We recently visited to this place. Amber is very good and very highly decorated shop. You can get antique silver,brass, and gold items and jewellery here. You can also get stoned jewellery and art crafted items. But the price is high. But quality of items and showpieces is very good. It's a very big store and have a very huge collection of artcraft. You will love this place.

The person in the store told me this was a fine, robust, unique piece that would last "forever". He also told me not to worry when I said I was going to take a flight home to Sweden. "We are very good at making packages so it doesn't break". This is what it looked like when I unpacked it. And it is definitely not the material he told me it was. Total scam!

I have been using this gift shop for over 7 years. I have had some beautiful pieces from them, ornaments, jewellery and scarves. I have to confess some of their stock was less unique than I was used to last year but the staff are very friendly and helpful, not pushy at all and their jewellery is lovely quality

Beautiful place for handmade art

Regular tourist fare with some interesting pieces of local significance. More gifts and souvenirs than "Jewelry" though.

My favorite shop for gifts for many years. Excellent original Indian paintings, TIbetan thankas. Gentle, kind shopkeepers never exert pressure. So disappointed to find it was closed today. I hope it opens tomorrow and forever!

The Amber gift shop is very nice, here are various types of art and craft items like metal, sandalwood, marble, fiber etc. are available here, as well as Indian Hindu Goddesses are available here on the idols of which you would love. And if you are going to visit the Gateway of India in Mumbai, then there is a gift shop from here.

Have some good pieces but tourists should be careful not to get scammed regarding quality or type of materials used. If you are looking for some pretty pieces but not overly concerned about quality of the marble etc this place has a good selection. For higher end art / collectables this isnt the place.
