Please, if you are fishing, biking or anything that takes very long (>1hr), go pay and park at the bigger lot. The small lot is for people who go for a quick walk or run. I've been going here for a walk, running and kayaking for over 7 years. Always a less populated lake park compared to Elizabeth. Many ppl fish here too. The scene is absolutely beautiful, of course. The main lake is a good spot for fishing and kayaking, although for kayaking it's small but still very enjoyable. You can walk/run along the short or long circle route. There are two main parking lots, one free, small that's right off paseo padre, another huge, but paid and a bit further down. Before not many people know this lake but right now you have to wait to park in the small lot.

A beautiful space to have a picnic, hike, kayak or go to the beach. Most people don’t know if this hidden gem in the Bay Area but their hiking trails are scenic. I came here last week and it looks like the beach has been closed to the public. To get in each car pays $5 plus an extra fee if you are fishing or bringing a pet

My wife and I run here with our dog every week. Lots of different options for range. If you run the whole park it's 3 miles, but there are so many different cuts that you can make it 1 or 2 miles as well. You can even break off and run across the creek for further distance! Lots of good fishing from what I've seen others bringing back. I also see lots of trout and catfish in the creek too.

Parking is not abundant. Located on a street leading towards a residential area. The trail is relatively flat and pleasant. It's great for jogging and walking. Also, good for gravel biking. Wide path with 2 tiers, one that is street level running parallel to Paseo Padre Rd (to the right) and the other that veers below (to the left) which follows along the lake. It is best to decide which path you would like to take at the parking lot entrance as both trails are divided by a fence so you are unable to cross over unless you turn back, which I ended up doing. Trail is mostly in the open air with patches of trees for shade. The trail has a couple of forks in the road but I stayed on the main path and took the first left heading towards the lake. There are several benches along the way if you need a break and some underneath some trees overlooking the lake. There are a few porta potties at the front of the trail if needed near the parking lot. There is a sign to wear a mask at the beginning of the trail and most were wearing them. Appears to be in a safe location

Beautiful Park. They charge 5$ per car and some 3$ more per person if you want to use the beach facilities. Remember to take a sweater and sun lotion as there is a lot of open areas with no shadow. The place is gorgeous, very clean and well managed.

Great place to bike from Niles Canyon to Cyote Hills. The path is all paved with a couple of outhouses along the route. Be sure to stop and take a few pictures along the way.

A scenery trail that is very friendly to all people. At the top you will get a great panoramic view of Fremont - Santa Clara/ South Bay Area. There are a few branches along the trail leading to other different length of trail

Peaceful get-away just a short walk from my home. Never crowded on the weekday evenings. The AMERICAN HS distance team trains here. It's nice to see them and reminds me of my kids training years ago.

Beautiful views contrasting green trees, arid mountains and blue lakes and sky. The "Enseñada south" canopy kept us fresh even though it was an extraordinary hot day. Very well kept, neat, spacious and park staff came twice to take out trash.

Plenty of flat hiking trails to get your daily workout here. Multiple lakes formed from the old quarries makes it very interesting and scenic. Plenty of parking available, but there is a parking fee. There are a few free parking spaces next to the creek that goes along Paseo Padre.

The trail passes through residential areas, ponds, salt flats, and wetlands. It offers views of the creek, the hills, and the bay. It also has some shaded sections with trees and plants. The trail provides access to Coyote Hills Regional Park, which has more trails, wildlife, and cultural exhibits. The trail also crosses several bridges and staging areas with parking and facilities.

Wonderful place. Honestly surprised to see a place like this in the neighborhood. Great place for picnic. Best 5 dollar parking I've ever spent

One of the untouched trails with a great view. It is good to take a walk within the day time. The coarse texture would make it little difficult for to run. Rest, i was lucky enough to to spot a deer. Overall its a good place and i will definitely recommend you all to visit it.

Super solid place for triathlon training although it’s very flat. Late afternoons, wind picks up a lot especially as you get near the water. There’s also some small downhill areas if you have a mountain bike. The road bike sections get packed after 9am on weekends and are pretty empty on weekdays. Overall super solid and low stress trail

👍👍 The last time a Pujari saw me in a Hindu temple might have actually been the beginning of time, so I'm sure they were surprised to see me walk through the gates on a holiday. With that said, things were a little bit awkward at first, with people not really knowing how to handle my presence. It felt...
