Absolutely amazing addition to the Frankston area. Really great range of beers and wine and a super knowledgeable guy running the shop. A must-go for anyone who loves beer

This was my first visit to the hop after walking walking past on several occasions, boy did it exceed my expectations. With 3-4 different seating areas, an open expansive bar area, a fantastic selection of local craft beers, I was in hops heaven. The food selection was plentiful and with qualified chefs onsite, it was delicious! The calamari was of a high standard. The drinks were a little pricey however I think that made up for the atmosphere and warming environment. Well done, a fantastic asset to Frankston.

Plenty of beer choices and the food is awesome. Having bang bang (from Mordialloc) in Frankston is great! Need a lot more places like it around the area.

Just picked up some delicious lockdown beer. I've been shooting down to The hop shop almost weekly since it opened last year. It is by far one of the best bars/bottle shops, not only in Frankston but the whole of Vic. All the staff are beyond friendly and have top notch experience. I have and would recommend this joint to absolutely anyone who wants a nice chilled environment, with an amazing selection of drinks. This is exactly what Frankston needed and it has never disappointed. See you when lockdown ends

A little gem for Funky Town. Primo selection of beers, knowledgeable staff and the food from Bang Bang was super tasty. Just done their outdoor rear courtyard which adds another level to this beaut of a find in Frankston. House Lager & Pale Ale on tap are exceptional for house beer quality you usually get.

Top spot! Only just found this groovy location. Rotating taps and a huge supply of craft beers available. Food was fantastic and full of flavour and variety! Go for the sticky pork bao buns and a the number 1 tasting plate, perfect pairing with the beers available. Sadly the pliney the elder beer sign to the left of the bar is regrettably just a sign and it's not on tap.....😢

Cannot express how amazing this place is for the Frankston community. The vibe is immaculate, the drink selection is outstanding, the food is unique (finger food serves) and super tasty....just all round so different and unique! I've never met a staff member here in a bad mood, they're always happy to suggest a pairing or discuss a new selection of beer with you. So good!

Great spot for a mix of cracking beers and some amazing food. I've visited a handful of times and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. I've taken my kids (6 & 1.5 yrs) and it hasn't been a problem - though I wouldn't say strictly child friendly, certainly child accessible.

Bloody good team running this bar. Great beers on tap, excellent range in their bottle shop too for take-aways. Plus they have a kitchen for great food. Get there early because this place fills out pretty quickly

Whether you're drinking beer, wine, spirits or cocktail - this place has a bit of everything! Food is top notch - Asian fusion from Bang Bang! Can get busy so would recommend booking prior. Cool place that I will definitely visit again! Cheers.

Best selection of craft beers on tap. 18 taps always changing. Friendly staff ready to explain what’s new. Cooler next to bar ready with more cans and bottles to drink here or for take a way. Wine and hard liquor also available. Good selection of tasty food. Very comfortable areas to sit and relax. Can’t wait to return.

A craft beer joint done right! From the impeccable and ever changing tap selection, to the downright amazing bottle shop. The staff are always friendly and helpful, led from the front by the owner Ed. I cannot recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favour and get down here.

Great atmosphere. Staff are good. Only problem is too many choices!!! Only sampled a couple of things - will have to come back to try the rest. Cute bar. Nice and warm for a traveller. Do recommend.

Stoked to find this gem in the middle of Frankston. Great range of Aussie craft beer on tap and fab set out. Wood fire inside but heating in the outdoor space to as well to keep you toasty!

Went for an early drink and dinner on a Friday. Beers were awesome, staff super friendly and the food was just the best. We’ve visited Bang Bang numerous times and the food at Hopshop was equally as good. Can’t wait to come back.

So many different craft beers always on tap and constantly rotating to offer customers something new and different to try. Limited beers constantly popping up in the bottle shop which you can drink at the venue or take home! Great vibes, great crew and great owner. Always a pleasure to be there on my days off

This place is perfection, and exactly what Frankston has needed. A brilliant selection of craft beers on tap, constantly rotating so every visit is like the first time. Sensational atmosphere, great playlists that provide a different vibe each night. Yummy food, friendly service and dog friendly. Calling it - it is the best venue in Frankston

Love coming here for a beer whenever I'm in Frankston! The staff are always lovely, huge variety of great craft beers and a generally good vibe too! My only request would be the addition of tasting paddles. Overall a fantastic venue and one that will not dissapoint.
