙂

  • 5/5 Michael C. 2 years ago on Google
Dined here with 5 friends and two children. Food was delicious, they were getting absolutely smashed with both in house orders and take aways, but all our food came out in a reasonable time, and service was excellent. Cocktails were great too. They had let us make a booking, but whoever took it, wrote it on the wrong date. They still accommodated us, just meant we had to sit outside. To apologise for the mix up they took 50% off our bill and comped our many, many drinks. Such a generous offer, I've had restaurants make far worse mistakes than that and offer nothing!. Highly recommend.

We had some entrees (tacos and vegetarian spring rolls) and two mains (beef curry and chargrilled chicken) The entrees were not the best and I’d probably skip them next time, but the entrees were delicious!!! The portions were large and our food came relatively quickly. Our server was nice and we had a great time.

Delicious food and the staff were attentive. We came in early as a table of 4 and we all really enjoyed the food it had heaps of flavour and we love the small plate concept so we can all share. Highlight was the Krispy Fried Chicken and so great that you have Two Bays beer on tap love supporting the locals

Just fabulous food. Perfect for meal alone or for the whole family. Great choices of food, friendly staff. The veggie springrolls have a smoke taste to it. Tables and chairs could be wiped cleaner. However, I highly recommended that place.

New to the peninsula and saw the great reviews. But all serves were tiny and cold. Satay chicken had gristle, yuk, and barely any sauce. Sugar cane pieces were tiny for $15. Veggie dish was sogged out. What happened? Would try again but not a great start.

Ah maz ing!!! Love this place and as a coeliac it's so good to be able to chose anything on the menu! Staff are fantastic. No pics we ate it to quickly

The food was very nice but the only disappointment for me today was the weather was cold and the staff told me to sit outside because there was no place inside..For me there it wasn't a problem sitting outside but atleast the restaurant could provide heaters for outside customers. .

Consistently amazing food that never disappoints. Every menu item feels like it belongs there and the food comes to your table very quickly. We had our beef pho, grilled calamari and Mekong fish claypot made by Zoe, the best chef in the world, and safe to say it tasted incredible. Lovely service and overall a must try if you're visiting Mornington.
