Amazing place. Had a reservation for 5 guys. Drinks were good, service was amazing, pretty and friendly. Barkeeper was friendly and open to suggestions and requests. Atmosphere was perfect. Next time we hope to be seated on the sofa though ;)

I used to LOVE the old management and staff at Hemingway bar. When i say old, i mean the folks who were around in 2018-2020. I returned to the place after all this time, hoping for the same joyous feeling of innovative drinks (with gin gin gin), amazingly invitational vibe, servers who loved to recommend cool combinations, fresh flavors in the drinks and amazing music. Now, it has become a pretentious, wannabe Munich bar space, with very pretentious menu of extremely overpriced drinks and a bartender and server who think they're god's gift to humanity and flaunt their uppity, high and mighty attitude like they own the place. Oh and it'll take 20+ mins for your drink to arrive, on a relatively less crowded evening. We insisted on getting a drink from the older menu. But they didn't have fresh lavender. So we got gin with basil and mint. For €14 and €13, this wasn't a worth it experience. It sadenned us to see this once-upon-a-time place of weekend good times end up to become the way it has.

Used to be one of the best bars /cigar lounges in Freiburg however the venue has halved in size and quality has generally decreased. Used to be a regular here but genuinely can't recommend it anymore.

Thanks for the amazing experience. I felt appreciated and seen. Great customer service. My bartender mister Gabriel always had an eye on me and my friends and took great care of us. Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful place and amazing cocktails. A bit pricey but worth the money. Tip : get your cocktails customize. People at bar are nice.

One of my favorite places in Freiburg. Great drinks, nice smoking lounge, and the bartenders gave us a round of free shots to celebrate my husband's birthday. Highly recommend!

Excellent vibes but quite expensive drinks

This place serves excellent coctails, special ones, not only the standard combinations and they are maybe the best in Freiburg! Also very nice atmosphere.. It is though a smoker's lounge and this is the only reason we don't go there all the time..

I went there with my friend. It's a place with an awesome atmosphere for smokers and nonsmokers who don't mind the beautiful aroma of quality cigars. There was a wide range of cocktail and cigar selections that we enjoyed learning about and try.. the cocktails are served with great aesthetics and taste to it. The service was prompt and the waitress was extremely nice.. Thank you for the wonderful experience..
